We booked a couples massage at Fusion Spa & Wellness during a long weekend getaway, and it was hands down one of the best experiences we've had. My boyfriend is a hardworking blue-collar guy who deals with severe back pain on a daily basis. I sit at a desk for long hours and struggle with constant sciatica pain. I've been telling him for so long how much better he'd feel if he got regular massages -- and after four sessions together (one amazing, two subpar elsewhere), we finally found the gold standard. The dressing area was spotless and thoughtfully designed, complete with lockers, private changing areas, bathrooms, and the most magnificent steam shower I've ever taken. There's also a sauna that made the whole experience feel like a full retreat, not just a massage appointment. Fusion Spa & Wellness exceeded our expectations in every way. Several years ago I bought a gift certificate for my wife at this Spa. I communicated that my wife gets up here every now and again because we live in Florida and this is a second home. Hence I needed a gift certificate that would never expire. I was told no problems they would always honor the certificate. My wife went to schedule an appointment and was told that it must have expired because they had no record of it. I called the Spa to discuss, I was told that all their gift certificates expire after a year and this is written on them and sorry but too bad. I am not stupid and would never have bought a certificate if it would expire.. so be very careful if you buy a gift certificate...they want you to let it expire and the expired $ value goes to their bottom line as a profit read more

Staff is very professional. The spa is very relaxing and has every little detail taken into account from the soft robes and slippers, to the heated massage tables! I always request a deep tissue massage as I carry most of my stress in my back and shoulders. The hot stones massage is awesome too and can be added on. read more

The location is great with lots of parking. The interior is beautiful, calming, clean and luxurious. The massage therapists are average. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The robes provided are clean and comfy. My complaint this year was that once you flip to your back they take the headrest cover off and place it over your eyes. This was very strange and uncomfortable. I had no clue what was actually on my face until the session was over. A warm wet towel would have been better or nothing at all. My husband remarked that he had the same experience. The slippers are not comfortable either and I would size down as they are too large or better yet take your own. Also, ask about Specials. Wonderful! My husband gifted me with a Fusions Spa gift card for Mother's Day. Due to work 8!wasn't able to use it until September. Well, let me tell you, this is a great place to get a good soothing massage. I have had relaxation massages with Elizabeth and she is simply awesome. Fusions Spa is everything I would expect a high end spa to be. The space is relaxing and beautiful. Everything seems to be geared towards the most luxurious experience by the customer. The robe enveloped me in softness; the ambiance is just fantastic. I've never really been to a spa before or done the "massage thing," but my aggravation of an old knee injury plus my quest to relax my tinnitus by also relaxing my mind and body has led me to something that was previously foreign to me - self care. There are a lot of services offered at Fusions and I didn't really take advantage of any of those but, I believe, after a massage, there is an option to sit and continue the relaxation in a sauna. Fusions offers a membership that I'm strongly considering. I had a 90 deep tissue massage and I can say that 90 minutes never flew by so quickly! I felt pretty incredible at the end of that session and one item the massage therapist recommended and used during my treatment was CBD. They sell a jar of Clinical Strength CBD (there is a lower strength version also available), but this stuff is actually worth the $90 I spent on the jar. It's amazing how efficacious this is! I just had the best massage from Madelyn! I added on the heat treatment for hands and feet. Let me tell you, I have psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia, and this helped immensely! This spa & massage clinic is excellent! The expression "you get what you pay for " applies to Fusion Spa. The workers are professional and courteous. The layout of the spa is beautiful and well designed. I went for a 1 hr deep tissue massage and it was very good. I'd give it an 8 out of 10. The spa experience was very relaxing. After my massage, I enjoyed their dry sauna. They also have stretching machines and a nice locker room. The only flaw, if you want to call it that is they are quite pricey but as I said earlier, "you get what you pay for". If their prices were more reasonable, I would have given them 5 stars. New facility is gorgeous! I had a wonderful massage with Matthew and fun shopping with MaryRita! I was totally relaxed by the atmosphere before going in to the massage. Then Matthew focused on my tight muscles and I feel like a new person. MaryRita helped me find a gift for my daughter and then she outfitted me in a new dress with flattering layers! For a grand finale she sold me two super soft, comfy pairs of slacks! All very reasonably priced. Going back next time I'm in town. Prior paragraph was from 2 visits ago. I have been going to this spa for massage and wellness for about 9 months. I had scheduled a double massage for myself and my partner, who lives out of state at the moment. I informed the scheduling attendant of this and I was told that I would be notified if this was a problem. The attendant then scheduled me for the wrong day (one week ahead of my birthday), the spa charged me $200 for not showing up on the day that WASN'T scheduled. I showed up the following Saturday at my appointment time and was told that I had missed my appointment and they agreed to reschedule it for later that day. THEN, they called me to tell me they would still charge me for the session for that day, even though they charged me for a no-show that was a scheduling error on their part. When they realized I wasn't having it, they then informed me that I shouldn't have been scheduled anyway because my partner was from out of state. Fusions stole money from me and I will be contacting my bank to dispute the charge. I would choose a different wellness or spa considering they don't like taking accountability and refuse to refund me my money for their mistake. read more

Vacationed in Franklin and our group wanted a day at a spa. Booked a 60 minute with Sue wish it was 90! Best massage I ever had. MaryRita at front was very accommodating to help our party of 5 work a fun day. Only complaint is that they didn't have their foot spa services open when we were there. She's gentle and calm yet thorough and professional. Very easy to talk to, makes the process go so quickly! And MaryRita does the best spray tan! She's perfected it to have excellent coverage yet gets it done in a fraction of the time. She is very good at her job and SO personable. I've never been to a place that sends a hand-written, personalized thank you card but she did and that was beyond thoughtful. Brought a smile to my face! I booked a massage at Fusions spa because I was tired of having to travel to Asheville or Highlands to have a spa treatment. I came into to town from Los Angeles to visit my sister in the Smokies. I had wanted to treat her to a massage, but we were winging our plans pending weather conditions. We were unable to book until the day before and did not know what to expect. We were so pleasantly surprised. The spa has such ambience and offers a soothing and appealing atmosphere. We were ushered into a spacious waiting area and greeted with a foot massage while we filled out paperwork inquiring about our problems areas. Sue was my masseuse. The vaguely pretentious vibe and high pricing at the spa's new location really put me off--I felt very comfortable at the old place. The new one has a level of ostentation that implies its goal clientele is nouveau riche women and women who wish they were Kim Kardashian. That's fair, I suppose, but not for me. However, I got a wonderful massage with Kristin there. She is amazing. Their online booking system for packages and other tiddlywinks isn't user-friendly, especially on smart phones. To use any of the lounge areas, you have to book a service of an hour or more. I'm sure the site said that somewhere, but I overlooked it and was irritated that the $50 for 30 minute massage price tag didn't include the option to sit in the spa for a little bit. read more
