Terrible customer service. They placed me on hold 10 times because the girl didn't know what to do while trying to look up an insurance card. Never made it to the visitation because I couldn't even get past the insurance because of the worker being lost. read more

Just finished with my eye exam at Revolution Eyes in Cinco Ranch. Great experience! Dr. Nguyen had a great attitude and is friendly, professional and thorough. She went into much detail when I would ask questions, but she was also conscious of my time and very efficient with the exam time. She is very easy to chat with about our families and life fun; but was ready to get down to business with my eye exam and my choice of frames. Her staff was friendly and helpful as well. I was a walk-in (no appointment) and it was the lunch hour. They delayed their lunch hour to accommodate me. Very service oriented. The facilities has a high-end feel to it with the latest and newest eye exam equipment. Designer frames to choose from among the many choices of frames. I highly recommend this place. read more

Easy to get in. Dr. Nguyen is wonderful! There is an optional test offered that is not covered by insurance. Seems it's the culprit for the few low reviews here. I didn't feel it was pushed on me and the cost was explained up front. read more

The Doctor and the receptionist were very nice, but I went in with my normal eye exam which is always covered by insurance. I was told that my insurance didn't cover refractory portion of my eye exam. I thought unusual but said go ahead and do it I need the glaucoma test anyway. The dr. Asked if I was interested in contacts and I said I have a hard time with them She was very nice and said she could get me a trial pair. I said ok sounds good. At check out it was 189. 00 I paid but went back and said I didn't think I should have been charged without being told first. The doctor had Jodie put the charge back on my card. I said you should UI ld say that it is not covered or it will cost x amount. I phoned my insurance and asked about my coverage and was told the entire checkup is covered and should not have been charged. My insurance lady called and Jodie put my charge back but I still had to pay out of pocket for the eye test? I came away feeling bad and now I don't want to do business there for glasses or contacts. My visit , if all is fixed will cost 60 .00 instead of normal 00 for check up. I won't be buying my glasses here nor will I go back. read more

This is a review for an older appointment, from 2014/2015. I felt compelled to write why I chose to find another optometrist and probably saved my eyesight along the way. LONG story: Since 2009 or so, my eyes would get tired after hours spent looking at laptop/pc. I went to check them and was told I have astigmatism in one eye, and a separation of viewing distance between eyes. I received a +.25 or so in lens and glasses in one eye. Over the years, nothing changed, but around 2014 I became tired again. Went to see Dr. Nguyen for intro, new patient etc went great. She was friendly but then told me I need to bump it up to +1.25 or so. WOW, I wasn't sure but agreed. She said, you will feel very uncomfortable for a while, but let your eyes adjust. Now comes the whining part: she led me out to the entrance and said you can pick a frame here. I already had my frames from 2009 and wasn't financially ok to spend 200 or so on another frame. I said no I'm fine. She really insisted that I can keep looking. I said ok, I'll take my time checking and thanks for help. She said I have to stay next to you while you look. Ok, that was just rude to me. While I probably didn't exude money and luxury I felt offended that I'm categorized to be babysat. I became upset and said no frames for me, thanks. She suddenly became sour and loudly told the receptionist, She's not going to buy anything today. Please check her out...and LEFT. I felt embarrassed but happy I wasn't pressured to buy. So I just paid for my new lens. I did try lens, for 6 months really tried wearing my glasses and contacts constantly and to me, I started having headaches and vision felt worse. I went back in 2015 and said, this isn't helping. She agreed and bumped it up to 1.5 or so. After 3 months I said enough, and went to someone else in Sugar Land. I told him this WHOLE story and he did a lot of eye tests and said: YOU DON'T NEED RX. Never did! I ( Ofc, initial optometrist in 2009 was wrong to start me on this path ) I have a far sighted eye and a near sighted which causes unbalance but none of the eyes need Rx. So I literally could have weakened my eyes, kept paying for constant 6 month RX increases if I would have stayed with Revolution Eyes. Please get 2nd opinions if you are ever insecure. It is your body after all and gut instincts are there for a reason. read more

This review is over 2 eye exam visits. I had a great experience both times. The staff at the front desk are very friendly, helpful, and efficient both on the phone as well as in-person. Dr. Nguyen remains the best! Very personable and genuinely interested in helping me. Still have a great selection of glasses...esp for a trendy gal like me. Overall I'm more than pleased with my experience at Revolution Eyes. I will definitely continue to see Dr. Nguyen for all of my eye care needs! read more

It was time for my annual eye exam and I decided to try a new optometrist. Even though I requested an appointment at the last minute and near closing time, Dr. Nguyen was very accommodating and I was seen immediately. The office was brand new and very clean and spacious. Dr. Nguyen wanted to switch me to a different brand of contacts, so she gave me samples to make sure that the contacts would feel comfortable. I later ordered my contact lenses through her and they arrived very promptly. I have no complaints and am very satisfied with the service. read more

Had a great time from beginning to end. Receptionist was nice and it was a beautiful area. Very clean. Doctor was nice and seemed to genuinely care about the questions she was asking. It's the only doctor I would actually enjoy going to! The glasses selection is fresh & fun. There was options explained to me I never even knew about in the past. I even broke my glasses once and came the next day to see if they could fix them - and the receptionist fixed them for me in 10 minutes. Saved the day! read more

I've been to optometrists for as long as I can remember. Some good, some bad (TSO in Cinco). Dr. Vi is the best. So down to earth, so knowledgeable, listens to you as a patient, friendly as can be. Even if I move out of the neighborhood I'm coming back here for my yearly checkups. In the past other doctors have overcharged me (I thought) for contacts. Her prices were cheaper than I could get online. They came in fast too. read more

Dr. Nguyen is great. She helped me understand during the exam what she was looking at in my eyes, and gave examples of what she was looking for (or hoping not to find). I had exams for my glasses and contacts. Dr. Nguyen was helpful with helping chose the better and more comfortable brand for my contacts. I did get glasses there too which I am very happy with (plenty of compliments). This place has a wide variety of brands and styles to choose from. If you found a style you liked, but not the color, they can look in the system to see what other colors are available. I called for a refill on my contacts, and received a call two days later that they were ready to be picked up. This place is quick and professional.
