It started with working with Steven - he helped us tremendously through the process of selecting the cabinets, countertop and sink for our kitchen remodel. We ended up picking cabinets that were custom made and Evergreen handled all the work on submitting he order to the factory. Most important was the installation week. The cabinets showed up on a Monday morning, demo of old cabinets started the same day, followed by cabinets, countertop and sink installation and then getting the plumbing hooked up. All arranged by Evergreen and done as promised by end of day on Friday. this was critical since we had 30 family members to our house for Easter dinner on the following Sunday. Great work Evergreen!

We went the other night, stopped at the restaurant first so my husband could eat some meatballs and I just ordered a side of mash and gravy. The meatballs were gross, the mash was bland but also had a funky taste. They do still have some good things like kitchenwares, those little heart cookies with the chocolate in the middle, frames, and some of their furniture that happens to be made of wood is still decent but even that it's become so flimsy. I went up to a curio cabinet I've seen before and just opening the doors and drawers you could tell the wood was thinner, flimsy and of course $100 more than last time I saw it. Everything is overpriced, cheaply made, and it kind of broke my heart because I loved that store. I collected their catalogues and still have them from 1999 until they stopped printing them.

We decided to visit the Tacoma store and were greeted by Dyson and Doris and the difference in service was remarkable. They spent about an hour with us, offering helpful suggestions and answering all our questions. Dyson also updated our 3-D rendering for our layout. We left that place after wasting an hour going around in circles with the staff and had only 15 minutes before we had to head back home for an appointment. Since we HAD to have things picked out on that day, we yelped nearby places and found BK C&G. We walked in, found the exact same materials we had wanted at the previous place, asked for a quote, which they provided to us in less than 1 minute, and it was less than 1/3 what the other place had quoted us. Also, they could have everything ready within a week (the other place told us it would take several weeks to ship from China...and that shipping would cost several hundred $$$ in addition). Best Kitchen Cabinet and Granite was straightforward about pricing and easy to work with (we ordered over email/phone). We had our contractor install so I can't speak to that service, but everything fits perfectly.
