The staff here truly care and want you to get better. I appreciate the bios listing the trainings and specialities of the staff members. As a cautious consumer I love understanding what my providers know to decide if I feel I trust them. I was wanting to find someone who does the same type of sports as I do to see if a pain I'm feeling made sense based on something I could be doing wrong. Example, is my bench press form actually causing my issues? The providers listen to understand and try different modalities to help. I've done the laser treatment, cupping, and decompression table. I really felt cupping helped decrease my inflammation and probably wouldn't have tried it before Dr Burns recommened it and explained why it helps. I also appreciate their cash price option so it's a "no fuss" you know what you're going to pay option. So far, so good---have been seeing Dr. Cory Harkins for 2 weeks now for a pinched nerve in my neck and an intermittent sciatica issue. The initial consult was easy to schedule, and the office staff is very friendly. My initial consultation was $89, which included x-rays. They had me come in the next morning to go over the films and to discuss a treatment plan,which I thought was awesome---not having to wait too long to be seen is a big deal. I like that Dr. Harkins seems committed to helping me without resorting to surgery or meds. They do take insurance, and then they offer discounts on your copays based on how you want to pay (each visit, weekly, monthly, all at once). I found my treatment plan to be super reasonable, which was a nice surprise. I had never been to a chiropractor before this, and I'll confess I was afraid that some WWF-style body slamming adjustments might happen ... thankfully, that is not the case. Groupon was offering half off for a massage at ProWellness Chiropractic and I thought...why not...after all I am a hedonist :-) I made my appointment with ease and allowed plenty of time to get there since it is on the far side of Fishers. Emily was my massage therapist and I have to say that she was absolutely fabulous. Before she began the massage, she asked me where I would like her to focus. For me, it is always the shoulder and upper back area since I tend to tense up during the day working on a computer. The amount of pressure that Emily used was just right...I wanted it to hurt a little since that meant she is getting to the knots. She really listened to me. I've had foot surgery which has resulted in some nerve damage and she heeded my request to ease up on the pressure when she got to my feet. Perfect. Another thing, as Emily was moving around the table, she kept a hand on me the entire time. THAT is what a true professional massage therapist does. I was only too happy to tip her 25%! I just wish Fishers was closer to where I live, especially since I need to go after work and that puts me right into rush hour. But I would go the distance for one of Emily's massage. BTW...she is also an Athletic Trainer. Her business card shows that she has a BS and is a CMT. The receptionist told me that the other massage therapist, Heather, is also very good. read more

I've been going to Dr. Burns regularly for a few years now, and I highly recommend him. I don't have any severe chronic issues, but I'm a true believer in regular "tune ups" ( I go once a month). I switched chiropractors simply because I was looking for something closer to home, but didn't really think I would find anyone better than who I had. I WAS WRONG. Dr Burns is more thorough than any other chiropractor I have been to. He takes the time to listen to what's going on with my body, and always suggests therapies during our session that will help with whatever I am dealing with including headaches, neck pain, lower back, and shoulder/upper back tightness.
