We discovered Barry's thru Yelp & we were glad we did! We were met at the front by Melanie & she became our super hero. The place was packed, but she found us a nice table near a window & then Marlena & Muna took on the duties of making our dinner a fun & enjoyable experience. My wife & I both had the burger & fries meal. The servings were huge & the service was impeccable. Someone mentioned in another review that the hamburger tasted different than USA burgers. We concur. It tasted different, but we woofed them down anyway. So, head to Barry's whilst in Grindelwald if you want a great experience..multi national menu choices, awesome service, great customer care. Fast service & cool drinks. And be sure to say hello to Melanie, Muna & Marlena!

It was better than pretty much all the food I had all around Switzerland. The waitress was surprised when I said it, but their food was so good! I really enjoyed every single dish we had. Cordon bleu, sausage and rosti, and apple strudel. All three were so good! And the apple cider spritz was perfect for this sunny day. I really like this place and will definitely find a way to make it back here in the future.

So we showed up and asked to sit outside where there were several empty tables but were told that they were reserved!?!? Eventually they sat us outside. So they wanted one of us to stay there hostage while the other one went to the ATM about five minutes away. We had offered to mail them a check as soon as we got home but that fell on deaf ears. All in all a very poorly run operation despite the quality of the food.
