First time that I've ever been here and did not know that it was a chain that had several locations…read morein and around town. Came to the one in Brossard and note that there is free parking that is available. I ordered the fish and chips with the Caesar salad for an appetizer. I knew this place was gonna be pricey, but at least the decor helped match the ambiance of the food. Drinks were a very reasonable price and the food was delicious. A bit a bit pricey for the appetizers. A Caesar salad was in the $15 range my colleagues who had the beef tour said it was delicious and very fresh. My fish and chips came with a side of peas, which I personally didn't care for, but it did add a little bit of colour to the plate. The fish was very tender and crispy, and the fries were seasoned just right. For dessert had a chocolate mousse which topped off tonight beautifully. The place looks very luxurious inside and reminds me of a nice warm inviting restaurant. Service is top-notch with our waiter being needed and not there when not needed. I would definitely recommend this for a date night or any special occasion as they can accommodate any size groups as long as you reserve ahead of time.

Pooh and I have been wanting to experience this restaurant for a while now. The atmosphere was…read moreupscale without being pretentious. We wanted to try the Tomahawk but it wasn't on the menu so we decided to do steak on another day. To drink we ordered the apple cider. The cider was delicious and very crispy like I was eating a Cortland apple. We were served crispy bread with herb butter. The bread was crispy like toast and the butter was soft. It came with a small jar of baby dill pickles. They had a good crunch! We started with the lobster bisque. This bisque was very tasty. We could taste the lobster and it was very light; not a heavy or overly creamy soup. Pooh ordered the seafood risotto and I took the Dijon chicken. Both dishes were amazing. Pooh really enjoyed his risotto. He likes the addition of zucchini to give it a little crunch . The seafood was cooked to perfection. My chicken was super tender. I could taste the Dijon mustard. The mashed potatoes were smooth and the green beans were crispy and cooked perfectly. Our server was very polite and checked on us regularly. He apologized for not getting the wine when our meal arrived. Our only complaint was the wine. Usually the wine arrives right before the meal but our meal arrived first and we ate slowly as we waited for the wine to come. The wine arrived five minutes later and the server explained that it wasn't cold enough to give us. By the time I finished eating (because we had to wait for the wine) my potatoes were cold. We finished our evening with dessert. I had the lemon-in-a-jar and Pooh had the Crème brûlée. Pooh's crème brûlée was perfect. My lemon dessert was too sweet. The tartness of the lemon was overpowered by the sweetness of the almond crumble We enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent but they need to put the white wine in a cooler sooner.

Here's the thing: How do you drive to Brossard from Montreal to make sure you can arrive for dinner…read moreat a friend's place at 19:00? It's dicey, leave at a reasonable time, get stuck in traffic and be late... leave a bit earlier to be safe and arrive WAY early! Well, we were more than an hour early so we tried to find a place to have a drink and eat a little appetizer to kill time. The place looked fine for that. That Friday night, they had an happy hour on beef or salmon tartar, $10 for a generous portion. The place is kind of weird and definitively look like a gathering of older suburb gentlemen getting a drink and looking at the young waitresses. Service is slow but the tartar was good, and a good value. All in all, it did served our goals.

We went on a Sunday evening, place was quiet, 3/5 VLTs occupied, 2 folks inside otherwise, one table of 4 on the patio. Ordered a beer, 5 minutes later the sole server comes back to apologize, that draft line is out but she "was told it was in". Uh, OK? Turns out she's calling a manager about every little thing. My partner ordered a rum and coke, asked for an amber or a dark rum. She comes back a couple minutes later to ask him what his order was again, and shortly after I heard her on the phone asking where the amber rum was. "To the back and to the right? I can't see it!" Hilarious if you're just killing time, which we were. She spent most of her time flirting in a middle school-esque manner with an intoxicated 40-something man in a mix of french and english. Given she was maybe 18, the whole interaction felt like we were watching a bad old 80s sit-com. I won't be back but this place was good for a laugh.

The spouse of our friend had made…read morereservations over a week in advance, but the restaurant had no record of it, but since the dining room was empty, they were able to accommodate the ten of us. After some time with the menu, and pitchers of water having been delivered to the table, the server came to take our orders, food and drinks together. The appetizers were delivered before most of the drinks, with one guest not receiving their appetizer until the mains were being delivered. The server had a bit of a hard time remembering who had what, but with some direction, everything was delivered eventually. The food was nice. We had the Lahori fried fish, nicely spiced, fish cooked really well. My partner and I shared the Combo 2 with white meat chicken kahari, beef kebab, and garlic naan. The chicken was cooked very well. The curry paste was tasty. The kahari was served in a large metal bowl, very nice touch. I really enjoyed the kebab as well. The naan was factory made, not fresh. That was a bit disappointing. My fraise rose was delicious. My partner had a mango lassi and said it was acceptable but a bit too thick. The meal had a good spice level throughout. The portions are generous and very filling. Good value for money, however the menu does not make it clear that most dishes seem to be intended for sharing. At the end of the meal, it took some time for dessert to come out (included with the meal), and it seems only some people were asked if they wanted tea or coffee, our side of the table was not. Towards the end, the server simply stood at the other end of the table and asked, generally, if anyone wants anything else. The service might have been better on a busier day, but at 1pm on a Sunday, it was lacking a bit, and we felt a little bit like an inconvenience, even though we were the only people there. We would go back, just maybe for an evening date.

We ordered three appetizers, naan, and one main course. The items came out quickly and hot, and the waitstaff checked with us when each item came out to make sure we liked it.
