I'm so thankful to have access to neurological-based chiro care for my family. And a business rooted in Jesus? What a perfect fit. I first met Dr. Matt and Dr. Kara at ITOWN Church and received adjustments while on staff. When I left, I noticed the difference in my body and knew I needed to resume care. My husband and I have been receiving regular weekly adjustment at The Premier Life (formerly Premier Family Chiropractic) since 2021. Our two girls have been fortunate enough to receive care since their first week of life and myself through both pregnancies. The care we receive in the office is attentive and tailored to each of us. We receive annual scans and and home care to practice outside the office to optimize healing and sustained health. And because the practice isn't about symptom managment, but really supporting the nervous system and therefore the body, they offer so many great resorces ranging from nutrition to fitness, removing toxins to supporting the body with supplements. They host a weekly podcast, put out weekly blog posts, curated a lending library in the office, and host monthly events all centering around different ways to support our bodies so they can heal themselves and we can live a "premier" life. Additionally, the doctors know my family and are so great with my girls. My two-year-old loves to go to the chiropractor! She can do all the warm-ups, loves the vibe plate, and, of course, getting a sticker at the end of each visit. The office is made for families, with cozy seating areas, an awesome coloring station, changing station (complete with clean diapers of all sizes and wipes) in the bathroom, and of course stickers. They also have commentary coffee, tea, and water, as well as several cozy seating areas--one that houses a book for prayer requests that the staff prays over each week. It's inviting and high-energy, with worship music blaring--feels like home. They also do such a wonderful job of giving back through annual food drives, diaper drives, and an Angel Tree, as well as creating events to bring in and support other local businesses. Though the cost can be intimidating and sometimes prohibitive, I can't recommend this practice more. read more

This place is pretty much the Megachurch version of a chiropractic office. When you first walk in the music is extremely loud and religious. I was not comfortable in an environment that is openly Christian. During the exam, I was seated directly in front of a computer with an open calendar that had all the existing patients names and information including their scheduled appointments. Surely this is a violation of HIPPA laws. As if this wasn't bad enough, I did not receive the care or results of my "exam" without having to demand them and email back and forth. In order to receive the results of your exam (which is really just a few mins with a receptionist using a thermal device to scan your back) you MUST book another appointment which you will have to pay for. If you want to avoid a scam and a religious environment DO NOT go here. This place is so incredibly joyful and always packed with people of all ages (which is always a good sign). The team is so friendly, informative, and caring. Chiropractic care is meant to prevent future problems and pain that come from misalignment. Yes, you can come when you experience pain, but they're also for just anyone... hopefully even more for people who aren't experiencing any pain yet, so that they never will. I also love the alternative options to pills that are often pushed out in the world... there is a big emphasis on healthy eating, good sleep, exercise, emotion, etc -- the entire person. The first step will be them taking x-rays, showing you your structure in comparison to a healthy structure, and going from there. They will give you exercises to do at home and also gave me a book about healthy lifestyles that has recipes, stretches, info about the body, etc. They are great about answering questions, really care about each patient, and the pain I've had in my neck is going away. We're working on the curvature in my spine and I'm excited to finally be addressing that. I've been told by doctors that I 'almost' have scoliosis, but it's not extreme enough to diagnose. As you can imagine, even having that slight curvature can lead to some pretty big back pain, so I'm happy to be addressing it before it leads to more pain. Super happy I found this spot! Dr. Matt is incredibly impressive, communicative, and loves educating patients. He originally studied to be a pharmacist and was alarmed at the amount of pills an average American was taking, so chose an alternative route. If you're skeptical and nervous about chiropractic care, I TOTALLY FEEL YA! I was the same, and would recommend just booking a first appointment to see what they say. This is a practice that exists for the purpose of whole life healing. The practitioners have extensive knowledge of the immune system; so much of our body's ability to heal lies in the full alignment of our spinal column & food as medicine. Anyone that has left a negative review did not understand the science, nor did they do what was asked of them by the practitioners in order to heal their body. If I could give this minus stars, that's what it would be. I got hit in the jaw in a freak accident, and it messed up my neck and shoulders. I went in trying to have everything realigned. I have been to chiropractors before. I believe they work and can improve health. I do NOT believe they are miracle workers who can cure everything from menstrual cramps to asthma. But that's what they strongly implied they could do. That's after they completed costly x-rays, of course. And had you come in for their required 2.5 hour seminar on their practice. And set you up with unlimited appointments that could be as often as one to two times per week for up to a year. I have never met a bigger bunch of pompous charlatans in my life! To top it off, the chiro who was most confident about his skills had only graduated a year ago. I was so disgusted, I canceled my next appointment and never came back. I can support every claim in this review, but it would take me over an hour to catalog all the outlandish ideas they spouted and condescending crap they said. My favorite though had to be when they noted on my chart that I have asthma and told me that it can be an alignment problem. The sad thing is, they may actually be very technically skilled. But they never laid a hand on me because they made me so mad. read more

It was okay. I had to wait an hour after my appointment time before I was seen. Then all that happened were X-rays and some other kind of scan. I called to let them know I couldn't come in today because I'm really dizzy, and I was told that the doctor really needed to go over my results with me. But why spend an hour waiting? And I prob wouldn't have gotten adjusted. I feel like I paid them yesterday to wait. And now I can't go back for awhile because their next owning is over two weeks away. Our entire family is under care at Premier. We have never been healthier. The philosophy of the practice is all about education and consistent care. The schedule of care in order to see positive correction is well thought out. By following recommendations and being open to learning about nutrition and self care, the changes we have experienced have been fantastic. My Spring and Fall allergy attacks (which often turned into sinus infections and bronchitis) have all but disappeared. If any family member gets sick (and it's few and far between now that our immune systems are functioning optimally) it doesn't last long. What keeps many kids out of school for 2 or 3 days at a time affects my kids for 12-24 hours. Premier Family Chiropractic is our first line of defense for health care in our family! read more

Premier was giving free scans at the gym. After talking with the guy, I agreed to come in for a visit. It was my first visit to a chiropractor and I couldn't figure out why everything was so sales-y. "Dr. Matt" made some initial adjustments and then told me I had to come to a meeting and bring someone with me. When I asked why, he said it was a Lot of information. I assured him I could handle it alone. As best as I could tell, the point of the meeting was to get new clients to drink the chiropractic Kool-aid. I initially fell for the okey-doke, agreeing to several sessions a week, with a monthly payment similar to a car payment. After 24 hours, reality kicked in. I called the office to get out of it. It took 45 minutes to quit the chiropractor. read more

This place is a mill for 'cure all'. All the voodoo talk about curing everything from your heart disease and toenail fungus with chiropractic care exists in this place. They require you to come to meetings that basically tell you not to drink soda and eat vegetables, like we don't know that already. They make you take x-Rays even if you have some recent ones from another place. They really creeped me out when I let them do one adjustment. The 'doctor' kept saying 'good girl' and 'there you go honey' like he was my curator. Bizarre - they also want a year commitment with payment plans. They even suggested I bring my 5-year-old in. It's crazy to read these reviews. I am fairly educated and highly skeptical and everything the negative reviews stated as far as seminars and claims to cure bodily ills is true. They do all that however once you get the X-ray and the follow up appointment and get on a schedule, something crazy happens. It works. Your body feels better. Your body responds better. Your body sleeps better. Your body does things perhaps it hasn't done in years. Or atleast in my case it did. I'm a fan and a believer and I scoffed at the seminar until I asked questions and tried it for myself. I've been for four months and can run 3 miles non stop and I couldn't of run a mile with my back and hips and knees prior. I went to this practice because some friends of mine spoke highly of this company. I am NOT a chiropractor skeptic, but I have been looking for a practice that is individual focused - this is NOT that practice at all. The place is a zoo. Music plays all the time, and it is pretty loud. The only time it stops is when there is a"class" going on. Care is provided in an open concept arrangement; everyone can see you getting your care. The business is run in an assembly line format. You literally take a number when you arrive. After the initial paperwork was completed, I was left alone in a room with a computer where the screen had a partial list of active patient's. Good-bye privacy laws. During my first consult, I was "educated" on subluxation - they only treat subluxation. I was discouraged from sharing my health concerns and details of my health status because once x-rays were taken, they would have all the information they needed. Once you get x-rays, they REFUSE to tell you your results until you attend their "class". In their class, they never state it, but infer multiple times that they can cure and prevent you from getting all kinds of diseases just by regular adjustments. Apparently chiropractic adjustments alone will prevent cancer. After the class, you wait for every person in the class to get their results one-on-one. Good-bye three hours of my life. Regular adjustments in the first year are 2-3 times a WEEK, and may be more or less frequent depending on the severity of your subluxation. And then, for the LIFETIME, at LEAST once a week. Billing is like a gym membership. You sign a contract, and give them your credit card number for monthly pre-approved withdrawals. When I told my physician what the x-rays showed, she asked me to get a copy of them for her. Since all x-rays are digital and can be e-mailed or placed on a disc, I thought that wouldn't be too hard or costly. Wrong - $100.00 just to get the x-rays electronically for my physician. Not even for another chiropractor. So much for team-work. AND GUESS WHAT, it's like a pyramid plan. Whomever refers you to their practice gets a discount. If you bring people to their practice, you get a discount. And the more people you bring, the more discounts you get. I am sure the people working there want to help people, but this is truly a business, and you will NOT forget it. read more

Before coming to see Dr. Michael Wasserstrom and team, I admittedly had a very low opinion of Chiropractors. However, he has opened my eyes to a much broader world of holistic health, based on Maximized Living's "5 Essentials" (e.g. maximizing quality nutrition, minimizing toxins, etc.). Your spinal cord carries crucial, vital information between your brain and all organs and cells in the body. If there is any interference, it can adversely affect your body's ability to heal and maintain wellness. PFC has been a life changer. I've had scoliosis since I was 10 years old and every chiropractor I've been to said they couldn't fix it but they could make sure it wouldn't get worse. The care at this office is exceptional. There is no other word to describe it. The doctors are not only giving a higher standard of chiropractic care, but they are also teaching necessary lifestyle factors to help patients overcome chronic disease and reduce unnecessary medication. These lifestyle changes are taught 6 major workshops per year. There are usually around 200-300 people at these events. Did I mention they are free?!?! I was a skeptic, no doubt, until my office held a health fair and Dr Mike's team attended. The free education and evaluation they provided got me intrigued as I learned that chiropractic medicine isn't just about having someone "crack your back" so I made an appointment. I have tremendous anxiety about doctors in general so it was such relief to have a great experience during the evaluation process. Dr. Mike took the time to listen to me about my fears, concerns, and goals in seeking treatment. My evaluation was tough to come to terms with (tears were shed) but at the same, confirmed what I already knew. I was too young to be feeling this old. Due to knee injuries in my early teens (and one unsuccessful surgery), my main goal when I started seeing him was to not have the knee pain any longer and avoid more surgery. HIS main goal was to provide me whole health care.... education, proper exercises for my areas of focus, supplements I should be taking, and proper diet choices. I learned not only about my spine and the importance it plays, but also about my environment and consumption choices I make that directly effect my body. He helped me establish an overall life style that worked for me. He literally took the time to look at my lunch box (at my request) to approve new choices I was making. When I said I need someone to hold me accountable, he stepped up and did. After a few months of therapy, my knees went from hurting 95% of the time to about 5%, no exaggeration. After about 6 months I was feeling great and made the mistake of falling out of the good routines Dr. Mike helped me put in place. I started feeling that "I'm old, why does everything hurt" again. I showed back up at Dr. Mike's office after realizing the impact his care had on my life. Yes, my life, not just my aches and pains. I started seeing him regularly and within a few weeks was back on track and for the most part, stayed there. Dr. Mike and his team are fully committed to my health. I trust him and hold him in the highest regard. His overall approach to care is like nothing I have ever heard of from other providers. This is a patient mill. Dr Mike is a good chiropractor but the system he runs is a whole other story. After being evaluated you will be quoted a monthly automatically paid fee for a year. You have to be on a program as they will not charge by session. They promised all kinds of life style and nutrition stuff which never amounted to anything. If you have questions you have to ask quick during your adjustment otherwise you have to make a separate appoint to talk to a Doc. When I was last there, the evaluation and sales pitch was done by an experienced front desk person. The tables are all in an open area where they can have 8-10 patients on a table at a time and if 2 or 3 docs are there, they can turn over that many in 15minutes. After each quick adjustment you go to the PT area where one guy tells you what to do and manages up to 6 or more at the same time for exercises and stim or other machines. He is not a PT but just a trainer working with direction. I went to 3 evening talks, the 1st one was very good but the following were variations on the same theme. They are always after you to bring in family and friends. Between my insurance the what they charged for my chiro care that year, I am embarrassed to say, was over $8,000. Maximized Living format that they use for this practice even gives them the scripts for the docs and staff to use to sell their services. Many families and I suspect they get a better deal than a single person but the bottom line is you have to sign up for their significant monthly charge to go here. I've been a patient for a few years and I can honestly say I feel like a different person than when I first started.
