Stupid system that barely works. You have to basically pay $50 to wash and dry 3 machines. The app doesn't work properly and you have to feed the machine until it does. It's good for the owner of the business I suppose. But if you can go somewhere else and avoid this money laundering (literally) place, I would.

Just gross and abandoned.

So much abandoned trash and filthy washers. 7 of the regular driers don't work. One left we did not try due to already losing so much money. Bless those who left notes warning of the broken machines. No quarters on site. Mobile pay is a rip off and timers run out quickly on big driers. Will never be returning.

I came here because all the machines in my building were in use, but in the future I will wait. Not only was it filthy, but over half the dryers were not working so I ended up having to wait as others were using working ones. One of the washers looked like the door was going to pop off as it was spinning someone else's clothes. I just don't get how a business can operate without working equipment.

Broken change machine means you need to drive miles to get quarters!

Both sides of the change machine were inoperable and the place was a pig stye of abandoned belongings and crap all around. Who runs a business like this? The floor is filthy and hasn't been swept in weeks!

Clean machines, low prices and a sink to was your hands if you get soap or bleach on them. The floor is a little slippery with soap film and has some dirt and could use a descent mopping. There are three different priced washing machines. $1.75 per load $2.00 per load $4.00 per load - industrial size Dryers are .25 per 7 minutes A change machine and a soap vending machine. It's pretty quiet here on Thursday and Friday nights. Kind of chilly so dress warm if you sit and wait.

Here's some basic information: Olympic Heights Laundry is exactly what it says it is; a laundromat. Nothing more, nothing less - this is a place to clean your clothing. It is a self service laundromat with about a dozen washers & dryers. What you will find here: * Self Service Washing machines * Self Service Dryers * Change Machine * Vending Machine with usual laundry items: - Soap - Softener - Dryer Sheets * Seating for 4 people * 2 tables for folding & sorting clean clothing * 1 rolling laundry cart (there were 3 - maybe the other 2 were stolen?) Bring a book, magazine, homework, cell phone or pocket video game to keep you company while you wait for your loads to clean and dry. This isn't a child friendly place (no bathroom for changing diapers), so take care of your nature's calls before you come to do laundry. What you WON'T find here: * Restrooms * Food or beverage machines * Telephone * Games The owners are a couple fellows that come by often, tidy the place up, and keep it up pretty well - floors, machines and basic necessary maintenance from what I've seen. There are days when it gets really gross, but I'm sure it's just due to lazy, nasty customers. Mostly it is a relatively clean laundromat and the machines are usually in working order. Cost is about par with other places I've been. No surprises here - just clean clothes when you leave.

Only 6 out of 15 dryers work.

If you're looking for the single worst laundromat in the universe, you've come to the right place!! Where do we begin? 1) a change machine that was out of order for 6 months, and caused businesses within a 5 mile radius to put up signs that said "no change for Olympic laundromat." 2) 70% of the machines are out of order at all times, and most don't have out of order signs, so they either eat up your money, or you waste your time unloading and reloading machines, until you find one that works. So if you want to save money on health club memberships, this is the place to go for a free workout. 3) if you're lucky enough to find a machine that works, you'll probably have to improvise. Three of the dryers that actually are miraculously working, had to be taped shut with industrial tape to keep them from opening, per the attached picture. 4) absolutely, positively not one phone number anywhere, on any machine, signs, or change machine, so there's no way to provide feedback to the owner or maintenance people. 5) the prices on the same size and type of speedqueen dryers are different for identical machines. So if someone got to the machines before you did, it will cost you twice as much for the same machine. 6) call the CDC!! The guys in the white hazmat suits should show up and take a few swabs, because there may be new life forms growing in this place, per the attached pictures. Soap and water would be a start, to take off the first two or three layers, but they likely need to find someone with a work ethic and industrial chemicals to clean this place up. This laundromat establishes a new definition of rich: "he's so rich he wont even take your money when you try to hand it to him." If this guys owns the place to launder money (pun intended), he's an embarrassment to money launderers everywhere, and should lose his membership in the cartel. As far as I can tell, this guy has so much money and is so bored, that when he gets up every day at noon, and looks out over the vast blue ocean from the veranda of his thousand acre waterfront Spanish colonial estate in Hawaii, he thinks of as many ways as he can to mess with those poor working folk who have to use public laundromats - and all just for a chuckle. If you believe in democracy, and your right to vote, I respectfully you vote with your feet, and walk on over to any other laundromat on the planet. I would have hired a professional writer, but I can't afford myself.

One of many out of service dryers.

Half the dryers and several washers are out of service. Floor is dirty. This place needs some serious TLC.

No machines worked. Coin machine doesn't work. Have to use app but machines are old and don't sync via Bluetooth. $7.50 to wash.

Plenty of street parking infront of the shops down the street, though it is always busy and spots are always taken. The laundromat is nice and clean. Machine is clean and new. There are spots to sit and wait for your laundry, some arcade games, and they even sell slushies(?) and stuffs there if you need. For my comforter dry cleaning, it's a flat of $70+ (after tax). You drop it off and they'll tell you how long they'd need to get it done (5-6days). But you will get a text message when it's ready. I went to pick it up and decided to take a look right away. Glad I did, because it seems it wasn't cleaned right. The light-yellow ish stain from sweat wasn't even cleaned off. So i immediately showed it to the staff and they right away offered a second time dry clean for free. For this, I thought mistake/subpar quality was made but customer service to make up for it was acceptable. Would still give it another go at this location if I have anything to dry clean next time

West Seattle Laundry - Very clean very nicely maintained clean machines

I rarely use laundromats. My townhouse has a perfectly fine washer/dryer stack, but when I have…read morehouseguests and have to clean a lot of sheets and comforters, I have to seek out a laundromat. West Seattle laundry definitely fits the bill. THE ROSES: Off-street parking behind the laundromat is very handy, unless you come at a peak period, it's easy to find a close in spot and not have to hump your wash a long distance. Very good selection of machines, including large (3x a regular load), and a few truly ginormous (5x a regular load) for tackling comforters. Lots of large-capacity dryers that do a very good job drying blankets, towels, etc. The staff does a good job keeping the place up. The two times I used it this week I noted very few machines out of order, and the facility was clean. I am particularly fond of their use of app-based methods to pay for your wash (PayRange). No need to scrounge quarters to run the wash; just use the app and you're good to go! THE THORNS: Occasionally you see sketchy people in the area, and sometimes they use the laundry. On my second visit some strange dude came over and tried to make conversation, then shared he *just happened* to forget to bring his laundry soap, so could I spare some money so he could buy some from the dispenser? Fortunately I was almost done, so I could just brush him off and leave. It would be nice if the management could do a better job of keeping the riff-raff out, but to be fair, this is better than most pubic laundromats I've been to. THE VERDICT: When you have a LOT of laundry to do, or need to clean bulky items, West Seattle Laundry can be your 'go-to' place! Recommend.

I will never go back…read more I parked briefly in the back area to get change and returned within five minutes to a $122 ticket. My car was on, lights on, and I was in and out. You're expected to pay to park and pay to use the laundry, which was not clearly communicated. When I tried to resolve this, no one replied to my emails. They claim a five-day ticket payment policy, yet it's been weeks with zero response. Meanwhile, the fee continues to hang over you with no way to make it right. I've lived in West Seattle for years and recently moved back, and I had no idea these were the parking circumstances. The enforcement feels predatory, the communication is nonexistent, and the entire experience felt like a cash grab rather than legitimate parking management
