Really terrible experience. They refused to accept a return after they made a mistake because my contractor did not open every box immediately upon receipt, which we know is not how construction works. They would rather run you out of arbitrary dates than honor their commitment to their customers. read more

Huge, beautiful showroom and warehouse accessible to the public (including Saturday hours). Ample parking. Staff is helpful. Company provides coffee and candy to enjoy while you wander about, a nice touch. They provides quartz and tile samples at no cost, awesome. Natural stone slabs (granite and quartzite) are available to see and touch. They carry LVT also. Pricing is somewhat mysterious. For the quartz products, they have groups varying by comparative cost but you have to get prices from a fabricator. It would help to have "retail" prices so that you could get an idea if a product is possibly within your budget. read more

I have waited a really long time to write this review, but after 15 months of trying to contact someone at MSI, it's time to let others know about the poor customer service and warranty on MSI Quartz that I have received. I purchased the quartz at Tile for Less and it was fabricated and installed by Atlantic Tile & Granite (AT&G). Within several months, my Vena Carbona countertop had halo/rings from a fruit bowl and other halos from various items on my counter. The MSI warranty page on their website hasn't worked in the 18 months I have tried to upload my information for the warranty. I have been in communication with Tile for Less who pointed the finger to AT&G, who was responsive for the first couple months, then passed the torch to Ian at MSI. He called me once in December 2020, I returned his call same day and he never bothered to get back in contact with me. Then COVID hit in early 2021. I cut some slack since I didn't know who was still working, etc. I picked my emails back up in the summer of 2021. I was given several names and I contacted them both (Kramer & Al), they were both kind enough to respond, but once again I was told they weren't the right person to handle my warranty concerns. When you buy something new that claims "Not only does Q stand-up against scratches, chips, and stains--it also never needs sealing, polishing, or reconditioning." (per the MSISurfaces.com website) you expect it to last a long time. Every day I walk into my kitchen, I hate my countertop due to all the markings, etc. Such a disappointment! I have since learned that MSI Quartz is on the lower end of quality according to local industry professionals. It wasn't cheap when I purchased it, so it's shocking that within 6 months the quartz looked bad. Do your homework so you don't end up with a faulty quartz like I did. read more

MSI hands down. They have a huge warehouse and the samples are plentiful and they are real samples of the stone and big - maybe 8x4 inches which no one has. You get them yourself and they are well organized and labeled. Also customer service is excellent and responsive. I love my quartz. read more

Huge facility. Top notch equipment and lots of employees walking around. As a customer don't get in a hurry to be loaded because the employees are not. It seems they can only use one crane at a time. When asked about load time the employee was kind of rude in his reply. This is not an efficient business. read more

We choose our granite at MSI. They have an extensive selection of granite as well as many other materials for home projects. Reece Heald was the associate who helped us. He was great, had a good understanding of the different materials and helped with coordinating our materials. We have had ordered 2 countertops already and both were discontinued without giving us any notice. We had to start the hunt for countertops all over again. We visited the showroom today and was super impressed. Noah was knowledge, super helpful and made the entire process very stress free. My wife and I are remodeling our home in Washington and when it came time to do the counters, we looked at many options and settled on granite. We went to another, large granite yard in Washington and looked at every slab in the place and found only one that we liked, and we liked it a lot. But they said it was on hold and they couldn't sell it to us. So we asked if we could order it and they said it would take three to four months to get. We really liked the granite, so we decided to wait. But then several weeks later they told us that they do not special order this granite and maybe they would have it in six months and maybe not. So, we had to start over. Since we live in California most of the time we looked at a number of granite yards here (some really good ones) and still found nothing we really loved. We were getting defeated. Then someone recommended MSI to us and we made a special trip up to Seattle and met with Kate. And that was when our life changed. She was so helpful and wonderful. We looked at many slabs with her. The bad news was, we did not find one that we liked. We found TWO!! Oh, no, how to choose?! So we decided to get both and use one for our kitchen and the other for our bathroom. The whole experience was great, and I can't recommend this place highly enough. read more

MSI is like going to a hotel with a beautiful new lobby and then you get to your room and its crappy. Meaning, nice showroom: average to terrible product when it arrives. And, all sales final. What a wonderful showroom! The full size displays of Quartz is breathtaking and the wall of tile and backsplash is inspiring. Oh, and don't miss the terrific coffee machine! The staff is helpful and friendly. Yes, they sometimes have a suggestion, but no pushy at all. The granite selection in the warehouse is not very large and certainly not as extensive as Pental, but we found a beautiful White Ravine that will go on our kitchen countertop. Best of all, our contractor says MCI has better pricing. The space for viewing in the warehouse is pretty tight and you can easily trip over the racks. Overall, I recommend MCI due to their personal attention and wonderful showroom. read more

I had ordered tiles and was told that they will load the tiles but then when I arrived they refused to do so. The person inside said we can load 3 out of the 10 boxes (each box is about 60 lbs)...and then said they can't load any. They just say there and watched me load and finally the guy from inside on my multiple requests came out and just loaded 3 boxes and that too so badly I had to reload them. NEVER do business with them. Horrible customer experience. read more
