This necessitated unconventional and time-consuming modifications, including anchoring the fixture directly into a ceiling joist and purchasing a separate ceiling medallion to conceal exposed gaps. The need for longer machine screws further highlighted design flaws to conceal the wiring and brackets. This installation process for the Oaks Aura ceiling fan light fixture was arduous, demanding a level of improvisation, technical skill, and specialized tools well beyond what an average consumer possesses. As a registered Civil Engineer, I view this design as a potential safety and liability risk for homeowners. My review has not reflection on the other ceiling fan light fixture products that I have purchased that are sold at Lowe's but consequently, I cannot recommend this Oaks Aura products for general consumer purchase due to its complex and non-standard installation requirements. Lowe's needs to consider removing Oaks Aura product from its shelves.

I had purchased 12 large bags of mulch from the Garden Center and asked if I could pull my car around to make loading everything a little easier. As I was walking out, Robert wished me a good day, and I explained that I was going to move my car over to the mulch and showed him my receipt so he knew I had already purchased the 12 bags. Without hesitation, Robert said, "Oh my gosh, not a problem. Let me help you. I'll meet you over there." He met me by the mulch and immediately started loading the bags into my car. Shortly after, Bobby came over and started helping too. Both of them told me they had it handled and that I didn't need to help. Those bags are big and heavy, and what could have been a very difficult task for me ended up being so much easier because of their kindness. Robert and Bobby were incredibly helpful, generous, and true gentlemen. Customer service like this deserves to be recognized. Thank you so much, Robert and Bobby, for going out of your way to help me. I truly appreciated it and hope Home Depot knows what wonderful employees they have!

The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Sometimes it takes a bit to track someone down. They have everything you want and more. If they don't have it in stock, it can be shipped to your house or the store for no fee within a reasonable amount of time. Usually, everything is in stock when I need it. I've also used to shop online and free curbside pickup. It's hit or miss; either they bring it out quickly or they don't, and you have to call the store. Being a HD cc holder has its perks too. I am always getting discount coupons mailed to me or 0% financing offers. They come in handy when it's a large project.

Zero stars if I could. Kids Workshop is a scam…read more Registered for the Home Depot Kids Workshop over a month in advance. Showed up on Saturday with my 4-year-old, and they were out of build kits. Just... gone. Handed out first-come-first-served to whoever walked in, registration be damned. So what exactly was the registration for? If a time slot doesn't guarantee a kit, stop pretending it does. Either commit to the number of kids you registered, or scrap the sign-up and admit it's a free-for-all. Right now it's neither, it's just false advertising dressed up as "planning." My daughter stood there watching other kids build while she had nothing. That's not a minor inconvenience, that's a store failing to do the one thing it told a 4-year-old it would do. If Home Depot can't be bothered to stock enough kits for the people who actually registered, don't run the program. Don't get families' hopes up and then shrug when it falls apart. When it comes to doing the right thing, for the people who shop at your stores, you failed miserably.
