I highly recommend this restaurant. This place was a taste explosion in my mouth from the Brussel sprouts to the lemon berry dessert. Service was good and the front staff took very good care of us by hanging our jackets and moving us to regular table when they came available. The sausage pizza was SO good that my husband and I were secretly in our mind fighting for the last piece. I discovered I do not like elk while here but my husband loved it. The mashed potatoes and gravy surrounding it was like heaven in my mouth. Finally, the dessert was 10 out of 5 stars (but on chopped they would get points deducted for lack of texture. ;)) The prices were also reasonable. read more

The ambiance & vibe is nice but the food was mediocre and overpriced for what we got. Had the Huckleberry Salad. Was warned by the server that it was a sweet salad. I was fine with sweet but I had no idea it would be drowning in the huckleberry dressing. After I ate the drenched salad, there was still a huge puddle of dressing left. My partner had the pizza. It was good but it barely had any sauce or cheese on it. We felt we had paid for overpriced bread. (The crust was good.) Our server did his job but definitely not warm or friendly. Never refilled our drinks. Or water. Almost didn't feel like we were welcomed there. Noticed he asked some other parties around us if they were locals and then was friendly and tried chatting with them a little. We definitely looked like travelers passing through and maybe he felt we weren't worth the extra effort. Or maybe he was just super busy and it was hit or miss who he was more attentive towards. We tried this place out while visiting Bozeman in July. Super good service but the food was just a little off. Spicy pasta was so spicy you couldn't taste anything else but the heat, fried chicken had a strange spice to it, the sautéed olives were not good. Maybe it needs to work out some kinks. I have come to Revelry quite a few times for lunch or dinner and always had great food and drinks. However, today I ordered the pear and blue cheese salad and it was horrible! It had an odd flavor and was way too spicy to eat. I did not eat it. I did not see the waitress again until the others I was eating with had finished their meals. When I told her why I didn't eat the salad she asked if I wanted a box to bring it home. I replied no because I wouldn't eat it in the restaurant or at home. We were still charged for the salad and didn't receive an apology or anything to express regret; nothing. I am very disappointed and doubt I will return. read more

Enjoyed late lunch at Revelry. The Caprese Grilled Cheese was the best sandwich I've eaten in years. Made with fried green tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, roasted grape tomatoes, and specialty condiments. The flavor combination was truly satisfying! My wife and I are vacationing in Bozeman and we ate dinner here. They are known for the brick pizza oven, so I ordered a Margherita pizza and my wife had the truffle pizza. They were both excellent. We actually sat at the bar that overlooked the chefs making everything. The presentation on everything looked great. The food tasted good and it was fun. We did not have a reservation and they were getting busy. But we went early and got in easily. Service was good. It was a fun lively restaurant with a bar. FYI, There are free parking lots around the area, but you might have to drive around to find them. read more

This is a very eclectic and modern little restaurant. I stress little. It's not a family restaurant nor is it a place to go with people you are not comfortable and intimate with, in my opinion. That being said I think it is overall a wonderful place to dine. We got burgers and we ordered them rare and they were truly rare which is.....rare, hahaha. They have a decent wine selection but the menu was not updated. The servers were wonderful; very attentive and knowledgeable as well. The prices are a little high for the portions. The salads were small and they were pretty stingy on the size of the burger meat in my opinion. Maybe that's just compared to other Montana restaurants and not comprable to those in other states. The beautiful space and the high prices led me to believe this was a much different place than what we experienced. The space is beautiful- I loved the ambiance and seating options (bar, table, booth, multi-season patio). The $19 'grilled beet salad' was a small pile of greens with chopped, canned beets and a few other unmemorable additions. To add a touch of grilled chicken would have made this dish $24. The massive friend chicken sandwich was two (way too) overly breaded and very grisly chicken thighs smothered in a sauce meant to add flavor too the otherwise tasteless chicken. The sweet/sour pickles were a pretty touch but they didn't blend with the sauce well. The fries and iced tea were the only delicious item on our table. We were very disappointed with our $60 lunch (salad, sandwich, 1 beer, iced tea, and tip). read more

Barley & Vine is my favorite restaurant in Bozeman. I come here for brunch every weekend and surely by now my friends are sick of hearing me talk about it. But I can't stop! Red flannel hash... I think about you day and night. But this place doesn't just slay brunch - in fact I'd recommend starting a night out on the town here. Loads of wine, but also some great beer and cocktails. Appetizers bar none, and they just lead you into a great entree. And oh man I love a good charcuterie selection. This place never disappoints! Welp. Came here because of the Yelp reviews. I gotta say this was a outstanding experience. I had the fig salad with leeks and my husband had the Montana burger with a salad. We also ordered a side of the fries/fondue. I will start with my salad...not cheap but the best salad I have ever had (not kidding). My husbands burger was off the charts and his side salad was a decent size with delicious green olives and a great dressing. The fondue/ fries were also done perfectly and so yummy. Staff seemed alert while also appearing not hurried or stressed. Which also matters during these times. read more
