My goodness this place is horrible. Wish I would have read the reviews about them before agreeing with my surgeon to get a brace and cpm machine from them. First off they sent a cpm machine home with me without sending a pre-authorization to my insurance, and never told me they didn't check for coverage before sending the machine home with me. I'm assuming I will be getting an insane bill for that. Also I was supposed to go home from surgery (which was on July 8th) with a knee brace to immediately start stretching my leg back out to get my range of motion back, which I didn't receive. They sent me one and a bit later and sent someone out to fit it on me. He came out and immediately noticed it was way too big for me and took it back with him and told me they would be sending me another. They sent another one out and a few days later another guy came out to fit it on me and he said it's still too big. So it is now 2 weeks after surgery and I still don't have a brace that is somewhat critical to my rehabilitation. By the time they send out the correct size and get someone to fit it on me, it'll easily be 3+ weeks after surgery which is only postponing my recovery. They charged me $550.00 for a knee brace, which I still don't have after 2 weeks, and informed me that my insurance doesn't cover any of it. I called my insurance to verify this and was informed they cover 80% of that brace (I checked with the exact billing code for the brace) which leaves me paying only 20% of the brace. I called restore motion and they informed me again that my insurance does NOT cover it. So now I have called my insurance over 5 times to verify they do cover it and finally had to ask them to call restore motion direct to tell them they do cover 80% of it. When I asked for a refund of the 80% I was told they won't be able to do that until they pick up the CPM machine because that's how their billing works. Maybe if they checked my insurance before, I wouldn't have been charged the entire amount, and on top of that I was the one who had to find out my insurance DOES in fact cover the majority of the brace. I just had surgery, you guys should be handling all of this and dealing with my insurance instead of just not checking with them and charging me full amounts. So now at 2 weeks I have a CPM machine that I have no idea who is paying for (which from reading their terrible reviews, I expect a large bill that I will end up fighting) and STILL NO BRACE. Listen to all of these reviews and avoid this train wreck. You shouldn't be screwed around for weeks after a surgery with rehab equipment, it's a pretty serious issue and I will be going elsewhere for the brace and will NEVER use this place again. Don't use them, your rehabilitation equipment is critical and they don't care and are so unorganized it will only hurt you in the long run. read more

These people were great once, back in 2013 when they were named "Team Makena". Today, is a different story. Their product is good, their reps are good, their customer service is sorely lacking. So, it's a lot of time and work on your part. I won't do business with them again. The office takes a lot of time with your physician to get the business. Once they get your referral, they spend hours on the phone to get all the details, your issues, your preferences, etc. However, they drop the ball very quickly. They forget to follow-up with important details, like keeping track of when their rep visits your doctor, or what time you specified your fitting, or if your insurance company will allow two devices for different problems,or sending you images of choices from their huge catalog,etc. So guess what...it's your watch. You follow-up and follow-up and follow-up. It's exhaustive! read more

Please use other provider. I know they are usually suggested by your physician so once you find out it's them, use someone else. I had surgery and I ordered the machine before my surgery. My doctor said I need to use it everyday after and it's most important the first 7 days. I am writing this review the second day after my surgery and still have not received the equipment that I have to use. Remind you I prepaid. My insurance reprocessed the claim. noone from restore motion ever reached out to me. i recently came across a copy of the bill again and gave them a call to follow up and i am due a refund of $120 initiated on 11/1/2019...now a month later having to follow-up again and the billing office is telling me that the notes from the company aren't clear hinting around that its not clear if the refund is supposed to be for 60 or 120 and now I have to wait more for them to clear up inhouse communication! it didn't take long to take my money but its taking forever and a day to get it back. read more

WARNING____Beware of Signing a "Patient Product Agreement", Especially or the "COLD RUSH COLD THERAPY UNIT". they have a (For Internal Use Only) area that is checked off, and i had a friend Check these questions, and found out that they are Misleading and Misunderstood. if your in pain or on Medication, during their presentation of the above product, have a Certified Care Giver or a Coherent Family member there during this Sales Gimmick. There's No "RETURNS" and there is no way, They can Properly educate You on the Use of this Product, unless the Box was Opened, and the RESTORE MOTION will explain that you can open the box at the Hospital. What Hospital allows any Outside equipment in for Your Therapy. Just Wrong and Unprofessional. Beware of this Shady Tactics. read more

I have gotten great service from restore motion. Tony came to fit me for my brace and he was very knowledgable and very professional! I really appreciated him showing me everything I needed to know about my hip brace. He took his time and I did not feel rushed at all. He was also on time and efficient. I had a knee replacement on Monday. Someone was supposed to come out to my house on Wednesday to deliver the machine and show me how to use it. Unfortunately, there were complications and I was readmitted to the hospital. Tony at restore motion couldn't have been kinder and rescheduled the delivery for Friday. Massive mark up stay away. I was told that my foot brace was covered by insurance.The brace can be purchased for an reputable supplier for $55, however the bill says $362. That's a crazy mark up from retail price, let alone wholesale price. Make sure you also check the google reviews. read more

I have been working with Restore Motion for a few years. I've had a few knee braces and a walking boot as well. Their customer service is far superior to many other companies. They are a 10 out of 10! Two employees stand out as far as my experiences; Ann Van and Charles Slater. I have corresponded with Ann through emails, on the phone and in person and she never fails to get the job done. I've had several problems with the first knee brace and after trying many different fixes, she suggested she fit me for another brace. Insurance covered the cost and it fit perfect. She has been extremely helpful & constantly reliable. Ann is not only knowledgeable about the products, she is very professional. Kudos to you Ann; I'm so appreciative for all of your help. The second person was Charles Slater who has been out to my home many times. Anytime I've had a problem Charles responded quickly and was happy to come back to the house, never failing to resolve my problem. It was a pleasure to open the door for him. He always had a smile on his face and I appreciated his cheerful attitude. When my brace needed a strap replaced or part tweeked, Charles took the time to teach me how to make the straps shorter (which side to cut if they had to be cut) & how to adjust the brace. I would ask Charles many questions and his reply always included an explanation as to why he said what he did. Charles is a very professional employee for Restore Motion and extremely knowledgeable. I've had two injuries to the same knee and for nearly 9 months I had tremendous knee pain and restricted mobility. A couple of months ago I found Dr Reza, an orthopedist who treated me with PRP injections and recommended I wear a weight bearing knee brace. Restore Motion designed this brace to my measurements. I was assisted by a terrific staff who took all the necessary steps to assure me of a perfect fit and hassle free insurance coverage. Tony was professional, patient, an effective trainer, and very accommodating when he delivered my friend's CPM and cooling equipment to help with her recovery from partial knee replacement surgery. Because my friend's surgery was delayed, Tony was willing to adjust his schedule so that both she and I could receive the equipment as late as possible in the afternoon. But, when it was clear my friend wouldn't be home until evening, Tony came over to my friend's house to drop off the equipment and train me on how to operate them so that I could, in turn, train my friend. He even let me video his training me so that my friend could watch! Thanks, Tony, for all your help! I got a CPM machine from them and it works great! The guy who brought it (Tony) was super friendly and helped me learn how to use it before my hip surgery. This is my first experience in having a partial knee replacement. The technician Tony who delivered the equipment was so helpful and thoroughly explained how to operate the motion machine. The machine itself I have heard is essential in having a full range of motion in recovery. I noticed a difference in my knee not being as stiff after the first use. Tony and Andrew were both really great to work with. I was required to show up for my surgery with my brace or they wouldn't do the surgery so when my Dr. office failed to put the order for the equipment through in a reasonable time, the delivery of the equipment ended up being scheduled for the evening before my surgery.
