First impression- WINNER. I filled out a one sheet form which took me about 2 minutes to complete. He then took me back to the room and assessed me and did my "snap, crackle, pop" in addition to my "electro therapy". Just like that I was in and out and the treatment was BETTER than my regular chiropractor! I highly recommend this guy. He's been in practice since the 1980's and is old school (which I like). He informed me of what he was adjusting, how he was doing it, and reassured I was comfortable with the pressures while he was adjusting. With the little interaction I've had with the other doctors, they are just as informative and great. The office staff is extremely friendly and reassuring. You won't be surprised with additional costs, they always go over what to expect at your future appointments, which I really liked. I went, and it was a very nice place. However, what threw me off was the church music in different rooms and people listening to "Dr. Wilson" on replay over the speakers in the common area. They "test you", and sure enough, there's always something wrong with you where you HAVE to get this treatment. Anyway, saw a chiropractor and spoke with him for a bit. He then wanted to do an adjustment, which I was fine with. He then prayed over me and the adjustment lasted about 30 seconds. He then said my wife (who was not a patient) needed to come back with me to do a group therapy session. I was like "What??!". It has a very cult-like vibe to it and I never went back. But one thing is sure, they WILL call you incessantly to try to get you to come back. I've since found a legitimate chiropractor and told him the story. He said he's heard of that place and has actually had some of their ex-patients cone in and tell him the same thing. He thought it was very odd as well. We determined that I could benefit from chiro services (adjustments) along with acupuncture. A treatment plan was developed by Dr. Storm and I began immediately. I was impressed that Dr. Storm had read my file prior to meeting with me. If you've been there, you know they are a "well oiled machine" so when he had time to read, I'm not sure but nonetheless, I was impressed. Combined with a diet change, I noticed vast improvements in my condition and have to assume my visits here helped. My husband and I have been receiving regular weekly adjustment at The Premier Life (formerly Premier Family Chiropractic) since 2021. Our two girls have been fortunate enough to receive care since their first week of life and myself through both pregnancies. The care we receive in the office is attentive and tailored to each of us. We receive annual scans and and home care to practice outside the office to optimize healing and sustained health. And because the practice isn't about symptom managment, but really supporting the nervous system and therefore the body, they offer so many great resorces ranging from nutrition to fitness, removing toxins to supporting the body with supplements. They host a weekly podcast, put out weekly blog posts, curated a lending library in the office, and host monthly events all centering around different ways to support our bodies so they can heal themselves and we can live a "premier" life. Where to even start…read more I'm not sure if I would have been able to move as well as I do now if it wasn't for this office. My personal injury was a herniated disc in my C5 and C6. I was in so much pain I couldn't even move my neck nor arm. When I walked into the office, right away Dr. Laux knew I was going thru a lot of pain. He wanted me to stay with some ice therapy until my swelling went down. About a week later, I got my appointment scheduled and the office ladies took care of me. Once I got in he gave me a plan on what will happen the next few months while I was in his care. Few months passed and I have never felt better! I was able to feel my neck and my arms all over again! As time passed I had gotten stronger and healed very well! All I can say is, if you want a doctor who actually understands your pain.
