We walked in and were welcomed and brought in for a nice relaxing experience. I got the prenatal message by Tessa, she has the hands of an angel - amazing massage! My mother in law didn't love hers as much as I did, but she enjoyed it overall (hers was a male masseuse), but our friend agreed her scrub was fantastic. If we are in the area again, I will be back for a massage! The only downside to this spa is it doesn't have your typical spa amenities, I wouldn't take off stars for it but it would be nice if it had a dipping pool, sauna room or something additional to set the mood. On property is the Canyon Kitchen, which was closed for an event but we really wanted to sit out back for an appetizer and enjoy the beautiful views from the property.

I had to lay on my side for the massage. I only brought $100 in cash because I thought the total would be $70. So when they said $100, I tipped on my card after paying the rest in cash. They asked how much I wanted to tip and I said $15. So they typed in $16 on the machine and said "$1 for using card". Kind of ridiculous to do when it's a tip. Especially after being overcharged by $30. For a discounted place ($70 for 60 minutes), it's worth it. But when they charge the same as the nicest spas in the area for pregnant people, totally not worth it. Go somewhere nicer. I left feeling scammed and taken advantage of.

Hence I needed a gift certificate that would never expire. I was told no problems they would always honor the certificate. My wife went to schedule an appointment and was told that it must have expired because they had no record of it. I called the Spa to discuss, I was told that all their gift certificates expire after a year and this is written on them and sorry but too bad. I am not stupid and would never have bought a certificate if it would expire.. so be very careful if you buy a gift certificate...they want you to let it expire and the expired $ value goes to their bottom line as a profit
