The hole in the corner where the wet boards meet.
    Mae S.

My husband met with the sales representative without me. He then scheduled a time after I got off work to go over what was discussed at the first meeting with me. Everything checked out, we set up an install time and date, and everything was going fine to replace our main bedroom's bathtub and remove the shower so we could install more storage. We needed a shower stall and bathtub removed. They were to then place the double sized shower where the bathtub was. The walls around where the shower was were to be replaced with wet board, the hole where the drain used to be filled in with concrete (our home is on a concrete slab; so, the concrete to be placed is part of our foundation), and they were to finish with texturing the walls they replaced. The two guys who did all this work, plus the plumber were very nice, courteous to not let out our cat as they were going in and out, and they at least tried to keep the carpet clean by putting down cloth where they were walking. They did end up sprawling their things all over our bedroom and leaving open the bedroom window with very cool air coming in and the heater running. It took a good deal of elbow grease to clean the bathroom after they were gone as well. They picked up, but everything was left with a coating of dust and grime. The shower is beautiful, and it works very well. The non-skid base really isn't non-skid if there is any water or soap on it. The drain hole cover in the base was not properly put in, and it comes up very easily if the corner is stepped on. There is a fairly good size gap in the corner where two pieces of the wet board meet. The hole in our foundation was filled in with MORTAR. It cracked very soon after it dried. My husband has called a great many times to get this taken care of. He has had to take off work for two days to get the repair of at least the foundation taken care of, and they never showed up either of those two days. I am currently waiting for them to show up on their 4th or 5th attempt (I've lost count), and they are an hour and a half late with no call for an explanation as to why they're late. The company's customer service after installation is abysmal. I'm highly disappointed that something which cost about $20,000 doesn't have better representation for customer satisfaction after installation. Located in Marysville, WA

Update: The caulking was replaced. So we are happy for a new look overall but not getting the "wow factor" for the price. Maybe get multiple quotes before final decision. Besides that thanks to all at pacific bath.

    Cracked sealant.

Terrible job. I would not recommend this company to anyone. For a professional company that claims to have years of experience, our bathroom looked terrible. I was so upset when I saw the final job. From major gaps, to CHIPPED stone, to sealant ICICLES from a messy job, I am less than impressed. Total waste of money. :(

The installation of our new shower was super quick, the workers were on time, communicated what was happening, the plan for return on day two, conscientiously clean and professional at all times! The service was not cheap, but the value in having this done quickly and well is well worth the cost - highly recommend!

We were doing a full renovation of our home, including a full kitchen remodel. We decided to use Quartzite and understood there would be a number of challenges ahead, including very tight budget and time constraints. We had several contractors working simultaneously, and inevitably hit budget overruns and time delays. We interviewed and worked with several other major countertop vendors, and not only did their customer service leave much to be desired, but our selected vendor fell through at the last minute because they oversold their material. When we reached out to Evergreen, from the start everything was different. We were dealing directly with the owner, who supported us through the whole process, from slab selection to fitting, installation and everything in between. The quote was highly competitive and market-aware, payment was very straight forward and, though we had minor unforeseen issues, they were completely and masterfully handled. Even after the installation was done, we needed help with an issue that was totally outside his responsibility. In the end, we came out ahead of our remodel schedule, within budget, and with a fantastic kitchen. Truly, cannot recommend it further!

We went the other night, stopped at the restaurant first so my husband could eat some meatballs and I just ordered a side of mash and gravy. The meatballs were gross, the mash was bland but also had a funky taste. They do still have some good things like kitchenwares, those little heart cookies with the chocolate in the middle, frames, and some of their furniture that happens to be made of wood is still decent but even that it's become so flimsy. I went up to a curio cabinet I've seen before and just opening the doors and drawers you could tell the wood was thinner, flimsy and of course $100 more than last time I saw it. Everything is overpriced, cheaply made, and it kind of broke my heart because I loved that store. I collected their catalogues and still have them from 1999 until they stopped printing them.

Humph!.... Either you do... ? Or You Don't!…read more We wanted to consider a lazy-Susan for a blind-corner. .. our contractor worked with Krafter's land kitchen planner. Krafter's land only sales 'standard' cabinets. A standard Lay-Susan is 35 X 35 with a door opening of about 12-inches on each side. .. so.... How did my NON-Standard 33 X 33" lazy Susan come with 6" openings?.. 3-to- 6" inches less than the standard opening? I have three-Blind-Corners. Krafter's COULD-NOT accommodate a cabinet that would fill this whole area. They wanted me to accept a cabinet that would only fill part of this space. Hmmmm! Aren't blind corners a standard? And they don't accommodate? The planner's ambition seemed to desire to fill my walls with cabinets... it did not matter if the lower cabinets were aligned with the upper cabinets... did not matter. Putting in a two-door cabinet on one wall and putting two individual single cabinets across the way (thus minimizing my storage space).. and the there are the spacers .... An inch here, three inches there.. all eating up my precious storage space. Oh it Looks Gorgeous.... But nothing is aligned--- 4 cabinets up top, three on the bottom and none of the lines match. The cabinets themselves are beautiful!.... And I am a baker. I asked for roll-out shelves/drawers.... My baking shelf has 10# white flour, 10# wheat flour, 5# of both white and brown sugar..... guess what?.... Their roll-out shelves can-NOT carry this kind of a load... this load will cause dragging and musfunction. Hmmmm And the final clincher..... you buy- puck up and install--- they are yours. No returns. But they are pretty!

TASK: Remove existing backsplash and countertop and install a new backsplash and countertop…read more PROBLEM 1: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE COUNTERTOPS. Nothing was covered. All contents of the drawers were contaminated by demolition materials. In addition, during the demolition, the underlayment of the countertops was damaged. As stated in the contract, this was not to be addressed by Granite and Marble Specialists (GMS). Once the island countertop was removed, you could see that a heavy layer of glue remained on the underlay. The installers said that that was not their responsibility. They installed the countertop over the uneven underlayment of the residual glue. This meant that there were up to 1/2 inch gaps between the counter and the underlayment, stretching a span of 108.5 inches. Over time, this will lead to instability and breakage of the stone. The installers forged ahead and installed the new countertop independent of the gaps. The installers were adamant that they had installed the island countertop to level. RESULT: We had to remove the new countertop and have the surface sanded to level before having them reinstall the countertop. PROBLEM 2: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE BLACKSPLASH AFTER DEMOLITION. This meant that it was the homeowner's responsibility to install drywall and to make sure that the backsplash was level. The backsplash was 1.5 inches unlevel from one end of the backsplash to the other. Thus, in addition to the provision of drywall because the existing drywall was damaged during demolition, we had to shim the drywall to ensure the backsplash was level for the backsplash installation. RESULT: We had to go buy wood, cut it to the specific dimensions and install the new underlayment for the backsplash. IN SUM: GMS provided what the contract stated, an installed countertop and backsplash. It was not stated in the contract that it be level or that it be level to the degree that it was level prior to the new installation. The installers showed it to be level because the countertop was 108.5 inches long X 46 inches wide X 3cm deep. So, BEWARE. If this is the type of installation you are looking for, this is the organization for you.
