DO NOT GO HERE SEEKING EMERGENCY CARE! their website is false. Woke up early with pain in my right eye. Felt like something in it . Tried flushing it to no avail. Went to their Katy/Cinco location and doors opened early. I explained my pain and it felt like something in my eye. I was told by the young lady at the front desk ,"no appts till 12:40". First impressions- this is a busy, clean facility. The staff is friendly. The display of glasses options are well organized if somewhat limited. I will note that the new customer form (on a tablet) is a little intrusive. You do not need to know the city/state/zip of where I was born, for example, to give a thorough eye examination. I had a fantastic experience... I went to see Dr. Haghighi to check my eyes, and to purchase two sets of eye-wear - A pair of regular prescription glasses as well as a pair of prescription sunglasses. Dr. Haghighi's assessment was nothing short of outstanding. The examination went very well and the prescription that I was provided is highly accurate and to my satisfaction. I can see the pattern on the bark of an oak tree 30 feet out without effort. His staff (specially Raquiba) also did very well. She took the time to explain my options and gave me enough space to make a selection. She was able to deliver my order of prescription sunglasses within 24 hours of my order! All together, I am very impressed with the Memorial Eye Center, Dr. Haghighi, and Raquiba for offering an expert assessment, first class service, and expedited delivery! read more

Bad service. The glasses I received are not good quality. The vision frames did not fit me. The office charged me $10 for a glasses readjustment, which I happily paid the office. The doctors in the office are good, but the front desk manager should be fired. read more

From the time I walked in every person was exceptional. Dr. Haghighi took me as an emergency patient on a Saturday and stayed on the phone until he found me a specialist to see the same day. He was truly amazing. My family will go no place else for our eye care needs. read more

Worst customer service!!! I have been taking my family and myself to Today's Vision for 14 years and they were wonderful!! Today's vision was replaced by Memorial Eye and the customer service suffered GREATLY!!! The front staff gave wrong contact lenses and then would not refund their error. Find another place!! Firstly, it feels like the text messenger for alerts is deceiving. Please specify to people that contacts and glasses come in at different times once ordered. A text notification for one means you have to come back for the other one. Several people in the waiting room had that problem that I noticed while waiting 30 minutes after my appointment time. I called ahead of time to be sure and came several days later when both my items had arrived. I feel bad for other people and an older gentleman who had to make the trip back because he was confused like the rest of us. The desk people are rude. Here is how my phone conversation went to clarify the shipment notification. They put you on hold right when you call and left my on hold 5 minutes. I hung up and called back and they answer and immediately say "hello please hold" like what? I had a quick question. Finally called again and a guy answers and goes "please hold" but pauses and I get a chance to say "I have a quick question" he goes "okay what" and I ask and he helps me. SO RUDE! Bad culture yall got there of staff. When checking out on day of appointment the woman was like "who got the money to pay for you?" and I was like "me I work." Like what? Who talks to customers spending $1200 like that. So rude I can't believe it KATY. It feels like a scam to pay so much for such a shitty experience and scratch-able disposable product. I sit behind the desk all day too, at the psych ward. And I never talk to people this rude. My customers don't even pay. Fix it yall! read more

Stay away if you want your eyeglass prescription filled accurately and quality lens. Have been waiting 10 weeks for a simple bi-focal prescription in new frames. Sub standard material must also be used since lenses become cloudy within 1 year. read more

My family and I have been patients for many years with Memorial Eye Center and before that it was Today's Vision. This last time when I went, I got the wrong prescription for my contacts. I used one pair out of each box. When I called to let them know, they said there was nothing they could do. They told me I could donate the rest of my contacts. I paid over $300 dollars for them. I did talk to someone else and she said she would give me trial pairs to make up the difference but never came through with that. I was very disappointed and will never go back. I agree, with one of the reviews, they do not care about their patients and they do have very poor customer service. read more

The doctor is wonderful, however the front desk "Hen"- I'm refraining here- is a demeaning, curt, and arrogant person who is not interested in helping the patient, but in getting the patient out of her way, so she can carry on with whatever it is she was doing. I wasted an hour and wasn't able to be seen due to her informing me that I wasn't covered. She didn't offer suggestions to finding the actual information she needed. No one called me during the 2 week period between when the appt was made and the date of appt. If I hadn't called my provider myself she would have been satisfied with me leaving, after being ridiculed by her in front of the staff and several other patients. Karen has lost a family of 6-INSURED patients for this practice because she arrived to work on a not so attractive high-horse today. read more

I set an appointment after discussing with your support regarding the mask requirements. I was told that they are not required. I got to my appointment and was told a mask was required. So I canceled the appointment. This mask requirement is ridiculous. On the NIH website the Stanford study found that masks do nothing to stop the spread of covid. Plus it's been 2 years. My family and I have been coming here for a while now. Everyone has always been very friendly and very helpful. I wear contacts and my kids wear glasses. The glasses are great quality and when I needed tightening for my daughter's glasses they did it on the spot and I only waited 5 minutes. I would highly recommend this business--I'm not sure why there are such bad reviews. read more

I thought it was going to great as a new patient I was treated very well. The lady that runs the front is ok. But supporting staff seemed like they are not happy to be there. I did like the two Drs I met.. I transferred my daughters last exam from her Dr. But for over a week I've been calling. The phone just rings. No answer, no VM, no answering service. I gave up and tried to order the contacts on line. Never got a response that the order was received So I went in person this morning,(covid 19 mask in hand). Was met at the front door and not let in. Excuse given as to why I never get thru. So while I waited outside to place or confirm an order I left, went to the old dr ordered the contacts sent my info to them too. I will use a different dr and company. Probably only treats new customers well. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The manager there does not know how to speak to customers and is clearly not worried about losing customers. I was referred to this location by another location of theirs where they were able to provide me with all the information I needed. When I called the Cinco location, I was told by KIMIA that they would not provide me with any pricing until I pay. She then told me to contact the VSP customer service number. When I asked for the phone number, she said she didn't know it, then she told me she was too busy and had too many patients to give me that information. She also, gave me two fake phone numbers when I asked for corporates number. I have been going to Memorial eye for 15 plus years, I have never experienced such poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and find another place, they do not care about their customers. read more

Went in for a medical issue with my eye. The girls at the front desk were very nice and professional. The optometrist that I met with was very kind and reassuring that my issue could be resolved with a less invasive procedure than I thought I would have to have. I've been a patient for several years and am pretty shocked about the negative reviews. I've always been treated like family. The doctors are outstanding. The person who verifies insurance has always been helpful, understanding, and an advocate. Kimia and all other front office staff have been super helpful, patient, and provide stellar customer service. I'm so grateful that I'm a patient at this office. read more
