Chris spent a half hour on the phone selling the value of what they were doing. In the end, they beat the other guys by over $1000 on a $12,000 job, I got a better quality pike, and got the work done the very next day. They didn't leave a mess behind and that was important to me. Chris was on site to make sure it went well. There are a lot of fake reviews out there, but this is not one of them. If I need a plumber again (and I'm sure I will) I'm calling Pink Plumbing.

When he came back, it was a different experience. The wrong type of tape and pipe connector was used for a gas pipe that he installed in our kitchen. He used a type tape and a connector for water not gas. The wrong pipe connector type was not noticed until maintenance was being done. Bo discussed personal and political issues which isn't professional. He was there to do a job. He left the work area a mess and didn't attempt to clean up. Bo didn't appear to want to work. When he first arrived, he said he was unable to shut the main gas line off. We had to do it. He didn't have any WD-40 or other type of lubricant to complete the job, fortunately we had some available.

Within a few minutes I got a call from Henry Moreno, District Manager. Henry said he was not far from my location and could be here in a short time. When he arrived he spent a short time assessing the problem, and was quickly able to tell me what had been causing this problem for so long. Although the fix will be expensive, as there are two problems, I was really grateful that I finally had and answer after months of plumber visits and poor results. Their first action was to run scope down my sewer line below toilet and immediately informed me I had a severe invasion of tree roots. My expectations were they would run a root clearing rooter device down the pipe and clear the clogging. This did not happen, instead the Plumber immediately said they need to tear up the tile, concrete floor, dig up Sewer Line and install a new Sewer line with a cost of $4600 and this did not include replacing the stone flooring. I was pressed to sign a contract immediately which I did not do and I requested a written copy of this estimate and it was neither given to me or Emailed.They urged me to join the company Customer Service Plan to help cover some the of the cost and told me I should contact my Homeowner Insurance Policy to file a Claim stating water damage. I told them I would need to think about it and they left with the toilet in a non-usable situation. None of this set well with me and I decided I needed a 2nd opinion and called a retired independent Plumber who has 40 years of experience and additionally was a friend of my brother. He came to inspect and said the problem was a minor root issue which was not unusual and used his Auger style drain Rooter machine to clear the drain and installed new toilet mounting hardware, reinstalled toilet to operational condition. The total time to complete the work was 2 1/2 hours and the Charge for the work was a reasonable $320. I received a call the following day from Elite pressing me to move forward with their suggested repair which I immediately declined. Because I live in a retirement community and being an older senior, I feel this rises to the level of a near scam to take advantage of an old person. I do not recommend the firm and suggest getting a 2nd opinion before paying for what seems to be excessive repairs.

Tyler patiently re-drained the pipe, redid the repair, and spent time to ensure it would hold longterm. Overall great experience with Lawson, and will keep their number handy for the next time we need a plumber.
