Well, this place is close to where I live, clean, no smells, staffed and normally busy which is a good sign. The large 3-load machines cost $3 and I bring some quarters from my piggy bank and run a load every so often. It's pretty quick and I can run the load, dry and leave in about 1 hour. This is good place if you live within a few miles of the location as I wouldn't drive here from long away for a laundromat. Another plus is the Salmon Creek Cafe is just beside this place and you can get a coffee + apple turnover or eat breakfast or lunch at the same time if need be.

Since the hotel doesn't offer laundry service, I booked Quite Clean Laundry for 2 people's worth of dirty laundry after one week and they did a fantastic job. I arranged everything online (but called just to check because it was my first time using it). I left the clothes in a bag at the front reception of the hotel, Quite Clean Laundry picked it up and brought it back perfectly clean and folded nicely the next day. They offer same day service but I didn't need it so requested next day. They texted when they picked up, when the laundry was completed and when they dropped off at the hotel reception. The driver even called when he arrived at the hotel to drop off. Highly recommend.

Here is my story: I moved to West Seattle about nine months ago and have never had a problem with any of my dress shirts. Some were old, some were brand new. But they all got ripped at House of Kleen. The elbows were definitely worn (they're dress shirts, after all) but again I have never, ever had an issue with my shirts until I started going here. As soon as I start going here, my dress shirts start ripping in the elbows. Something is going on at this cleaner and it is not good business. I am so mad this happened. I used to have 10 dress shirts, now I have three and I have to go buy more. All of them ripped at House of Kleen. When I confronted the owner, he flipped out. "I don't ruin shirts. You ruin shirts. Your fault. You don't come back here." Needless to say, I was stunned. He wouldn't even listen to me. He simply refuted my claims and yelled at me. I yelled back, naturally. It was embarrassing. So far I haven't found a place until now that I feel completely comfortable using. This place has a lot of machines. The prices are a little higher than some other places but I am okay with that seeing how clean this place is. Not only were the fronts and insides of the machines were spotless but the detergent trays were spotless - I was pleasantly surprised. There is zero dust or settled lint anywhere. I like that prices & times of the machines are clearly marked. There is a machine that even has laundry bags in addition to a selction of products one woulld need: never seen that before. Also there are clean rags provided to wipe a machine or any washer spills. Place a good number of carts and they are practically perfect. All windows also spotless. The vending machine has a variety of beverages and snacks. This will be the only laundromat I use when I need one. I would like to send a thank you to the establishment for taking care and pride in this place. It's much appreciated.
