We came here for a hockey game with Canadiens against the Jets.
We reserved to have a dinner table for 2 about one hour before the game started. Ask to get the seats by the window to take in the view. if you are fortunate to go,you need to be a season ticket holder or come during another type of event. The restaurant was packed and buzzing with excitement. The cool part is you can leave your table, go to the game and come back for dessert during the intermissions or any time before the game ends.
The service was very pleasant and efficient. For the menu you can choose the buffet or order from a limited selection on the menu. The buffet is best, the selection is vast and there is enough variety to suit many tastes. This night they several salad dishes, sushi and maki, roast beef, two types of pasta, soup, sweet potatoes, chicken and salmon. The food was delicious and cooked or prepared very well for a buffet. I had mango salad, sushi, rotini pasta with veal, some roast beef and sweet potatoes.
The dessert is extensive with various cakes, pies, and cookies. This night crepe Suzette's were also available.
For the health minded, there were various berries, cantaloupe, melon and pineapple on the dessert table. The price is reasonable considering you are in the Bell Centre in downtown Montreal.
