There is smoking allowed which made my boyfriend very happy! :)) We threw darts, there are a couple pool tables and a juke box, we loved it here! Thank you Cap'n! I am wheelchair bound and have been for 9 + years due to an accident. That being said I have a…read moreservice dog who was trained through Canine companions of independence. While at the bar the bartender was concerned of my dogs well being stating it was too Smoky and not an adequate place for a dog (mind you this establishment is for humans) besides the point of this place not being the cleanest that is my choice to stay or go. After I allowed a few people on the pool table next to my group to say hello I was asked to leave because the staff member did not believe he was a real service animal. Like I said I am wheelchair bound and this dog is solely trained to do item retrieval for me in tough to reach places. Such as if I drop something under my truck or rolls under an obstacle and I can not reach it myself. I travel for work quite frequently to places requiring all sorts of criteria and regulations and not one problem other than at this shit hole of a bar. Don't get me wrong I love a dive bar but my life being in a wheelchair is already tough enough without being discriminated against because of your staffs inability to understand the ADA law and realize I am perfectly within my rights to allow anyone I chose to say hello to my service animal. I reached out to Disability Rights of Florida to file a lawsuit against this establishment and because it's a sole entity and too small to file against them. Which leaves me to this, I just want it to known to the public how much this has bothered me as it happened almost 3 years ago! This has bothered me to the point that I still think about it to this day. Do better as a business to educate your staff!

And the burgers are all really good! There are so many options and yes they're on the pricier side but I still think it's really reasonable for what you get. Only thing I didn't like is that in the bathroom, they're playing an audio of a man reading EAP's stories and it's low-key creepy but it's on theme so it is what it is.

But she did enjoy her bun-less burger that was prepared gluten free without cross contamination. Their shipwrecked wings were solid as were the deep fried deviled eggs -- something, I hadn't experienced before but was impressed with how it was prepared. Aesthetically, it's this large cavernous space with beige walls that appears at one point it could have been a mattress store that then transformed into a bar with a full kitchen. The bar is very no frills with pool tables set up at opposite corners of the establishment but still close to the bar counter that is island-style. They have some arcade games and a space for table seating. Cocktail wise, it's nothing grand. Don't go thinking you are going to order Negronis there. I kept it simple and ordered a Yuengling draft and a Duke's Brown Ale from a local brewery. Both were served cold and were refreshing. My wife settled on her standard G&Ts and was satisfied. The staff were friendly as was the owner who I think also was the Kitchen Manager as well. It was a Monday night when the Saints and Falcons were playing so we were checking our fantasy scores. It serves as a local handout spot for sure and is probably wicked packed on fridays and saturdays. Still it was loud due to the church group of preteens and teens that were holding court at one pool table area before moving directly behind us at the other area. Would have preferred not to have that much noise but I also thought, they were at least having fun and doing something friendly as opposed to getting into trouble as I rationalized. The tavern is a fair spot if you need a beer and some wings. And a game of pool if you're inclined and can grab an open table.
