My Father recently had back surgery and was in need of a sturdy wheelchair. I called about 5 different locations during a holiday weekend - 4th of July. Chris, was the only business that called me back. I was so grateful to receive his call. My family and I are so happy that we chose to buy a wheelchair here and other items for my Dad. I contacted Range Medical and a few other medical and mobility supply stores looking for portable power chairs to test out. They didn't have any available in store but Chris said he would give me a call back and I heard from him a few hours later letting me know that he was having a portable power chair brought in specifically for me to see. I was in need of a hospital bed for my wife who recently had surgery. We were able to rent one and have it delivered. On the delivery day, Chris the owner delivered the bed and set it up with no problems. The bed was super clean, looked brand new. A few days later I called Chris to see if he had a pot for a potty chair and he did. I went to pick it up expecting to pay for it and he gave it to me for free. I went to rent a scooter for a friend and the service was awesome! Tried many styles and was shown how to use the device. The rental price was inexpensive and can rent by the week or month. Several adjustments had to be made to the rental unit and the sales rep was very patience in making the changes. The rental agreement was easy to follow and clearly stated. Their selection was average for medical supplies but they have all the major common items people want. Still a great place for equipment rental or purchase. Great value. read more

I currently help out a 87 year old that had a stroke 3 years ago. She purchased a mobility scooter from Range Medical 2 years ago. Her batteries recently died and she was unable to charge them and drive the scooter to Range Medical to get them replaced. I live in Los Angeles and because of Covid, Im doing everything I can remotely to maintain social distancing. I called and spoke with Chris, and he was extremely helpful to explain which batteries the scooter needed. I also mentioned that I was unable to assist the lady I help in person as I work in the healthcare industry and don't want to risk her health and further explained she is unable to drive the scooter to Range Medical because her batteries are dead. He was very understanding of the situation and offered to not only drop off the batteries, but switch them out for her. He has known this lady for years and said she's only 4 blocks from the store and he's happy to assist. He didn't have to do this, but he's definitely a kind hearted person and during such challenging times we are all facing right now, it's so wonderful to have a person like him show kindness by going out of his way for someone in need. A very nice selection of lift chairs. Good price range too, you can get a basic one or go all out with heat and massaging. You can get a loaner chair if you have a special order made, which takes about a month. You can also rent them too. Range even delivered it for free. My dad loves the chair we got. The guy made it super easy for me to rent a wheelchair for a week for 20 dollars. I was also able to rent a scooter the next week again for 20 dollars because I wanted to compare the two.
