Your run-of-the-mill running store - sorry, I had to do it - Jogg'n Shoppe does a great job in providing customers with an all-encompassing running shoe experience. With great customer service and product literally packed to the ceiling, it's hard to walk out of here even the slightest bit unhappy. Mike, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and is genuinely a great guy. If you're looking for a much needed new pair of running shoes or simply in need of a great time, then this is the place for you. Give the place a look! read more

Nice place and the dude there is helpful. It's the place to get some shoes in Arcata and the extra you pay is for the help and to try stuff on in person. I got some nice ones that make me run. Beats going to the haunted bay front mall read more

Was recommended from a different store can't remember which it was a while ago, I find the idea of working out and shopping overwhelming but Mike made the experience so profound and simple I'm going to remember it for the rest of my life. Thank you for supporting me on my journey! Your kindness made all the difference for me at that time in my life. He helped me select simple, sleek, but comfortable running shoes for less than I was expecting. Thank you Mike!! Went on a run today and thought of you, hope you're doing well. read more

I live in San Diego and call Mike for my shoes after buying a pair from him while working in Humboldt. There is no place better in all of California. Fit, price, personal service. Have had my eye on a pair of Nike Pegasus shoes forever, holidays over and could finally treat myself. While the exact pair I was looking for went out of style with the turn of season, Mike and my husband conspired to find the next perfect pair. Mike is the shoe guy, can talk fit, style, and function. Plus supporting small business is always a win. Can't wait to break this pair in and can't recommend the Jogg'n Shoppe highly enough. read more

I visited yesterday and didn't really know what I wanted. I shared the price point I was looking for and what use I was hoping to get out of my shoes and they made a (spot on) recommendation. My old shoes were long overdue for being replaced and after weeks of my feet/legs hurting I wore my new shoes yesterday and it made a world of a difference! The prices are SO fair (beating even amazon) and the customer service is unbeatable! Support local! Thank you Jogg'n Shoppe for all your help - love my new Nike Pegasus! read more

Really great store. They often give me a good deal just because they appreciate the value of local shopping. They also stock the best quality shoes of each brand - not the shoes you find at the cheaper big box stores, and they still have great prices. Always courteous and helpful...can't say enough good things about this store and its owner! read more
