Full slabs to view and touch
    Kevin E.

Huge, beautiful showroom and warehouse accessible to the public (including Saturday hours). Ample parking. Staff is helpful. Company provides coffee and candy to enjoy while you wander about, a nice touch. They provides quartz and tile samples at no cost, awesome. Natural stone slabs (granite and quartzite) are available to see and touch. They carry LVT also. Pricing is somewhat mysterious. For the quartz products, they have groups varying by comparative cost but you have to get prices from a fabricator. It would help to have "retail" prices so that you could get an idea if a product is possibly within your budget.

I have waited a really long time to write this review, but after 15 months of trying to contact someone at MSI, it's time to let others know about the poor customer service and warranty on MSI Quartz that I have received. I purchased the quartz at Tile for Less and it was fabricated and installed by Atlantic Tile & Granite (AT&G). Within several months, my Vena Carbona countertop had halo/rings from a fruit bowl and other halos from various items on my counter. The MSI warranty page on their website hasn't worked in the 18 months I have tried to upload my information for the warranty. I have been in communication with Tile for Less who pointed the finger to AT&G, who was responsive for the first couple months, then passed the torch to Ian at MSI. He called me once in December 2020, I returned his call same day and he never bothered to get back in contact with me. Then COVID hit in early 2021. I cut some slack since I didn't know who was still working, etc. I picked my emails back up in the summer of 2021. I was given several names and I contacted them both (Kramer & Al), they were both kind enough to respond, but once again I was told they weren't the right person to handle my warranty concerns. When you buy something new that claims "Not only does Q stand-up against scratches, chips, and stains--it also never needs sealing, polishing, or reconditioning." (per the MSISurfaces.com website) you expect it to last a long time. Every day I walk into my kitchen, I hate my countertop due to all the markings, etc. Such a disappointment! I have since learned that MSI Quartz is on the lower end of quality according to local industry professionals. It wasn't cheap when I purchased it, so it's shocking that within 6 months the quartz looked bad. Do your homework so you don't end up with a faulty quartz like I did.

MSI hands down. They have a huge warehouse and the samples are plentiful and they are real samples of the stone and big - maybe 8x4 inches which no one has. You get them yourself and they are well organized and labeled. Also customer service is excellent and responsive. I love my quartz.

This company has a lot of selections and the service was excellent. We were looking for a granite slab and was referred to this company and glad we were able to fine what we were looking for.

As a homeowner, I couldn't be happier with the experience and highly recommend them. Vitaliy was excellent to work with throughout the process. He communicated openly about costs, risks, and timelines. His initial quote was the most thorough and detailed among all the bids we received (e.g. including a potential subfloor leveling cost range upfront to avoid surprises later on). He was also open to incorporating a written addendum I provided alongside the standard contract so that all project expectations were clearly documented from the start. When a supplier mistake from Shaw Floors delayed materials and forced my family into a longer Airbnb stay, Vitaliy stepped up and helped cover the ~$1,500 extra cost. That meant a lot to us. The crew treated our home with respect, the floors look beautiful, and throughout the project I felt I could truly trust Vitaliy and David's Flooring. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to other homeowners for flooring work.

They gave me a ball park price, and directed me to the showroom. I wanted flooring that matched the other room of the house. I was provided with samples (kind of large slabs), and was free to bring back the samples whenever it was convenient to me. Overall, they were relaxing to work with and not pushy at all. I made the date for them to come to rip the carpet out, and install the flooring. They were able to complete one room in one day. My request was finished within 3 weeks of contacting David's flooring. The additional great thing is that since my floor was already pretty level, the need to level out my flooring was cleared out of my invoice. So, they gave really great estimates. There were no hidden fees or surprises when I worked with them. Overall, that room was about 2k. The convenience and quickness was really worth it to me. Additionally, they removed and reinstall the baseboards which makes the finish much more professional look.

At that time, the wonderful sales person I worked with on my first order was no longer employed and they have this guy Marlon running the show now. I was candid with Marlon about why I had to redo my floors and needed a new estimate. Marlon was initially very pushy about getting directly involved with my claim even tho I told him I already had a contractor to do the work and I simply just needed the materials. After 20 minutes of saying no to his suggestion he finally gave me the estimate. He quoted me $4.19 claiming inflation impacting the price. Okay fine -- I go get the amount approved through insurance. Insurance approvals take a while so I didn't end up going back to actually purchase the floor until today, July 2025. NOW he's trying to tell me the price for the floor is $5.39. As if the cost of flooring skyrocketed up $2.39 per sqft in a matter of 8 months?! He told me to go back to my insurance adjuster and ask for more money and then it was clear to me this man was trying to take advantage of my claim by gouging the price of the floor. He knew my insurance was a grade for grade replacement and tried to leverage that to inflate what he wanted to charge me. Pure greed. Because how else does a floor go from $3 to $5.39 in 8 months?? Especially when I checked nearby competitors and no one else had raised their prices recently. I did love that floor but the pushy & predatory business practices were simply unacceptable (especially as a return customer) and I ended up taking my business elsewhere -- as should you.

We have a baby, and wanted to change the floors of a house we bought for durability and aesthetics before moving in. There were also a number of creaks in our floors, and we wanted to get them fixed. Erik's team was able to take off the carpet and existing pine hardwood, level the floor, and install the laminate we picked out. His team came at 8am every morning and they finished by evening when we came back. We did this before we moved into our new house, and we love the way our house looks and feels now. Erik (the owner) was the first to come do the consultation, he was quick, and to me he felt very trustworthy from the beginning. He was also communicative throughout the whole process - often on the over-detailed side. And among the other offers, his was reasonable in price (compared to others) and according to our quick timeline. That said, when you get work done you may come across hurdles and it's important you get alternate opinions. As first time homeowners, we assumed that getting flooring done is straightforward. Apparently it's not. We were warned that the initial quote may be affected by the state of our subfloors once they take out the existing flooring. We got an urgent call saying that there was a lot more unevenness in our floors than expected, and that they would have to pour self leveling throughout the entire house, which was a quote of 90 bags, at $150 each. We were told that was the only option, and were strongly encouraged to go this route to make our timeline. After getting evaluations from multiple other flooring experts, we got alternate advice for up to 12 bags of self leveling, max. Our home is only 10yrs old. 90 bags of self leveling is enough for an entire apartment building, and weighs over 2 tons. Apparently the only way to guarantee absolute evenness is if you just pour self leveling on the entire floor, and also easier for the workers. But we opted for the labor-intensive (but more cost effective) way of going through the whole house measuring each high point & low point, sanding down the high points, and only pouring in the patches at the low points. Needless to say, we rejected the proposed approach and Erik's team was able to handle the uneven subfloors with only 3 bags. Three. Unfortunately, this issue resulted in several days delay in the completion of our project, not to mention a lot of additional stress. We wish this hurdle had not happened. That said, we are proud to have not caved under urgency and stress - it would have cost us 13.5K! That said, after consulting quite a few flooring companies - I noticed that each will use different numbers for labor, materials, demo, etc. They also suggest different approaches like keeping quarter rounds on baseboards or ripping them off and attaching new ones. Adding transitions as an additional cost or not, etc etc. Get as many quotes as you can so you understand what is the average price you should expect to pay - they may charge differently, but at the end of the day they have to meet their numbers to pay their guys and still make a profit. Flooring costs more than I expected, and most of the quotes I got were 14-20K for 2 story house around 2000sq ft. (Bathrooms excluded). At the end of the day, we love our new floors. Erik was extremely communicative through the whole process. His team was hardworking, and finished the work before we had to leave on a trip. They were detailed for the part of the floor which met the fireplace, making sure it was flush against the uneven hearth tile. There are barely any squeaks left in the house. They came and resolved any concerns we had. They were flexible with movers coming as they were finishing the last day. All in all, although there was a hiccup in the process, we did have a very good experience with Erik and his team. And, I'm confident he will recommend the spot patching method for leveling the floor for future clients. Thank you for making our floors one of my favorite parts of the house now, Hardwood Plus!

He was easy to reach and very direct, which gave me confidence to move forward. Overall, the work was good. The flooring price was fair, but the painting cost felt high. The biggest issue was communication once the project started. I made the prepayment, met to sign the contract, and did my part. But after that, getting a response became extremely difficult. Communication with the point of contact (I won't name) was almost non-existent, which was unacceptable. The workers did their job, but since they do not speak English, any questions or clarifications had to go through the point of contact. This made resolving even small issues frustrating. On top of that, I asked for a little leftover baseboard paint for touch ups. I was told I would get it after the project was done, but it has now been four months and I still have not received anything. Cleanup was also lacking. Like other contractors I have used in the past, they left dust and debris behind, and I had to do a lot of follow up cleaning after they left each day. Prestige Flooring will get the job done, and Vlad himself was responsive at the beginning, which stood out compared to other contractors. But be prepared for poor communication during the project and less than ideal cleanup afterward. Professional service includes timely communication, not making the customer feel like they need to nag or beg for a response. That was the most disappointing part of the experience.
