Wow this place is amazing. Did have a bit of an issue with staffing from what I could tell and everyone was super overwhelmed but we had a party of like 20. Service 7/10 but they honestly did really try their best. I think they messed up on some things. Food 10/10 I mean this is literally fine dining and it shouldn't be any less. Everything was delicious Vibe 10/10 definitely dress up so that you don't stick out like a sore thumb but everyone seemed classy and like they just wanted a nice night out. Excellent steakhouse! - Great decor that fits the downtown wall street environment it exists in. Service is very attentive and professional. And the steaks ? Truly worth the visit! Things weren't bad. Low expectations and one of the few kosher only restaurants I've been to. Mushroom soup was ok. Expected more truffle oil than there was. Crispy tuna rice was mediocre. Filet was cooked very nicely. However, the ribeye people ordered for $90-$100 was thin. It looked like they got the steak from Shoprite. Many complaints from the table about it. Everything else was okay. Would not return. Not if I had to pay for it. read more

The food is decent but I got a virgin pina colada for $18 that was 99% ice. When I complained, the waiter said to me "it's been served" essentially telling me to F*** off. I wouldn't go back. They obviously feel very full of themselves and don't value your business. read more

The tuna truffle one was my favorite. -Wagyu that they cook table-side on a hot rock. Loved how they bushed it with ponzu. Definitely a show stopper and super yummy. -Meat tacos. Didn't get try them because the boys got to them before me. But I heard they were good. For my main course I got the fillet mignon and it was HUGE. A perfect medium, pink center. We got matched potatoes, mushroom, shoshito peppers and green beans for sides. The last one was a standout. Super flavorful. I absolutely love coming to this restaurant from the service of the staff to the delicious meals that they prepare. By far the best sushi I've ever had a steakhouse. I am blown away, I had to order it twice. This location is quite hard to find if you have not familiar with the area, there's a side entrance to get to the elevator and the restaurant itself is on the second floor. There's no signage outside so it seems to be one of those internet or word of mouth locations. The design inside is gorgeous and the wine hallway is photo worthy! I appreciated the service, waiters were attentive and always checking on us. Overall the wagyu was good, a little too fatty which was annoying but the rest was great nonetheless. A beautiful restaurant with great staff. Food is a bit overpriced. You are going here for the experience rather than the food. My favorite item was their french fries even though we also ordered their rack of lamb (heavy), short rib tacos (heavy), volcano roll, spicy tuna on crispy rice (more spicy than expected), and baby back rib (too dry/was sent back). I recommend their cocktails and wine. Avoid driving since parking is a headache. 3.5 star rating that will be rounded up since they knew we couldn't order a dessert item but they made us something special on the house. My advice to the chef: your food is delicious but a bit too heavy. Try adding something to cut the heaviness. For example, you do provide a salsa for the short rib tacos despite it amount of salsa being a small amount, try adding some cilantro and pickled red onions to cut the fat and marry the flavors together even more. read more

Reserve cut is probably the premier Kosher Steakhouse in New York City. I was treated to a fantastic afternoon at Reserve Cut. Full disclosure, I did not pay nor did I see the bill however I have to imagine it was easily $200 per person based on the menu and what was ordered. To start we ordered a beautiful Sushi platter, the spicy Tuna was seriously as good as it gets, the crispy rice with spicy tuna was fantastic. The roasted beef ribs were incredible, perfect combination of seasoning, and slow roasted beed goodness. Short Rib tacos were the weakest item but were still a solid dish. The Waygu appetizer was cooked table side and I was not terribly impressed, I wouldn't order it again. Entrees included Rib steak, Tomahawk and Lamb chops. The 2 steaks were fantastic, the waiters recommended medium rare, while I would definitely prefer a slightly higher temperature. 2 guests at our table asked for a higher temperature closer to well done and the waiter graciously brought the steak back to the kitchen to put them back on the fire. The lamb chops were not the best I have had and I would not recommend ordering them. The mushrooms and French fry sides were terrific. The dessert platter was quite impressive, the apple tart, chocolate volcano, mousse and lemon meringue were all fantastic. The wine list is truly impressive, they offer what I think is the largest and finest Kosher wines available. Service was impeccable. The decor is beautiful. This was the best NYC dinner of 2020! Everything was perfection, every appetizer, side dish and bite of steak was scrumptious. Thanks to my best friend who keeps a kosher diet, I get to sample the best kosher restaurants in town. The outdoor setup is super chic and classy but we went on a chilly night and opted to dine indoors. Capacity is reduced indoors, in observation of city rules and guidelines. This was my first indoor dining in the city since the pandemic and I was made to feel safe and at ease. The presentation of each dish was photo worthy and every bite was memorable. I'm not kosher. I didn't know there was a thing as a kosher steakhouse. Not only was this the BEST steak I've had in my life, but everything else we ate - from the wine selections and sushi appetizer to pistachio crusted salmon entree and berries dessert. Not only have I been to a handful of steakhouses around the world (both kosher and non-kosher), but I have made steak enough times that I truly know what good and mediocre steak it. So so fresh and well seasoned and beautifully plated. We saw some people get their stela flambéed so we decided to get that too, although it would've tasted better grilled rather than with a sauce. You'll notice most of the other patrons are Jewish and wealthy businessmen in which the only customers the staff looks forward catering to. So if you do not look like them or have someone of Jewish descent in your party, be advised. Our server not only got our order wrong, he judged us for not ordering more than a single steak for the table then completely ignored us the entire time. The servers assisting our table cleared our plates before we were ready and we were not offered another cocktail. When one of the staff did notice our drinks ran low, we asked for the cocktail menu which was brought to us, then taken from us before we even got to put in our drink order. I was a guest at a birthday dinner on Monday, Jan. 15th. It was a 60th birthday celebration with 30 women. We all dine at this restaurant often, and usually enjoy it very much. However, that was not the case on Monday. The food was really poor. The soup was served cold, the sushi was very simple, the salads were not enough. The main course was very basic and was served warm, not hot. Needless to say that the host paid a lot of money for the table, but everyone was complained and was very disappointed. My coworkers and I came here for lunch during restaurant week and had a really nice time. I loved the decor of the restaurant, especially the hallway with the wine bottles. To start i got the sushi as the appetizer, it was good, although a bit too much rice for my taster. For the entree i got the steak, it looked about half the size of what everyone else got but it was so delicious! it came with carrots and potatoes and an amazing steak sauce on the side that really brought the whole dish together. the steak was cooked perfectly and the veggies done really well as well. Had an exquisite experience here in October, but a really bad one in May. Maybe they're adjusting to the post-COVID era? The dining room was filled with noisy patrons, children running around, and we were seated next to a stroller. The restaurant felt like a Kosher restaurant in the basement of a JCC, not an elegant wall street steakhouse. The food served was solid, but the service was horrendous. We were rushed by our waiter. He never asked us for a drink order. He kept swinging by our table and pressing us to order within 5 or 10 minutes of sitting down. We told him we weren't ready yet, and then he was impossible to get a hold of the rest of the night. Our food was slung at us like a diner. The check was snatched up without so much as a thank you. I truly felt like I was grabbing a burger at a college bar. Part of this might have occurred because we were seated in a strange spot -- in the doorway between the main dining room and the side one. We were initially seated in the main dining room but we couldn't hear each other between the blaring music and several large groups shouting at each other at neighboring tables... again, not quite the vibe you expect from a top-notch NYC steakhouse. read more

So, I only dine kosher when in the company of my Jewish friends. Thus, this is 3 star range for me. I'd probably rate this a 4 if I were keeping kosher, though. Does that make sense? The restaurant is beautiful inside with excellent service. I happened to be with someone who was very rude to the waitstaff, but they handled it with grace. It was more annoying for me to have to say "thank you" for the both of us. Anyway, super attentive to all details - water refills, plate clearing, timing, etc. Personally, I didn't love the food. I was just on meat overload. We had the short rib tacos, which I wasn't into at all. It was heavy and juicy + and then I watched my friend squirt taco juice all over himself, then he dipped his cloth napkin into water to completely soak the front of shirt....ahhhh....it was terribly unattractive. We also had the beef jerky; it wasn't bad, but it's not my style. Neither appetizer was memorable (aside from watching it being violently eaten from across the table). It was a winner to half of my party. My filet was tough by non-kosher filet standards. I think it was good for where we were, though. I'd go with a more fatty cut in the future. Fries were crunchy, a plus. Dessert was well presented. All drinks were great - I had a couple dirty Grey Goose martinis, as well as some jasmine tea. The meal was $350 - and when I looked at the check, he tried to tip just 20 dollars. Terribly ashamed by that and glad I caught it to add cash to the tip! The most gorgeous kosher restaurant I have ever been and YES THE FOOD IS TO DIE FOR (well not literally, but you know what I mean)! We got all appetizers and shared them which was more then enough (the portions were very generous). From the "sea" we got the Tuna Tartare and RC Crispy Rice and Spicy Tuna - both 10/10. From the "land" we got the Short Rib Tacos and Wagyu Short Rib Steamed Buns - both 10/10 as well! The suggested cocktail to me from the waiter was "The Riverside" which was so delicious and refreshing. We could not leave without having dessert so we decided to try a little bit of everything with the Chocolate Tasting which again was 10/10. Honestly the entire meal was perfect and there was nothing to complain about besides the service not being as great as you would hope, but I am still rating it five stars because the food is really that incredible.
