Joseph & Ginny (the owners), Anna, & their staff are absolute delights! Not only are they meticulous and thorough but they are extremely efficient, making each cistomer feel important while also performing their duties with swift efficiency. Joseph is a true Artist. If you ask, he will use his talent to hand paint an original one of a kind piece on your nails. The salon is super clean, roomy, & up to date. I found them when I came to town to care for my Dad who had fallen. When he fell in April, I was still using a walker for short distances & a wheel chair for longer ones after a 4 year disabling illness. While Dad was in the rehab facility, I needed a pedicure. I did not know many women in town to ask for a reference, so I went off of reviews & photos, & ended up at Vivid Nails. They were so patient with me on my walker when I was so very slow, kind, & gentle. They have 2 chairs specifically for the disabled, with large spaces between for medical needs (walkers, wheel chairs, special medical supplies, et.) I met Ginny (sp?) for the 1st time & truly enjoyed the conversation as she told me about he life, her experiences, her heritage, & (true) accupunture performed in her family & by old friends. When my 77 yr old Dad was brought home from rehab, he needed his toenails cut since it was so much more difficult for him after the fall. Vivid Nails was the most obvious solution! Like most manly men, he had never had a pedicure before. They welcomed him with open arms, assisted him with getting in and out of the chair, and chatted, making friends, and swapped turns showing each other the photos on their phones. He left feeling very comfortable & has not only said, "We need a pedicure appt.", but also recommended them to his older manly friends. Make an appointment, they get very, very busy. Their customers are there for a reason. You may have to wait, as they are meticulous and detailed with every client & take the time they need to make them happy - and, for me, that's a sure sign that both you and I will be treated the same way. I requested a pedicure with wax treatment. My pedicure was not performed in the manner I am accustomed. As it turns out the "new guy" was my manicurist and he polished my toenails with a polish that refuses to dry. Two hours and $45 + tip later and my nails are a horrible mess. While the owners are lovely people this is 2nd visit where I made an appt but still waited 30-45 min for service. Once your feet are in the tub it's hard to walk out but if you have a busy day it's best to ask when you get there to see how long it will take. Great experience here. My friend and I had appts booked for pedicures before our girls trip to the beach. Technicians were great. I was actually in here when Laura D came in as a walk in. She was not in here for 10 minutes and they told her they couldn't do walk ins right now because they didn't have time. They only have 3 techs and they had our 2 appts already and 1 walk in came in before she got here. They were honest with her about not being able to get her in. I went in at 1:15pm. There were 3 techs and 3 customers. They asked me what service I was there for a and I said pedicure. There was no mention of needing an appointment nor does it say "no walk-ins" on the door. After sitting there for 10 minutes they told me they could not do a pedicure because they were "booked" there was literally NOBODY waiting. Terrible customer service and too many other salons in town for this type of treatment. Can't wait until this place closes and a new group comes in. read more

I've been coming to vivid nails for over two years now. I've never had a problem with walk-in's or appointments. They are always busy and try to accommodate. They do great work in any service they provide. I mostly get pedicures, manicures and wax services. I was sitting there in the middle of a pedicure and they had a rude lady come in. Unfortunately, today they could not accommodate a walk-in due to their busy schedule and let the lady know. However, she felt it necessary to be blatantly rude and berate them which was uncalled for. As she sat out in the parking lot to write her bad review, the appointments walked in the door to wait for their appointment. some walk-ins came in but but got turned away and they were not rude about this. This is my go to place. I always get what I ask for and great quality. Only complaint is even when I make an appointment I have to wait 20-30 minutes so I'm just sitting their awkwardly. Which can get annoying if I've planned out my day and it gets 30-an hour later even with an appointment and this has happened the past 3 months straight. But I do always like what they do. read more

I have had SNS dip nails for many many years, since they first came onto the nail market. Joseph did my nails yesterday and my nails have NEVER looked better. It was so very clear that he cared about giving me the shape and look that I wanted. He succeeded 100%. The only thing I am annoyed about is that it took me this long to find him!!!! Overpriced, mediocre service, no communication. My daughter and I walked in at opening on a Saturday morning. Needing a full set for my daughter and mani/pedi for myself I asked if that was possible? The woman said yes have a seat. They started my daughter's full set almost immediately and did a great job. I waited for my turn about 40 min when another employee came in. He asked how he could help so I responded I'm waiting for a pedicure and manicure he said ok. About 5 min later he started my manicure. When I was done he told me to have a seat. After about 15 min the woman went and got him and I j guess asked what we were waiting for, I again said just waiting for a pedicure. The woman began talking to the man and finally said no we can't do. I would have come another time if she was busy, or even been ok with her saying no at the beginning. Franklin really needed a fresh, new place for customers to get nail services. The owners are so friendly, and all the equipment is new. So nice. I had limited time to get both a mani and pedi and lucky for me they weren't busy. Both owners did my service so I was able to make it to another appointment on time.
