In regards to the business the staff is friendly and somewhat knowledgeable of the outcomes of the lipo laser (only service I get). The owner is the most knowledgeable. So ask for her if you have any questions that are not answered. She's professional and very responsive. In regards to the treatment. If all you do is drink the amount of water they tell you and don't eat 1hr before this will not work for you. I've done the procedure both ways: 1. With the above instructions and 2. With the following: I got a professional trainer who has measured everything (inches, body fat, BMI, etc) and they also provide a meal plan for weight loss and muscle building. Every body is different so what works for me might not work for you. When meeting with my trainer 3-4 times a week, exercising on my own the rest of the week, sticking to my strict meal plan 5-6 days a week (had 1 cheat day on occasional weeks) not only did my stomach get flat, but my skin also retracted. My problem area is my lower belly, and the owner was worried that I would need a different treatment after lipo laser sessions because after the fat is dissolved that particular skin tends to be lose and sag, but this was not my case. This could be due to the workout sessions, or just my genes. But as I'm losing the fat in my belly, the lower belly skin is not sagging. My point is, this is a lifestyle change. I have gotten massages in so many places around the world and always had a great experience. I would feel so rejuvenated, relaxed, and be ready to go take a nap. But this time around....not so much. I guess I should have known this masseuse wasn't going to be good because he had a very cynical attitude from the start. He started out acted like I was late for my 7:00 appointment, but I was checking in at the front reception desk since 6:50. I was up there asking questions and getting more information on possibly getting a membership. If you was so concerned about me maybe being late why not take a trip to the front and see if the client has arrived. So after this less then stellar introduction he tried to make small talk. But again....in a very cynical type of way. Knowing I'm the last customer of the day I guess John really wasn't trying to do his best job. He told me he did "deep tissue" which I informed is good because of my shoulders, legs especially knees, and feet were my main issues. Why when he asked me why I came I said "because I'm sore from working out and my everyday job" he kind of "scoffed" as if this was a lame reason for me to come. See where I'm going with this... So the massage started and John was making all these weird sounds and noises throughout the ENTIRE session, but didn't really do anything remotely close to a massage. I get a better massage at the nail salon! He never touched my feet...acted like he couldn't do anything with my knees which I've never heard a masseuse say that before. And his supposedly special shoulder "technique" he kept emphasizing wasn't more then some pulling on my shoulder that I could have went to a chiropractor to do better. I don't know where this guy went to school because the service was horrible. I couldn't even relax and sleep like I usually do because of all this grunting and pulling he was doing. Afterwards he just left the room and I never even seen him again. This is the first time I have ever had an experience like this before and I would hope the last. Just imagine if I would have paid full price I would have felt robbed out of my money for the unpleasant experience. I was tempted to not give a "tip", but opted for $5 only because it was a Groupon and I didn't pay full price... Will I come again? Yes I'll give them a try but if John is the only one available I will pass. I like to give them the benefit of the doubt that their other masseuses are better. I called the office on Monday and no one answered and then visited as I was trying to be seen. A nice tech greeted me and I was kind to her and I left my callback number and message and was called the next day where the lady said she was sick and I asked if I could have their information to provide to the VA and she said they don't provide that. Then I said ok if they call will you be available later today as I'm in pain and she said no as she's sick and I said ok and we hung up. Then on Friday I contacted the VA and tried to get them to book me here but the office manager told the VA rep no they would not accept me as I was rude to the staff there. Again the above conversation was all we had at this point and then I visited the location and asked to see Dr Jo and she said she wasn't available and I asked for the other doctor and she said I'm the office manager how can I help you. I stated what took place and she said I was rude and they have the right to refuse service. I walked out stating this was ridiculous and they were refusing service to a disabled vet. AVOID this location they don't care about disable vets as a guy who served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia I've got PTSD and have been in extreme pain do to my service and I heard these people were good but I guess I was wrong. The office manager has the worst customer service ever. Avoid this place. Update: As I sat in the car writing this review she went to the local postnet business to tell them that I was harassing her and then called the cop on me as I went into the postnet to buy a box. Not sure what her deal is maybe she was intimidated by a brown guy, or maybe she doesn't like brown people, or maybe she's against veterans not sure. Hopefully the doctor reads this.
