Bought the 8-point package ($169) to do a weekly cryo + sauna combo. Sauna was never available on any of the days I tried to book. On 9/2/25, my calls went unanswered ("no one answered"). I got a short text offering times I couldn't do, then the texts stopped. I drove over in person and the front desk refused to let me speak with a manager and said I "never called." I used 0/8 points because the service I paid for wasn't reasonably available. I've requested a refund and opened a dispute with my card issuer. Very disappointing experience. read more

The front desk individual is extremely manipulative, lacks candor, and makes every interaction a personal attack. She is the most disingenuous individual I have ever seen at a retail establishment. The first day my wife and I went for an orientation, we asked many medical related questions since my wife is in the medical field. We asked questions around the hyperbaric chamber, cryo, and what their safety protocols were around potential health emergencies. She became frustrated and from then on has given us nothing but a negative attitude. We have been there three times and every visit there has been an issue. This location is poorly managed and if you bring up an issue and seek resolution, all you get is excuses and defensive toned hyperbole. Today, we both went for IV thereapy and had submitted our required paperwork prior to our visit. I had a 60 min facial before my IV so the nurses had 36 hours to review and ask any questions but it wasn't reviewed until 90 min after my arrival. After waiting 30 min after my appointment time, I was informed that the NP who oversees the medical staff put out a new policy less than a week ago that says anyone who has had cardiac care has to have their cardiologist sign a release form. I pointed out to the RN that it was noon on Friday so the odds of my cardiologist getting the form, reviewing, and signing/returning it were slim to none. I had a stent put in 3 years ago and that is my only " cardiac" related event. I explained I had a full physical with cardiac clearance prior to my 10/2/25 shoulder surgery which was extremely more indepth than what the form was asking for but the nurse wouldn't accept that documentation. I left while my wife stayed for her treatment. When I came back I sat in the lobby for ten min on my phone then asked the individual with the attitude why we were required to submit paperwork prior to our treatments but they aren't reviewed until the visit time so if there were any issues we have time to resolve them. She said she would get a nurse to come and answer my questions. That was the extent of my interaction with that individual. 10 min later my wife came out with the nurse I had previously had a conversation with. We sat in the lobby discussing the challenges and how best to resolve them. The individual at the front desk was acting strange and kept getting up to go outside, which was odd, since it was 8 degrees outside. About 10 min into my conversation with the RN, the individual came back in with an officer from the local PD. I asked him if he was called there and he answered in the affirmative. When I asked him what the call for service was he said it was because I was being disorderly. I told him and the nurse I had been a deputy sheriff for a dozen years and nothing I had said or done constituted anything remotely close to discon based on VA statutes. Once the nurse and I finished I let her know that this individual calling LE and filing a false call for service was a crime. I contacted the city attorney's office and filed a FOIA request for all audio and written documentation regarding the incident. Once I receive it, I will follow up with the corporate office regarding their employee. There are also video cameras in the lobby area so that, along with 4 other clients present, will prove this person is once again lying and has a personal agenda. Lastly, this individual is black, I am white, my wife Latina, and the first time we visited I had on my CBP hat. Her words and actions demonstrate she is overtly racist and anti- government. Today, she allowed another black individual who walked in with no appointment to jump in front of my wife for a therapy treatment she had an appointment for. My wife confronted her and she refused to discuss it other than admitting she did allow the guy in front of my wife. This individual has no business working in a public facing position and her continual harassment and negative behavior towards paying customers is completely unacceptable but apparently allowed. The nurses state they are overworked and many issues with scheduling and treatments continue to exist. The business is expensive and yet customers are lied to and treated disrespectfully. It is marketed as a place of wellness but it is nothing but a viper pit of dishonesty, racial prejudice, scheduling nightmares, and complete lack of respect for clients. If you want to know who this individual is, her picture is on the wall across from the reception desk, on the far right. I purchased a special online for cryotherapy and B12/Lipo injections and received multiple text messages confirming my appointment. On Friday, I fought through rush hour traffic to make it to their location, only to be told they didn't have my appointment. Later, they found my name but said no nurse was available to administer the B12/Lipo injections. I was also informed that cryotherapy is more effective for weight loss when combined with the injections, so they rebooked me for Saturday morning. I arrived on Saturday, and once again, they claimed I wasn't booked for cryotherapy--even though I had received texts all morning about my appointment and what to wear. To top it off, they then mentioned that their cryotherapy machine was broken and suggested I come back another time. I decided to leave. Something is seriously off with this place. Don't waste your time or money--it's poorly managed and feels like a scam. read more

I recently visited Restore Hyper Wellness (King St) Location on 7/27. I will never visit this location again! 1.) The restroom smells like urine. 2.) The cryotherapy machine has visible mold in the machine (canceled my appointment immediately). 3.). The nurse who administered my IV therapy was not professional. She kept missing my veins after the second try I told her to stop, she did not connect the IV bag properly, so half the bag leaked on my clothes. 4.). I reached out to management to express my concerns, I was told the manger went to get toilet paper and would call me when she returned. Terrible experience here, the receptionist seems like she really hates her job - had 0 personality or customer service skills. I specifically scheduled for an appointment to get a tour of the place and guess what? I get there and she tells me that she can't give me one. Told me that no one's available to give me a tour - ok then, why was I not informed before I drove all the way out for my SCHEDULED TOUR? I received one of the services instead, well while I was receiving the treatment, I see another lady giving a tour to other customers that were there. Confused, I asked the receptionist I thought you guys weren't doing tours? She said they don't have anyone available and when I mentioned I saw the other lady doing it, she completely denied it, acting as if I'm lying. Never have I experienced worse customer service at a wellness center. This place will go out of business in no time. read more

I paid for a full treatment, was given a partial treatment since it was my first time there, per the advice of the attendant. Hardly cold, did nothing. I decided to buy a 5-pack with promise that maximum intensity would be more effective and went right back in. It was not. 3 minutes and 15 seconds at maximum capacity brought my body temperate down 20 degrees. Thats two treatments (valued at $50 per session) within a single hour and had no results immediately nor within the day). Not worth the money. Even with a "first time" discount, $191, is a ripoff. Wouldn't even consider their regular price. That's insane. You're better off doing an ice bath at home (in your back yard with an inflatable pool, summertime) or just in a home bath. At least you're not being shaken down to stand in a fancy fridge for a couple of minutes. Left feeling worse than I came in. read more

Went there last week. I walked in the door and the girl behind the front desk didn't even look up from the computer. I stood there for a good minute before she acknowledged me, and when she did, it was like I was bothering her. Also, there was old hip hop music blasting, which I thought was inappropriate for a "wellness" facility. Who wants to hear that when you're trying to zone out during a treatment? Not me. I was thinking of getting a trial membership, but the whole vibe was off for me. I left, and have found another place that offers the same types of services in a much more friendly, relaxing environment. Only gave it one star because it was required. read more

It is very difficult to stop your membership. I was told to contact a person in Restore, whom I never could reach. I sent her an email, but never heard back from her. I thought the email would suffice, but it didn't. They stopped the payment for one month and then they started up again. I saw the reviews that complained about it being difficult to end your membership with Restore before I joined. But I said to myself if this happens to me I will just put in a dispute with the credit card company. That did not work. When my credit card company contacted Restore they said I never canceled with them. To make a long story short, I lost the dispute after providing my email and some other documents. To stop the payments, I had to cancel my credit card. It is so unfortunate because I loved the services at Restore, I just ran out of money. I planned on restarting my membership. Restore is a hit!! I'm so glad to have a place so close to home for all of my wellness needs. I had originally booked at Restore for red light therapy after being under the weather, looking to recover and recharge. After telling Andrew, a staff member, my symptoms and problem set he recommended HBOT - hyperbaric oxygen therapy - and it's wonderful! I believe the combo of red light and HBOT got me back to 100%. Very grateful for the recommendation as I wouldn't have gone for HBOT on my own. So glad I got a pack. The entire staff is wonderful, particularly Andrew, Laura and Ja'Lin. Everyone is very professional and knowledgeable of all the service offerings. Go in for sauna, red light or facial. Stay for HBOT or cryo! This place has it all. read more

We had a chance to check out two core services! It was a wonderful experience with the associate. The tour was very nice and all questions were answered. I tried the compression and the infrared sauna. This place has a leg up as their sauna also comes with a shower after. It was nice to have a cold shower considering how hot your body is. I came in to try their cryo service and a leg compression session. Unfortunately no one called me to tell me that the cryo machines were out of service which was frustrating as I would have rescheduled both appointments. So, instead I did the leg compression and a sauna session. The leg compression is an a comfy room and those leg compression sleeves are the bomb. They feel soooo bad. The country music was the same playing in the lobby and open areas so if that's not your thing, you'll want to bring noise cancelling headset to listen to your own jam. The sauna was also great - you get your own personal sauna room so you can undress and relax. It's 45mins of heat (i think about 140ºf). you can't bring any electronics in but I had my iphone on speaker right outside the door and could hear it fine. I then took a cool shower and felt totally invigorated. Still would have liked to do the cryo but the other two services were great and the place was nice, clean, and cheerful. read more

The front desk and service workers at this business are fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. However, the billing department is another story. If you have a billing question and call, they "take a message for the manager" and nobody calls you back. If you send an email, you MAY get a response within 4 days, but mostly likely not. I have been trying to cancel my membership for 2 months now, and they do not call me back nor do they answer any emails. I am having to request my credit card company do a chargeback since nobody at the business will help me at all and they have charged me over my agreed upon cancellation date. I am not looking for any variance from their standard contract procedures, not looking for anything free or comped...just want them to end a membership...and they won't respond for weeks by phone or email. Very strange experience from a new business. I don't recommend singing any contracts with them. read more

The nurse staff is great - friendly & knowledgeable. However, the front desk staff and current assistant manager take away from the experience and have ultimately led us to cancel our membership. The checkouts after receiving a service are painful (they are confused on how many points we have, if our services are covered by our points or not, etc.). A few more examples: 1- We once received a call from the front desk asking if we wanted to book a treatment since we have unused points - we booked a service. A few days later, we received a call telling us that we do not have enough points and need to pay for the treatment. 2 - We called them to suspend our membership for 3 months (which is a standard practice they allow) as we would be out of town. They followed up with a form we had to complete and sign. We completed, signed, and received a confirmation email. Today, we learned that one of our accounts was never frozen and they have been charging it the whole time. The assistant manager was brought to sort it out. She tried to explain that they do not get notification from their system and cannot track all requests. She then adds that after they received our completed forms, they sent us an email to confirm if we "still wanted to freeze our membership (i.e. in case we changed our minds)" and because we did not reply to that email, they continued charging. I am not sure why we would have to re-confirm after making a request via phone, then filling and signing a written request, AND receiving a confirmation of receipt. It is unfortunate as the services are useful and beneficial, but I don't thing any customer would wants to fund this type of experience and treatment. -Note other reviews on their questionable billing practice from about a year ago. I joined a few months ago when this location first opened. The employees were great and explained about their numerous services. Along with making appointments, they also attempted to accommodate for short walk-in services like cryotherapy or red light. Whenever I go in, they follow safety guidelines to ensure I have protection for cold or sunglasses for lights. Their lounge area is nice, with adjustable chairs. For this location, I continue to patronize regularly and encourage others to also do so. read more

Showed up for my 12pm appointment at 11:55am and the door was still locked- two women inside at the front desk looked at me, sat there eating goldfish, refused to look over at the door and blatantly ignored me, and would not answer the phone when I tried to call. It's cool if you can't open the door until 12, but don't completely ignore that I'm standing there outside. You can come to the door and let me know or answer the phone. If you open at 12 but ignore peoples' existence until 11:59.999, don't schedule someone for exactly 12:00. As someone who also works in the personal services/client accommodation industry, that's pure laziness for such "luxury" services. read more

The facility offers trial memberships which charge you for longer than discussed by the employee at the time you sign the contract. It is a dishonest way of doing business and does not meet the standards of the community. The place is clean and the chryo is great, but terrible customer service, If you ever try to freeze or cancel your membership. Last year, in person, I resquested to freeze the account for three months since I was going to be out of town. They did not freeze my account. Then in March 2023 I filled out a form to cancel my membership, and even received a reply stating that it was effective 30 days after the request and had 30 days to use any credits. Well here we are, 5 months later and they still charge me every month. Of course I disputed these charges but I should not have to do that if they were an honest business. Good luck calling corporate because they never answer neither call you back. I called the local business and they confirmed they saw my cancellation from March, and said the manager was going to call me back which never got the call. Instead the next day I received an email confirming my cancellation but as it was requested the day I called. I contacted my bank and they will not allow them to charge me anymore. You need a lot of patience because they will keep charging you until you dispute the charges with the bank. You will waste a lot time checking your statements, calling them, calling your bank and disputing. They make it very hard to cancel, this is a bad business practice. I do not recomend anyone to be a Restore member. read more
