A little background on me: I am a former massage therapist and practiced Thai massage for about 5 years. I've been seeing Danielle for massage for a few years now. Her pressure was perfect (exactly what I expected considering how much I love her pressure in regular massage). I especially loved how she integrated her knowledge of muscles and the body into the various Thai stretches. Danielle's intuition with the body guides her to areas that need special attention and her love of the practice really comes through in her energy. Thai massage is very relaxing, but it's also very energizing. I left Specific Kneads feeling very loose and ready to take on the rest of my day. I was actually energized well into the evening, stayed up past my usual bedtime and added an extra 40 minutes to my normal workout because I felt so great. I will definitely be scheduling more Thai massage with Danielle. FYI - Thai is great for athletes or anyone who feels like they simply don't stretch enough on a regular basis. You'll get a great massage along with deep stretching!

Danielle was professional, friendly and catered to my needs. My shoulders and neck seem to tense up when I am stressed, but normally I have no pain in any area of my body. She focused on this area and what a difference it made! After the session, I felt so relaxed, I went home and happily cleaned my house with no issues in my neck, shoulders, or back.

I'm a heavy guy so my feet take a pounding every single day. Jenny's attention to my feet and calves made me feel light as a feather. Additionally, Lulu did a fantastic job on my face, head and neck. The combination of these two therapists working on opposite ends and different muscle groups at the same time was truly something to experience. Highly recommend Still Waters Spa. Try the 4 hand with these to therapists and you will simply float out of the office.

Each of the massage therapists is certified to perform safe prenatal massages. They have an easy online booking system (which I appreciated). I showed up and everyone was masked (March 2022) which I was thankful for, being pregnant. They offered me a glass of water while I completed the waivers and were very friendly! (I was the first appointment of the day.) I went into the room and the therapist thoroughly explained how the whole massage would go and made sure she knew exactly what I wanted her to focus on. The table was extremely comfortable for a pregnant person :) special pillow/mat with holes to accommodate your growing body and the ability to lay on my stomach (which I've missed!) and there was no pressure anywhere on my body. Just laying on the table was worth the whole massage! Lol halfway through I rolled over and she replaced the belly mat with a large wedge, so I didn't have to lay flat. The only thing I'd suggest would be having white noise or meditation music and or candles/aroma therapy. It was very quiet, but that would've put it over the top with comfort. Seriously an amazing way to start my day and I can't wait to go back!

You could hear everything out in the hallway, which made for a really disruptive experience the entire massage The cherry on top was the masseuse taking a phone call to book someone's massage during our massage while we were in the room. Each time they stopped actually massaging. So not only was it disruptive, but one of us didn't receive our full one hour massage. When we left and it was time to pay, she tried to say that we still owed more after giving the gift certificate because they did a deep tissue massage which we did not book I gave her the gift certificate that was enough for two massages and gratuity and left I can confidently say I will never come back here
