Great informative ride with Alex. He took good care of us, making sure there were no stragglers. He clearly knows the area well and shared his knowledge. Thank you Alex! read more

Friendly customer service! Gio assisted us with two bikes for our children. He built our daughter's bike to her height. Trek's are our favorite bikes. read more

Revolution Bicycles - 20 & 16 upgraded from 12 - Bikes Near Me - Eureka, California

Beware .... I had a brand new bike taken apart and shipped from this location. When I received my bike it was obvious whoever took the bike apart and packaged everything had no experience and no idea of what they were doing. My bike was damaged, I was missing parts and there was barley any packing material used inside the box to keep things safe and secure. My only hope is this does not happen to someone else. read more

First time visiting the area we dropped off at the bike store for some cycling gloves. Of course we came out with a few more items. The staff were friendly and very helpful especially when they gave information about clubs and trails in the area. read more

Was traveling through, and needed a quick repair done, they looked after the issue right away, and sent my happily on my way. Appreciated the quick service. read more

I used to have this business do all my bike work. I ride often and repairs were needed and they are located close to my home. I used to be a fan and said good things about them to other riders. Then the staff changed and they hired people with even even less human skills than your typical already weird bike mechanic type. I quickly learned not to expect friendly or responsive service. I cannot recommend them and our little City needs more bike services available. They have failed and I expect their doors will close permanently. read more

Will, the owner, is a fair businessman, and has the knowledge that will help you in determining the right bike for yourself. He is also fun to bargain with. While everything is marked (usually at or near MSRP) don't be afraid to ask for a deal ~ sometimes it works! As far as the shop: It is clean as its supposed to be, the staff are all mucho savvy about accessories, repair, and bike data in general. They are very efficient in getting any repair or modification done at a fair price, and in an appropriate time frame. NOTE: When you buy a new bike from the Henderson Center Bike Shop you get free lifetime servicing, which is a very nice component of a full service store, reminiscent of the quality and care you used to get. (aahhhhh The Way It Was!) AND, while you wait for your bike to be serviced, and after your through browsing, you can slip next door to the Vellutini Baking Co for a latte and a scone. The Henderson Center Bike Shop gets my highly sought after FIVE STAR rating. Go there, buy a bike, or take yours in for servicing, and you will see why! PS ... Don't play poker with Will. read more

Without going into the details of how much business and how much money yours truly spent at this establishment in the pursuit of excellence of appearance of a classic bicycle {well over $ 100.00 on bicycle ACCESORIES}, this fine establishment offers a cold-attitude reception. While the required services are EVENTUALLY provided, and the OBVIOUSLY PERFECT accessories are EVENTUALLY ordered, same is performed in a manner that has come to describe members of the Millennial Generation: egoistical, uncivil, "silently dark," cold, and unfriendly. As if they are "reluctant participants," or "unwilling warriors." Just saying :) :) Otherwise, mechanically very competent! :) :) read more

Went in today to purchase a new bike. Came in the shop with my old beach cruiser and bike trailer with my kids in the trailer. Began speaking with Nick about purchasing a new bike that would be better for pulling the kids in the trailer. Nick was super cool and very helpful. read more

Excellent shop. Just bought a new Trek District 8 that was recommended by one of the employees. I specifically was looking for an independent local shop and I'm glad I found it. Also I must mention that I can be a difficult customer at times and they handled it with finesse and kept me mellow. So if you think of buying a bike from a chain store, spend the extra money at this shop, which is well worth it. You'll get a better quality bike with up to date components, free tune ups and great service. read more

Brought in an old 80's Trek road bike and they fixed it up with no appointment in just a few days and a lot of work was done. They were very communicative and friendly through the whole process. Didn't pressure me into getting anything unnecessary but let me know all of my options. It turned out perfect and they explained everything with great detail and transparency. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The kind of local business to support. Thanks guys! Will return. read more

Stopped in for some last minute repair parts prior to a ride down to SF. Very helpful, very friendly, and highly recommended. read more

I stopped in just to see what they had. I am clueless to what I want for a bike. A very nice woman listened to everything I had to say, made some suggestions gave me a brochure marked the ones we talked about. I never felt pressured, or stupid. She also took the time to explain their layaway policy should I want to take advantage of it. She seemed very knowledgeable, and relaxed, not like hurry up your wasting my time, or OMG your stupid. When I decide to plunk my hard earned cash down for a bike this will be the place that gets it! read more

this is the only bike shop for me. these guys are serious and super helpful. I've been a customer at several shops in arcata and they are not nearly as helpful and real. they all ride. this shop is the best in the area by far! great prices... tons of accessories! love this shop...and they sell USED BIKES!!! no one else does that! read more

These guys a professional, knowledgable and all around helpful, I always get a good vibe in the store and receive great costumer service. DISREGARD Greg E. his 2 stars are bull, just because they can't be open to please his schedule doesn't mean they are a 2 star business. read more

They're now Revolution Eureka, although most of the original staff remain. And while said employees are still the same friendly and helpful people as ever, I'm unfortunately going to have to knock a star off for the new owners doing away with free tune-ups for anyone who previously bought a bike there. read more

Great service. Broke my shifter in the middle of a road trip and they had the part and replaced it within 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

My kids and I went to the shop to get their tires checked as they were all though and I wasn't sure if the tube with flat or what was going on. The guys were super helpful and friendly and instead of trying to up sell me into buying new tubes just waited the tires to the right pressure. Then they helped me install the new bike rack for a car which is super awesome!! And then to top it off, the battery in my car died and then they help jump my car lol would totally recommend them read more

We were traveling through in need of help after six flat tires within two days. They hooked us up and sent us on our way with no more flats for us. The service was impeccable and they shared tips for changing our own tires and also gave a few recommendations for where we were headed. Thanks, Henderson's. You were awesome. read more

Just bought my 3rd bike here over many years. This latest purchase was by far the most significant as I finally got one for myself and not my kids! Bought a Trek mountain bike. Got great suggestions and advice from them. I went home, did my due diligence by researching their suggestions and visiting other shops. Returned to Henderson Center bicycles and ordered my new bike. Very happy with price, set up and delivery as well as follow up service. I highly recommend!! read more

Henderson Center Bicycles is not only the best the local bike shop, but is simply the best bike shop I have ever had the pleasure to experience. After Adventure Cycle botched a repair of my rear axle on a father-daughter tour of the West coast, we had to hitch-hike back to town after getting stranded 50 miles South with the next bike shop days away. The next day Henderson Center Bicycles rebuilt the axel better then new. They let us stand behind the counter and watch the whole process. We also asked a ton of questions and ended up having really wonderful conversation with the three mechanics on staff..the kind of thing where you know their kid's name and they've let you play with all the tools on their bench. Will Spurling, the guy who runs the joint, is one of the best mechanics I've ever had the pleasure to work with: patient, methodical, and with great love for his work. ***Touring Folks***: Highly recommend this place. They are very thorough, friendly, and competent in both old school and high tech repair (saw them working on some pretty spiffy bikes while I was in there). They are also located next to an AWESOME bakery. You know you want the calories... In the words of my father: "I have ridden for 45 years and completed 8 major bike tours and Henderson Center Bicycles is the best bike shop I have ever experienced. Hands down." 'Nuff said, Dad. read more
