For a hand full of change I was able to clean " The Whites" here... Let's face it when your in need of cleaning your clothes you head to the nearest place with a machine. These pro machines really helped with the skid marks with industrial strength machines, plus a little bleach doesn't hurt. Nevertheless this place was great when I lacked a machine or had some nasty items to clean. Hopefully your Calvin's will come out as white as mine! read more

Stupid system that barely works. You have to basically pay $50 to wash and dry 3 machines. The app doesn't work properly and you have to feed the machine until it does. It's good for the owner of the business I suppose. But if you can go somewhere else and avoid this money laundering (literally) place, I would. read more

These d*mned machines use an ap and bluetooth connection. they dont start about 30% of the time after you've already put in detergent and funds. you top up your account, select the machine number, then "slide to pay." THEN NOTHING. No reaction. Or worse, it stops in the middle and shows an error code. Theres no one on the premises. No service number posted. All you can do is send an email from the ap. SCREW THIS PLACE. think you're saving time by not having to get rolls of quarters? Nope. I just spent 50$ to do 5 loads... and haven't even used the dryers yet. read more

Maybe I caught this place just after a thorough cleaning because my experience was totally different from what others have posted here. The floors were spotless, trash cans emptied and washing machines and dryers were relatively clean. The machines can be paid for with an app and also they take coins. The app wasn't super accurate as far as time, but the machines I used had my correct payments and times anyway. But other than washers and dryers they have no other amenities that I could see -- no detergent vending machines, no water fountain, no bathrooms, and not even paper towels to wipe other people's hair off the washing machine doors. But maybe the lack of amenities is why this place was nice and quiet when I was there. So bring everything you might need before you go. read more

I came here because all the machines in my building were in use, but in the future I will wait. Not only was it filthy, but over half the dryers were not working so I ended up having to wait as others were using working ones. One of the washers looked like the door was going to pop off as it was spinning someone else's clothes. I just don't get how a business can operate without working equipment. read more

When I first walked in I was annoyed that they had no one there and did not have the typical rolling carts that most laundry mats have on location. I am disabled and had to carry my laundry by hand in between washers and dryers and then out of the facility to my car. Then more trouble with my attempt to get quarters. The machine would not take my money. I finally figured out the technology and had to use money from a card in order to use the washers. There was no sign stating the machine was out of order.. little did I know this would be a problem with the dryer too. No sign, it just didn't work. I paid for a dryer 4 times that didn't work and had to move my laundry around a bunch of times to get it dry. I will not go there again because of the cart issue. I will say it was clean compared to other laundry mats I've been to in Seattle. I really miss Sit and Spin the old Seattle laundry Matt where you could play board games get a beer and some food while you did your laundry.Tech has completely taken over taking away jobs and fun away from actual humans and it's shameful. read more

If you're looking for the single worst laundromat in the universe, you've come to the right place!! Where do we begin? 1) a change machine that was out of order for 6 months, and caused businesses within a 5 mile radius to put up signs that said "no change for Olympic laundromat." 2) 70% of the machines are out of order at all times, and most don't have out of order signs, so they either eat up your money, or you waste your time unloading and reloading machines, until you find one that works. So if you want to save money on health club memberships, this is the place to go for a free workout. 3) if you're lucky enough to find a machine that works, you'll probably have to improvise. Three of the dryers that actually are miraculously working, had to be taped shut with industrial tape to keep them from opening, per the attached picture. 4) absolutely, positively not one phone number anywhere, on any machine, signs, or change machine, so there's no way to provide feedback to the owner or maintenance people. 5) the prices on the same size and type of speedqueen dryers are different for identical machines. So if someone got to the machines before you did, it will cost you twice as much for the same machine. 6) call the CDC!! The guys in the white hazmat suits should show up and take a few swabs, because there may be new life forms growing in this place, per the attached pictures. Soap and water would be a start, to take off the first two or three layers, but they likely need to find someone with a work ethic and industrial chemicals to clean this place up. This laundromat establishes a new definition of rich: "he's so rich he wont even take your money when you try to hand it to him." If this guys owns the place to launder money (pun intended), he's an embarrassment to money launderers everywhere, and should lose his membership in the cartel. As far as I can tell, this guy has so much money and is so bored, that when he gets up every day at noon, and looks out over the vast blue ocean from the veranda of his thousand acre waterfront Spanish colonial estate in Hawaii, he thinks of as many ways as he can to mess with those poor working folk who have to use public laundromats - and all just for a chuckle. If you believe in democracy, and your right to vote, I respectfully you vote with your feet, and walk on over to any other laundromat on the planet. I came here to do a few loads of laundry when my own washing machine was broken. I found that about a third of the machines are broken. There are no wheeled carts, and there is no vending machine for laundry detergent or dryer supplies. At the end of my washer cycle I found that the washer had not Spond the load, and it was completely dripping wet. I had to wash the load again in a different washing machine, for an additional $4.50. I then looked around for a number to call in case of problems with a machine or for customer service. Zero. Nothing. This is THE worst-case scenario for customer service. I also suspect it is illegal to run a business with no way to contact the owner. I will be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau. I will never come here again, and I urge anybody who wants to wash the clothes to do the same. Worst. Laundromat. Ever. read more

Never coming here again - seriously subpar establishment. Everything is dirty from the top of the machines to the floors (probably because there is no attendant), a third of the machines are 'Out of Order', it's sweltering hot (no a/c, opening windows, can't prop door), no dispensers (detergents or refreshments), no bathroom (go the Chevron down the street), no recycling bin, no courtesy magazines, street parking only, no customer help number to call with operating issues (like the FW2 machine not wringing out the clothes to keep them from dripping wet on transfer to dryer), no overhead music, no TV, no outlets to charge devices while you wait, no safety mallets to break open fire extinguishers, no community board, their open sign doesn't seem to work, and the cost isn't even that cheap (I calculated it would cost me $1200 a year to do my laundry here at 3-4 loads a week)! read more

Yelp reports closed, but not sure why. I was just there on April 14, 2014. I've had good experience there for years on a very occasional basis to clean oversize stuff or when I had a huge laundry backlog. Machines have worked as expected, and the place is clean and well lit. However, today I lost a few dollars in one of the jumbo/industrial size washers (which are now $5 / load). Halfway in to the coin insertion, it jammed and would accept no more coins or eject the last one. No one around to get help from, not expected, but no phone number anywhere in sight. Not a big deal, but I think its weird there is no one to call. That seems off-putting to me. Too bad, it has been a useful resource, but I guess I'll find another place. read more

Not very big but usually not very busy. The prices are pretty good but the place is usually just a little on the dirty side. It also seems that there are always at least a couple of washers or dryers that are "out of order." The coin machine is infuriating.
