I hired a personal trainer at the beginning of March, shortly before COVID-19 shelter in place began. All my workouts have been taking place at home since the gyms are closed. I had always thought of Sport and Cycle as primarily a bike shop and a place for athletic teams to make custom shirts. I hadn't been in there for a while. I needed a jump rope for some of my workouts, and I sent an email on a Friday evening after hours asking if they sold jump ropes. I got a surprisingly quick response that yes, they did. The next day we went in, and I was able to find a jump rope for $6.99. Much cheaper than the $30 ones I had been viewing on Amazon! Staff was friendly and helpful, there were lots of clearance items, and I was surprised at the array of items they had in stock. Everything from Nike and Under Armour sportswear to camping gear and fishing bait. It was a good reminder that I don't have to drive north for sporting goods!

Used part....tried to replace my original part with this piece....can't even fully read companys name also turned out to be faulty!...

i didn't see eye-to-eye with Gravy on some minor points, but have to say after 5 years of riding…read morethem that the wheels Gravy built for me are still perfectly in true and in round and the absolute best riding set i have ever had. i'm no featherweight, and i've had many other wheels built by professional wheel-builders, Tour de France mechanics, and wizards of all kinds. even compared to other wheels i have using the same hubs and rims as my Gravy set, my Gravy wheels stand above the rest, deserving of all those over-used superlatives you always hear; they are laterally rigid and still seemingly magically more supple through road surface irregularities than any i have experienced. i don't know if it's because of the spoke tension, or his practice of truing again a final time after letting them sit at tension overnight or something else, but whatever it is he's doing, it works. the things that i thought odd (aligning the valve hole opposite the hub label instead of so the hub label is viewable through the valve hole, lacing the rear hub outer-pull with the front hub mismatched as inner-pull, and using a contrasting-color nipple next to the valve) all don't seem to have detracted from the primary function of the wheels at all. Gravy's not the quickest or the least expensive, but seemed to be honest about everything we discussed and in my mind was worth every penny. GravyWheels will be my first choice for my next wheel build, and gets my highest recommendation.

Just try to stump him with the weird sound your bike makes. Gravy can diagnose and fix any issue…read moreyou bike gives you, getting you right back on the road. Pleasant to talk to, he was a real life saver when my chain was skipping gears. Couldn't have climbed those coastal rollers without his fix!
