We've found our mountain home away from home!! I'm so happy to have found this place. It's exactly what I was looking for. We were in awe driving in. There's parking in front of the inn for maybe 8 cars which is plenty since there aren't many rooms here. We got in around 8pm on a Friday evening. TJ, the owner that lives at the inn, met us and showed us to our room, The Fireside. It was roomy enough for the three of us. We drove around the corner for dinner but should have walked since it was literally just around the corner. We didn't realize how close shopping and restaurants were. We talked with other guests and enjoyed marshmallows by the fire-pit after dinner. One other guest, a 12 year old young man was having a blast roasting marshmallows in his engineered marshmallow oven (Great place for kids by the way). It felt like we were staying with friends. After dinner and fire pit, my son and I sat on the patio for a while and Ivory, the inn pup came over to greet us and get a few belly rubs. Sweet, sweet dog. The grounds are nicely kept with beautiful landscaping. The lower rooms have their own patio sitting areas and the upper levels have a deck. There's also a deck by the river with tables and chairs, and benches throughout the length of the property by the river as well. The river was really rolling since we've had so much rain. So relaxing. In our room there was a larger than mini but smaller than full size fridge, microwave and coffee maker as well as utensils and dishes. Everything was clean and organized. Bed was comfy and my son said the sofa bed was cozy. We woke up early and enjoyed coffee and muffins from our room out by the river. We watched the morning fog fade away with the sunrise. As another yelper said, it's easy to relax and destress here. We can't wait to return to The Dillsboro Inn. Thank you TJ for having us!

What a gem! We stumbled upon this property while driving from Miami to New York as the wife doesn't like flying. Terry and TJ were the perfect hosts and went beyond nice offering information about the area and our road trip. The room was special with timber furniture and a lovely gas fireplace. The bed was great and the sheets extremely clean and inviting - a must for a good stay! The setting on the river was so picturesque and calming. Would definitely be back here when we in the states again.

I can't emphasize enough how magical this place was -- a hidden gem! TJ was so nice and accommodated us last minute. He sets up a fire every night and provides you with stuff to make s'mores. I will definitely be going back. It was so peaceful and in a great location.

I can't stop smiling. I'm here for a quick weekend getaway. We arrived later than we planned, but T.J. was amazingly accommodating even though we pulled in around 10:30pm. He met us in the driveway and showed us around our room - he seems like a great gentleman. The Fireside Room is a gorgeous one bedroom/one bath room with a nice sitting area and a fireplace; they called it their efficiency but with a nearly full sized fridge and a microwave and the larger-than-expected bathroom, it's the size of a nice hotel room. The room appears new - the floor to ceiling wood walls are gorgeous, and the tile work is nice as well. There are screen doors as well as a portable A/C unit with a remote - genius! But keep the screen doors open because you can hear the waterfall from the bed . I can't wait for the nightly bonfire tomorrow when we can enjoy it, although there were other guests gathered around it as we arrived. Now, this isn't a bed and breakfast, so there are only coffee and light snacks available in the room for breakfast. But there are cute restaurants in town, which are all within walking distance. Looking forward to a dip in the river and a soak in the hot tub as well. I can't think of anything that would make this place better.

The Dillsboro Inn is nothing short of magical. My husband, two children and I came in to town for a funeral. When we pulled in we were stunned. This Inn is serenity to the max. The Owner, TJ, greeted us along with his two sweet pups and cat. My son and TJ's dog, Ivory, quickly became the best of buds, following each other everywhere. TJ stroke up great conversation and had us laughing instantly, which we greatly needed. We were shown our "suite" (I say this with quotes because this really feels like you have your own home) and were so surprised. We stayed in The Whitesound. It has a private patio overlooking the beautiful river and a fire pit, which TJ provided a campfire for all of us later on that evening. We were given a tour around the rest of the Inn and were amazed by the love and care took into the grounds and each suite. I've stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels, but I would pick this over any of those any day. Not only would I rather put money into a local establishment, but this exceeds every expectation when it comes to comfort, view and all around peace of mind. Thank you, TJ, for such an exceptional stay and we look forward to returning next month!

We found this place when we were driving through looking for a place to stay and I'm SO happy we did! It is so beautiful right on the river and gives off such positive vibes, plus it's a short walk away from town. After the good convo by the fire, some music and a soak in the hot tub right beside the river, we all slept like a baby! HIGHLY recommend!!

We stayed with TJ and Terry at their wonderful inn. They were the best hosts we have ever had! They went above and beyond in every way and made sure my Father had a truly unforgettable Father's Day. The location is perfect with everything you could need to forget about the stresses of every day life. I would highly recommend anyone come stay with them and will be returning for many years to come!

    Beautiful view from Dillsboro Inn!

Not a great experience. Innkeeper not very cordial. Did not make us feel welcomed. His wife is lovely. He is very curt and a smart mouth.

My boyfriend is a hardworking blue-collar guy who deals with severe back pain on a daily basis. I sit at a desk for long hours and struggle with constant sciatica pain. I've been telling him for so long how much better he'd feel if he got regular massages -- and after four sessions together (one amazing, two subpar elsewhere), we finally found the gold standard. Andrew worked on my boyfriend, and I am not exaggerating when I say he was walking upright again afterward. He said he felt 20 years younger for days. That's not something he says lightly. The relief was real and lasting. Jay worked on me and took the time to really listen -- checking in about pressure, focusing on my trouble areas, and addressing my sciatica in a way that actually made a difference. Both Jay and Andrew created such a comfortable, relaxing environment and communicated clearly throughout the entire session. From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. We were given plush robes and comfy slides. The dressing area was spotless and thoughtfully designed, complete with lockers, private changing areas, bathrooms, and the most magnificent steam shower I've ever taken. There's also a sauna that made the whole experience feel like a full retreat, not just a massage appointment. Fusion Spa & Wellness exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're looking for real therapeutic results paired with a relaxing, luxury experience -- this is the place. We'll absolutely be back.

Hence I needed a gift certificate that would never expire. I was told no problems they would always honor the certificate. My wife went to schedule an appointment and was told that it must have expired because they had no record of it. I called the Spa to discuss, I was told that all their gift certificates expire after a year and this is written on them and sorry but too bad. I am not stupid and would never have bought a certificate if it would expire.. so be very careful if you buy a gift certificate...they want you to let it expire and the expired $ value goes to their bottom line as a profit
