Restaurant Pluto proves that Copenhagen is a foodie city. Across the street from a top-rated burger spot inside a gas station is this quaint restaurant with a large dining room and sidewalk seating with heaters during the winter. My friend and I went on a Saturday October evening and snagged a table outside without a reservation. Here's our experience: 1) Food: The entire menu looks well done, but we opted for two very different smaller dishes. I ordered the gyoza with mushrooms and chili and it had an appropriate kick that made the dish stand out. My friend ordered the stracciatella, tomatoes, pistachio pesto and raddichio dish and was impressed. 2) Service: It's attentive, friendly and efficient. If you love good fo0d, make this spot a stop. Opened in 2012, it's part of Copenhagen Michelin Gourmet Bib list.

You're going to want to be my best friend! Because I'm going to tell right now you now, YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE. Was here on holiday and had very limited time - but let me tell you, this place is worth the visit. worth the trip to Copenhagen! It was actually one of the best meals i've ever had, anywhere in the world. That was how much we enjoyed the food, service, atmosphere. We came for dinner. We debated to go a la cart or the tasting menu because we weren't that hungry (we actually ate a lot before because we were hungry getting off the plane), so why not save a few krones. But my better half said he thought the tasting menu would be the better experience --- and I'm SO GLAD WE DID THE TASTING MENU!!! The progression of the food and the exact sequence of plates was perfect. We really liked how thoughtfully they started with trio of bites, then went into the fancy meats and fish, but also playful veggie plates like the beats, to the pot pie at the end right before dessert (as if just to make sure you don't leave hungry -- but actually we were very very full and didn't finish the pot pie to make tiny bit of room for dessert). The dishes themselves were all beautiful. And after admiring the colors and plating, it all tasted magical!! The flavors were bold, comforting, but also very refined. I love that the food was brilliant but at the same time approachable and not arrogant - and that was the whole vibe of the restaurant. Like fancy but so down to earth at the same time! And after the whole meal, having tasted everything and experienced the service, the price really is a bargain. And last bit about this restaurant, it was VERY BUSY on the thursday night when we went. So I would recommend making a reservation, or show up at the restaurant when opening like we did (and still I think we got very lucky to be seated).

Very good selection of tapas. I forgot to take the picture of a couple plates, but long story short we got a variety of meats, flavors and textures. Totally worth it. Staff was friendly: very good English. Prices were fair. Recommend.

Pluto hits it in every category. Bistro style restaurant, open late, lively atmosphere. Diverse crowd, mixed age groups. Service was genuine, sincere, accommodating. Bartender took the time to explain how Akvavit is produced, and the difference in varietals. Best part is the food, with interesting menu items , creativity prepared. Sardines, anchovies, quail, pate, wild boar... all available...freshly prepared. Oh, and they serve bread too, wonderful Danish bread. Well considered wine selection, full bar, beers. Pluto is an out-of-this-world experience with prices still with our solar system.

What a great experience! I went here with some "customers" after a meeting in the ministry of education.. We had preordered their 12 course menu including welcome drink and coffee (600DKK) and some had the paired wine menu (+500DKK). The 12 courses (which was actually 13) came in a "family style" which means you share the plates.. They were served 4, 4, 3 and 2.. Everything was super delicious, interesting and very tasty! We had 3 vegetarians and 1 with nut allergy in the group, and they all had special food accomplished food - which all looked super delicious, as well! The staff and service were overall really great, and I'll highly recommend Pluto! Both for smaller intimate groups and for larger groups.

I'm pretty sure I've been hearing about Pluto since it opened. I have this coworker foodie confidant who, every time I have seen him since he first mentioned it, has asked if I've been yet. He's been at least 10 times. Seriously. So I finally went with two girlfriends in tow. And holy 12-course-family-but-also-tapas-style-awesome, batman. I wish I could remember everything we ate, because it was so so so good, but the menu is made daily and I didn't write anything down, so you'll have to rely on the pictures in order to whet your palate (without getting into the finer details of how things were prepared, we were offered 4 courses with fish, 2 vegetarian, 4 with meat or poultry, and 2 desserts). Pro-tip: come hungry. And unless you haven't eaten in a week, I think the 12 course tasting menu will suffice for most people.

They deserve a 5 Star because of their food and by far the best value for your buck! Must come try it when in Copenhagen.

The portions are extremely small and the "concept" is to share a plate between 4-5 people at the table. When we reached the dessert we had to share a plate with 3 small ice cream scoops between 5 people...

Tasty food in a fun atmosphere. Large wine selection fresh local ingredients. Eat to share if you want to do a bunch of small plates.

Came here for the schnitzel, which was super lightly breaded and tender, delicious brown butter…read moresauce with umami from the anchovies and capers in the sauce. The accompanying potato salad was light and vinegar/olive oil based rather than mayo based, which was a nice contrast to the rich brown butter sauce. Ambiance is super cute, exposed beams and brick, the old Noma spot. Great date night. Waiters were friendly and recommended their cider (specifically made for Barr) which reminded us of a sour + an orange wine. Spaeztle with chanterelle mushrooms was very savory, a little too rich for my liking but my partner loved it. One minor issue we had was the brown crab dish's crab was overpowered by the bitter char on the romaine lettuce, and I thought too little crab per bite.

The biggest draw here is probably the location. Being in Noma's former space naturally creates…read morecertain expectations, but it's important to walk in understanding that this is not Noma, and the experience doesn't try to be. Overall, we had an enjoyable meal, but nothing truly stood out. The food was good, not great. We ordered the schnitzel, which was perfectly serviceable, but not particularly memorable or elevated in a way that justified the buzz surrounding the restaurant. It felt more like a solid neighborhood meal than a destination dining experience. The service was where the experience fell a bit flat for us. This isn't unique to this restaurant, but we've found much of Scandinavia's dining culture to be less hospitality-driven than what we're accustomed to elsewhere. The staff was polite enough, but there wasn't much warmth, engagement, or effort to create a memorable experience. It felt more transactional--food arrives, you're checked on occasionally, and that's about it. The atmosphere is pleasant, and we certainly didn't leave disappointed. We enjoyed our evening and had a nice meal. That said, given the history of the space and the reputation that comes with it, we left feeling that the experience didn't quite live up to the expectations. Worth a visit if you're curious about the location, but not a place I'd go out of my way to revisit.

It's grime-y in a charming way but stay away if any grime bothers you. It's dingy on the inside with some nice sidewalk seats, but reeks of old cigarettes either way. Lots of folksjust hanging out for some drinks and people watching. For this they had high chairs and baby friendly. The service is great. They give of the air of not GAF but are actually attentive and charming. Food came or relatively quickly on a Friday night which was good with a hungry child. They were happy to explain things on the menu and even suggested a few things for substitution. Funnily everyone comes into the restaurant, loclas and tourirsts alike, acting confused where to sit or if there's a queue and after a dramatic pause the barkeep tells them to sit wherever and right on. The food was good. The menu looks very basic and doesn't do the food justice. The 3 salads accompanying each meal are listed without description or fanfare. You don't know which ones you'll get. We got four different ones in combination for two entrees. Even the chicken satay we ordered for our little one came with two salad sides. Two out of four were great, the others bland. Each salad is about 1/4 of a cup, fairly small. The sesame seaweed with ginger and heirloom tomato salads rocked. The guacamole (really just smash avocados without seasoning) and cabbage salad (no dressing, plain with two honeyed almonds on top) were uninspiring. We got the Manilla tofu and beef lasagna as the main dishes. The Manilla tofu was cooked just right with great sauce and an ample portion of protein compared to your average Nordic experience. The beef lasagna was decadent. It was more reminiscent of mousaka than lasagna, cheesy, pillowy, creamy, and very thin Al dented pasta. Not a whole lot of meat but very flavorful and filling. The drink list was pretty good. I had a nice primotivo for only 55 Kr. Whole bottles are reasonable finds at good prices. They also serve half bottles I'm carafes. Good brew selection too. Prices were fair for the fare. Much less expensive than many surrounding restaurants. Overall, great spot. Good to hang or eat. Not pretentious but just good enoufh food.

At Den Lille Fede, they offer a 5-course and a 7-course meal, both with the option of wine pairings for each course. Since it was a special occasion, we went for the seven course dinner with wine pairings. Though I'm not usually a white wine drinker, favoring bold reds instead, I tasted three white wines that became instant hits because of their complexity, balance of acidity and refreshing minerality, accenting the dish paired with it. A few of the most memorable courses were: umami beans, egg, and truffle; fried hake fish with paper-thin potato slices and roasted malt (even my seafood-avoidant partner said she loved this fish); ribeye and beets with a tangy and savory refined BBQ sauce; and raspberry sorbet with peach and cream. Though it can easily become an expensive evening, especially for traveling Americans and others who aren't used to above-average Scandinavian pricing, I highly recommend Den Lille Fede for a special occasion and the experience of a long meal, vibrant flavors throughout a variety of interesting and beautiful dishes, and the professional and accommodating staff who led us through the meal. Expect to spend between $44 (for 5-course meal with no beverage pairings) to $113 per person (if you get the 7 courses, the wine pairings, and cava and coffee.

I went for the venison, with whipped potatoes and berry compote. The venison was past tender into soft --- good, but not what I was hoping for. My wife got fish, with a salmon-spinach souffle, some fennel, shrimp, fried potatoes, and a good helping of creamy sauce.
