I'm not one to get real excited about medical treatments,actually i usually won't go until i really hurt or need medication.In my case i was really hurting in my neck and upper shoulder almost to the point of crying when i turned my head,being a semi truck driver this is a problem so to cut to the chase one Sunday i was listening to Dr.Nick on his broadcast and thought i would give him a call, i mean what could i lose right....BEST call i ever made,made my appt. got my consultation and x-rays , figured out what i needed done then figured out my schedule and I kid you not BY MY SECOND ADJUSTMENT i could turn my head at least 50% more and was feeling less pain!!! Today Ihave no pain at all and i don't have to take any types of pain meds. After thousands of dollars spent on PT, scans, an MRI and consultations with a neurologist, I was given the option to schedule a steroid injection as the last resort. I was told it may help the pain, or it may not, and I would never gain the mobility back in my neck and arm. I tried to maintain my job, but I filed for Fmla.
