After an uncomfortable few minutes, he agreed to do it. The compressor requires 1-3psi of freon. The technicians initial measurement was at 0psi. When he said it was done it was at 0.2psi. Barely adding any freon to the system. As a result the fridge is still not as cold as it needs to be. The next morning after the service, I informed Mark of the situation and he would look into it and get back to me. Mark ended up refunding the service call, which was appreciated.

I need a washer because I have an inconontinent family member, so I went to Lowe's and bought a brand new one. It was just a couple hundred more than the used one from easy buy which I'm sure this brand new one will last longer. Not only that Lowe's won't ghost a customer and they are here on time installing the new washer right now. My point is if you need reliability not only with the appliance but with the business you're dealing with, I do not recommend Easy Buy Appliance. Very unfortunate.

The tech, Noah, came out a few days later and found that the defrost control wasn't working and the evaporator had completely iced up. He steam cleaned the ice out to get the fridge working for a few days until the new controller was available. Once installed, it took a few days for the fridge to stabilize but it's been a couple of weeks now and it works fine. Noah did a fine job, all business, no nonsense. She's super honest as well and doesn't try to upsell. She also has great suggestions and has made our lives dramatically easier. Ferguson has so much to choose from, including hundreds, maybe thousands of items not on the floor, but in different colors, sizes and formats. Even their signature line is amazing - and so well priced. Plus most everything is under warranty and if an item gets damaged upon receipt or in transit, they'll stand behind it. I love that. He told me that none of the items are refurbished or used. They are all brand new with a cosmetic defect here or there. That's it. In fact, some were so small that I couldn't find any issues with them. I saw some really good deals and some "OK" deals. When I spoke to the store manager, she said they were negotiable despite the price tag, which I thought was great. Ultimately we got a great deal at Costco, so we didnt end up purchasing anything from here, but I recommend it if youre trying to save hundreds and ok with small, sometimes barely noticeable cosmetic damage. Just make sure you look up the model number online to compare what it's being sold new. Some of the items weren't competitively priced.
