This is the best yoga studio. The classes are great and are friendly for all levels beginner to advanced. The owner Heather is awesome.

She is also a 1st and 2nd Reiki healer amongst other specialties . The studio is small and intimate so that the participants can get the specific attention they need. In addition Mountain Yoga and healing also offers yoga with Dawn massages by Missy and hypnotherapy with Karen(Dr) all of the people are talented at what they do and offer an extensive variety of other sessions. Just ask. Love it. Thank you and Namaste.

This studio deserves credit for being Maryville's only public yoga studio. (Others in Maryville…read moregive private classes in their homes or they teach at other locations.) Owner Donna Marie Vigilante offers a decent spread of fairly elementary classes, and she hosts out of town teachers of high quality. Not everyone will click with Vigilante or her teaching style, though, and the division of classes into levels is really rigid. Same with the studio's overall tone (see instructions to prospective students for an example [http://www.smokymountainyoga.com/logistics]). An even bigger problem is how some of the basic information on the studio site is confusing. It says Vigilante "completed her Anusara Teacher Training Program with Betsey Downing at the Garden of the Heart Yoga Center in Sarasota Florida in 2005," but she's not registered at any level according to the official Anusara site [http://www.anusara.com/index.php?option=com_contactmanager&view=teachers&layout=inspired&Itemid=129#list]. If you know yoga, you know Anusuara can be really cool. Maybe someday this studio will be too.

Every other location has been extremely accommodating with very good service and fantastic class experiences. But when I tried to schedule classes at the Knoxville location, it was absolute radio silence after a phone call AND an email (which they state is the best and most efficient way to contact them.) I was told at other locations to always call the studios to schedule classes because annual membership drop in attendees receive certain benefits, so I did that AND sent an email to Knoxville. I did so multiple days in advance. ZERO follow up on their part. I understand if the classes I wanted were full (I'm used to the wait list, because our Cedar Park TX location is SUPER popular), but I would have AT LEAST expected someone call me back to say the classes were full. (By the way, YES, I did check the app before I called and emailed and everything seemed available.) Bad, bad move, PB Knoxville. I suspect you will need to do better on the customer service front if you want to ever be the kind of studio that many other PB locations across the country already are. I hope you can use this information to improve your business interactions.
