We had a very negative experience with this company. We paid 17,000 for a simple shower and cabinet cubby installed. It took six months to get it done and at least half a dozen times of them coming back because they didn't communicate with their employees on what needed to be done, they didn't bring the right tools or materials, or it looked horrible and had to be redone. On one visit, the bathroom was left a mess, with plaster sprayed all over the walls and shower, and dirt tracked through house. They even used our hose to clean their tools and left plaster drippings all over our patio. The framing and building of the pony wall looked incredibly unprofessional, and even though they sent someone else to fix it, the end result still wasn't great. I would never reccomend or hire this company again. read more

Super Disappointed. That's how I will start. Long initial meeting, it could have been much shorter after I made my decision. Pricing was high but I went with it anyway. I did have to move my original install date out a month. No problem there. Installer did call and arrived on time. They did take care to completely cover the stairs and hallway. During the install I requested I get back my rather expensive shower head and was told it was in the trash. I requested them to go find it. I was told they would ship another new showerhead. Wasn't happy but said OK. Install was done in one day and first look it appeared good. Next day I noticed the bulkheads of my newly installed steps had pulled away. I had to have the contractor come back and fix them. Then I noticed the edge of the shower where it didn't come to the edge of the wall. They tried to hide it with caulk. And the floor trim was angled...they put a smear of caulk there too. Totally looks unfinished. A follow up call with Mike (?), I explained about the wall edge and showerhead. He said call back if I didn't receive it. Fast forward one month, I still do not have my showerhead and no-one has contacted me about the terrible finish. I cannot recommend this company as the follow-up has been non-existent. And now I am in whole for a bathroom that isn't completed. NOR have I heard from them about even paying for it!! Most importantly DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING AT 1ST APPOINTMENT!! Salesman was very pushy & had us sign hot water waiver as he was telling me our existing was ok. The tub may be ok but the company is not. They left us with permanently stained carpet plus paint gouges in stair rail, walls, & door trim. We had to install new 17.5 K hot water system. In the end we have a $56,000.00 tub!! My husband met with the sales representative without me. He then scheduled a time after I got off work to go over what was discussed at the first meeting with me. Everything checked out, we set up an install time and date, and everything was going fine to replace our main bedroom's bathtub and remove the shower so we could install more storage. We needed a shower stall and bathtub removed. They were to then place the double sized shower where the bathtub was. The walls around where the shower was were to be replaced with wet board, the hole where the drain used to be filled in with concrete (our home is on a concrete slab; so, the concrete to be placed is part of our foundation), and they were to finish with texturing the walls they replaced. The two guys who did all this work, plus the plumber were very nice, courteous to not let out our cat as they were going in and out, and they at least tried to keep the carpet clean by putting down cloth where they were walking. They did end up sprawling their things all over our bedroom and leaving open the bedroom window with very cool air coming in and the heater running. It took a good deal of elbow grease to clean the bathroom after they were gone as well. They picked up, but everything was left with a coating of dust and grime. The shower is beautiful, and it works very well. The non-skid base really isn't non-skid if there is any water or soap on it. The drain hole cover in the base was not properly put in, and it comes up very easily if the corner is stepped on. There is a fairly good size gap in the corner where two pieces of the wet board meet. The hole in our foundation was filled in with MORTAR. It cracked very soon after it dried. My husband has called a great many times to get this taken care of. He has had to take off work for two days to get the repair of at least the foundation taken care of, and they never showed up either of those two days. I am currently waiting for them to show up on their 4th or 5th attempt (I've lost count), and they are an hour and a half late with no call for an explanation as to why they're late. The company's customer service after installation is abysmal. I'm highly disappointed that something which cost about $20,000 doesn't have better representation for customer satisfaction after installation. Located in Marysville, WA read more

Pacific Bath was a joy to work with. The discussion of options when putting in a new LuxStone Shower would have easily overwhelmed us without the direction of our sales rep. He was courteous and took our needs and wants and put together a wonderful package. The installers showed up on time and ready to work. Pacific Bath is awful. Here's why: Poor Workmanship: They did sloppy drywall work and incorrectly wrapped a shower window that now doesn't close properly. I had to be the construction superintendent: Pacific Bath wanted to install over dry rot we discovered in the demo. I overruled them and re-did the sub-floor. You can't leave dry rot in a bathroom or you'll have mold, structural integrity issues with the floor, etc. High-Pressure Tactics: They tried to get me to sign a release despite uncorrected defects like poor drywall and debris on my property. Toxic Culture: They wasted time and operated in bad faith when I sought a reasonable project exit. It's unfortunate that Kohler is associated with such an organization. I recently had a shower installed in my master bathroom. Levi and Jerry were the workmen who did the job. I could not have been happier with the work they did. They worked hard for two solid days to install the shower, and when the job was finished, they spent a tremendous amount of time cleaning everything up, even the areas outside, where they kept their tools and other equipment. They were careful to cover any exposed areas with plastic sheeting to protect it from the dust created by the job. They also covered the cars on either side of the area where they worked with the table saw to keep them from getting dirty. They were friendly, competent, and I had no negative issues with them at all. I should also mention the sales representative who met with me a couple of times while I was deciding exactly what I wanted done. Ethan was prompt, very knowledgeable about the process, and very personable. He put me at ease immediately as did the two workmen. We signed a pricey contract with Pacific Bath to install a Luxe Stone shower and after completing the 2+ hr sales pitch, product selection and finance contract we excitedly waited for an install date. And waited and waited.... After 1.5 months I followed up with the sales person who escalated. After another week of silence I followed up again and was told I would hear back immediately. We didn't. I came to learn that the sales contact was no longer at PacIfic Bath but she still provided a contact so that we could reach them directly. Enter Carl, who after many calls and messages, finally let us know that they will cancel the order after they receive a statement in writing. No info on who to send it to or where to send it. Lori was organized, well prepared, and had thoughtful answers for all our questions. She helped us with suggestions that made sense for our needs. I would highly recommend Lori Afallouss if you are considering a walk in shower or any addition from Pacific Bath. Lori is polite, positive, and will help guide you through this process. The 3 young men, Kolten and his team, did the install. They were also, polite, fast workers and cleaned up everything. The entire process took 2 days from tear out to finished product. The total experience was outstanding. And now we have a beautiful walk in shower. Kohler products are all top quality and look lovely. We had Pacific Bath put in a new shower for us. First, their salesperson was outstanding. He took exact measurements, worked up a quote, and we found it a great value, so we signed up. He told us they could probably schedule us in about a month. A week later, we got a call from their scheduling telling us they could do it in the next week. Underpromised and over-delivered--that's smart. The install team showed up on time on the day they said they would and did excellent work. Very neat, very polite and respectful of our time, our quiet and our schedule. They were completely done late the next afternoon, and we are thrilled with the final product. See the pics. One other thing I wanted to mention. About three weeks later, we noticed a couple of air bubbles in the caulk on the bottom of the shower enclosure. Since we had a lifetime guarantee, we called, and they sent out someone the following work day. We expected them to patch the caulk, but instead, they spent an hour removing all the old caulk and completely redoing it. After they left, we got a call from their supervisor asking if their work looked good. It looks great, and they, too were on time and very polite and respectful. At our previous house, we had put in a new shower enclosure with another company, and we had nothing but trouble with their installation of both the shower and the plumbing. Chipped and damaged product installed, terrible quality, they substituted the shower door and fixtures without my knowledge and told me not to touch for 48 hours thus I didn't catch all the damage and crap they pulled till after the 48 hours. Worst shower ever. The shower they ripped out was in better shape! The vice president came out and argued that "this was all within tolerance". maybe her tolerance because she doesn't have to live with it. This shower is coming out because I am not living with it! PBC installed a Kohler shower in our master bathroom. The entire process from talking to the salesman to the two-day installation were excellent. Our salesman patiently went through all the options until we found exactly what we wanted for a price we could afford (the 18-month zero-interest payment plan really helped in the latter regard). Not sure if anyone in this company understands customer service or how to perform a top quality installation job. I wonder if any of the managers actually inspect the work they charge a bundle for.
