Buddy and River are a delightful pair and Buddy works wonders on you. The salon has such a homey feel and you feel comfortable immediatelty after entering. Buddy was very accomodating and we felt as though we were visiting an old friend. A massage was an excellent way to get the full relaxation affect of the mountains. Next year, we will be back. If you're ever in the Cashiers area, make the trip a few miles down the road. It's so well worth it.

I went in with high expectations, but my nail tech, Amy, was not good. I was having my nails done…read morewith dipping powder and on three of my nails, she managed to glob on the powder. I have this process done every three weeks at my regular salon in another state so I know what it should be like. She tried to file down the globs, but they were still visible with lines underneath the final coat. She also managed to get glue on several of my fingers and a cut on my thumb. I should've complained, but I just wanted to get out of there. I had a pedicure there last week which was OK, but this salon does not even use the liners in the foot basin and the cleaning that I noticed was not very good. Overall, the salon is not very clean, the nail stations are dirty, and I would never go back.

I said for her to stop and told them I was leaving and would not finish and would pay for the pedicure. Then he charged me $80.00 for a pedicure that was really the worse I have ever had. If I could give this place less than 0 star I would. I had to go to Cashiers and get four tips because she ruined my nails. I recommend going to Cashiers if you need your nails done. Highlands definitely need a decent nails spa!
