I was billed around $400 per day, even though my sessions did not always last a full hour and were sometimes much shorter. I consider that misleading and believe their advertising and promises about costs were not clear or accurate. I have waited patiently for years trying to get this resolved. I also called several times and did not receive return calls. That made me feel like my concerns only mattered when money was involved. In my experience, this practice gave the impression that patient care came first, but the way my billing concerns were handled made me feel that collecting money was the main priority. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this place get every statement about pricing, session length, discounts, insurance, and bill negotiations in writing before agreeing to treatment. I am sharing this because I do not want another person to make a major financial decision based on promises that may later change. I now see another amazing massage therapist at Indy Massage Company named Matthew. He is pretty great, and I look forward to relaxing on his table each month at IMC. He is intuitive and firm yet incredibly gentle, and I'm able to just surrender and let him work his magic. I've mostly only booked Swedish massages with him, but one time I booked a longer session where he really worked out the muscles in my upper back and shoulders, which really needed attention. I first met with Dr. Charbel explaining what I was feeling, and after examining my arm he wrote up a treatment plan for me with specific goals and a timeline. He explained what the treatment would look like and how many appointments I may need. Over the next several visits of acupuncture and tissue massage, I learned that Dr. Charbel is not only a top notch doctor, but also he is a caring, compassionate human being. He is someone I have come to trust knowing that he truly has my best interests in mind. Best of all, his treatment plan worked. My pain is gone! Though our time together is coming to an end, I will not stop singing my praises of Dr. Charbel. He is the good doctor of chiropractic people deserve!
