Restaurant Tight serves elevated food in a casual atmosphere. Everything was executed well. I ordered and enjoyed: * Mushroom toast: shiitake mushrooms, candied chestnuts, truffle cream, and organic crystal cheese * Surf'n'turf: beef tenderloin, tiger prawns, mango salad, and brandade croquettes * BBQ pork ribs, potato gratin, and Nordic coleslaw with roasted almonds and apples * Bailey's parfait: dark chocolate cake with forest berry foam and blueberries I saw someone order the burger which was sandwiched between focaccia bread -- that looked delicious. I want to return with a group next time, so I can try more dishes. read more

my review a year ago was of a place that no longer offers the sublime food I returned for tonight. $85 for meat with over 60% gristle and fat and cold, flavorless accoutrements on the plate. A dull pilsner. Screaming child. Smokers. Carpaccio was good but not worth $85. They offered to give me the same dinner for free. Hilarious. read more

Nice looking place but . . . People who were seated long after us finished both their appetizers and dinners before our entrees were delivered. When we had asked our waitress about the delay, she said the kitchen was backed up -- clearly not the case. She then immediately brought our orders. My wife's Surf and Turf was stone cold. Clearly it had just been sitting around, waiting. My lamb was good temperature. No apologies for inordinate delay - and no inquiry regarding our food even after we left half the food on the plate. Not recommended. read more

Restaurant Tight is one of those spots in Copenhagen that hits the perfect balance between cozy and spacious. Despite its warm, intimate vibe, the restaurant actually has plenty of room, spread across two floors so you never feel cramped, even on a busy evening. It's a great place to settle in for a relaxed meal without feeling rushed. Their menu offers both à la carte options and a prix fixe, which makes it easy to tailor the experience depending on your mood. One dish I always look forward to is their mushroom toast, It's rich, savory, and incredibly satisfying. Their fish dishes are also consistently excellent, cooked with care and full of fresh, bright flavors. Whether you're looking for a comfortable dinner spot or a place to enjoy well-prepared Nordic-inspired dishes, Restaurant Tight is a solid choice. It's the kind of restaurant you walk out of already planning your next visit. read more

Our party of four had a fabulous evening at Restaurant Tight. It was our first night in Copenhagen and I can only hope that the rest of our vacation meals are just as good! The host was very welcoming and service by Penny was wonderful. The food was delicious and served at a very satisfying pace. The steak was exactly the temp I asked for, the lamb was off the charts good, the mussels were delicious, and the roasted chanterelles were thoroughly enjoyed by us all. A bonus was the fun pedestrian neighborhood where the restaurant was located! read more

After a 10+ hour flight, I wanted to eat somewhere casual and cozy. Restaurant Tight was just around the corner from where I was staying, and did not disappoint! The vibes were exactly what I was hoping for. It looks small when you first walk in, but surprisingly, it can accommodate quite a few people. What I thought would be a quiet evening turned out to be a bit louder than I wanted. I sat upstairs, and from the balcony, I could see large, boisterous parties below. I ordered the Surf 'n' Turf, which featured a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak, tiger prawns, and shellfish croquettes, all beautifully plated on top of lobster sauce. I'd definitely return, though next time, I'm hoping for a quieter service! read more

Friendly staff, great food, I had the seafood category. Nice vibe for a solo dinner. Arrive by 8 to find a seat. Cheesecake amazing.

I stopped by for lunch after walking around the city/doing sightseeing. Had Caesar salad - with juicy chicken and bacon...nice portion and perfect lunch for me! The server was friendly and polite (in fact, I never had bad service while in the region). The ground level of the restaurant is perfect for people watching, btw! read more

Still in Copenhagen decided to try out a new restaurant this time. Nordik cuisine with southern flair... that was an amazing experience from the food to the service and atmosphere, everything was exquisite!!! Most item are GF with a very knowledgeable staff... i highly recommend and will definitely be back!! I had the Miso salmon appetizer and the Jerusalem artichoke main course... Why is it called Tight? Cause it's tight quarters...reservations is probably a good idea! read more

Very nice. Good food. Quite overpriced however, even by Copenhagen standards. Service was very neglectful.

I was looking for a place to eat late on a Friday night. Many restaurants kitchens had closed early or were full. I walked up the host stand and was able to get seating for myself around 9:30. Score. Inside is very warm, cozy and inviting. Staff was very kind and helpful. It was a busy Friday night, so service was a bit spaced out. I chose the lamb which suggested a glass of Beaujolais to go with it. The meal was phenomenal - fantastic flavoring which went well with the wine. It was a great way to end the evening. I'd absolutely recommend coming if nearby. read more

The portions were very very small for the price and both the waitstaff and the kitchen were slow. They had no tables for walk ins within 2 hours of when we tried to eat, and so we sat at minuscule slanted outdoor chairs. Food was pretty good but was more basic than it should have been. read more

Visited at 5pm on a Sunday night and the restaurant was suprisingly empty. I didn't come with super high expectations but the food here was absolutely amazing. I am so glad Gasoline Burger ran out of meat! So although I had browsed at this restaurant's reviews earlier in the day I decided I wanted the burger everyone claims is the best...luckily for me they ran out at two locations. So I decided to make my journey back to my hotel and hoped that I would find something along the way. As I was doing so I was looking at my google maps in which I noticed the name "Tight". I'm like hey that's that restaurant I looked at...question was, were they going to take me without a reservation, being that most of the nice restaurants in the area require one. I took my chances and went down the side street. The hostess ask wether I had a reservation, I replied no, a young man looked at her and pointed to the table in the corner. She said I'll just have to clean that for you. Perfect! Everything here was great from the food to the service to the ambience. My G&T wasn't watered down and it was quite large, so you're definitely getting your moneys worth. The lobster bisque was delightful. The hake dish was so damn delicious, I've never had hake before and I doubt anyone back home can make it as good at this one was. It was so flavorful! Closed it off with a yummy apple and blueberry crumble. read more

The service was excellent. We walked in without making a reservation, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to be seated in less than 5 minutes. We ordered veal tenderloin with mushrooms and potatoes, and BBQ baby back ribs with salad and potatoes. The pork was from a local organic farm. The veal was very tender and juicy, and the ribs were fantastic, flavorful and crunchy. Both were delicious. I highly recommend this place. read more

Went to Tight when we were shopping in copenhagens best shopping street and so glad we got to try it out! This place feels upscale and cozy and the interior is pretty. The place was great. I think you need a reservation to get seated as there weren't many tables that were empty. It has a nice restaurant/bistro vibe. Lots of people talking and having a good time while the drinks and food were really good. I got the tuna starter, lamb main course, and a dessert as well. Tuna and dessert was a 8/10, but I gotta say the lamb might be a 9-10/10. It might be because it's not a rack of lamb and it's an actual fatty piece of lamb. Good ratio of meat to fat and was cooked to perfection. I think I was recommended either this or the fish in white sauce, but I opted with the meat. Staff was also very attentive for what we were looking for in the restaurant as well. Reciprocated the energy forsure. read more

This is a quirky little place serving delicious food. This was a totally random find as a group of us wandered the streets of central CPH in search of a dinner after a long flight. The place is quirky yet cozy (several rooms on multiple levels that you might get lost in :)) and is perfect for a nice long dinner with friends. Food-wise, this place delivers: my gratinated eggplant with goat cheese was a pure delight of all senses. Can't say the dessert was equally impressive, but it could be just my preference for classic gelato over the richer version of ice-cream. We had the servers' attention when we needed it. When we came in, it was pretty empty but by 6 pm or so the place was packed! So a reservation is recommended. read more

I wouldn't go out of my way to try this place. We ordered the surf and turf--the meat was cooked well, but the mango salsa and accompanying sauce clashed with the flavors rather than complementing them. The baby back ribs were another miss: the potatoes were bland and oddly sour, and the ribs themselves were dry, with the sauce desperately trying (and failing) to save the dish. As for the crab rillette, it didn't taste fresh--it felt more like a generic seafood mash haphazardly slapped onto bread. With so many great dining options in Copenhagen, this one just isn't worth your time, money, or appetite. read more

I've been to Tight multiple times. For starters, I've had the Foie Gras which is ok. That said, the burger is the star of the show and one of the best in CPH. The ciabatta style bread instead of traditional bun gives it a bit of a twist. For dessert, the chocolate lava cake is excellent! The Surf and Turf looked quite popular and will try that next time.
