I feel so loose and relaxed after coming here. Great service and very clean space. I was super comfortable the entire time and the guy at the counter was also super nice and easy to book our appointment and ask questions via email with quick responses. Great all around and highly recommend coming here! Tip: if it's warm enough and not raining the Creekside room is amazing (it's a $25 addition but I've heard it's well worth it) it was too chilly when we went but they were very flexible to change to a regular room so we didn't get rained on or freeze

DJ and Ashley are the principal therapists and owners of family run Somatic Healing. Both my…read morehusband and I booked sessions with DJ because of our schedules. As a former professional athlete I've had 100's of deep tissue massages and DJ ranks at the top! He is well versed in the structure and musculature of the body and his instincts and techniques addressed my issues perfectly. He can literally "see with his hands" noting where the tension is located and easing it without any guidance from me. I personally am always interested in how the muscles attach and fan out to joints in the body and DJ offered excellent explanations that helped me understand what was going on and why an area might be impacted even though it wasn't the location of my discomfort. He is a true asset in our town of Waynesville and I'm thrilled to have found truly effective treatment in massage and beyond. Their scope of services is broader than massage and definitely worth exploring. Don't hesitate to book an appointment here! Even my husband who is a massage newbie was impressed (and greatly improved) with the treatment he received for shoulder weakness and pain. We've already booked our next appointment and are putting visits to Somatic on our monthly calendar. Go! You're going to love it!
