I went in looking for info and insight for a proper set up and to see if I was doing everything correctly. The employee showed me everything I needed and then gave me crap for not buying it because I live out of town. His rationailty was that I should give him the business over a pet store in my local area because he gave me info. Furthermore when he realized I wasn't buying he was rather rude saying my business practices were unfair. I went in to have a simple question answered and that was it. The store or the information I was provided was quite great and no complaints there. My issue was th way I was treated by the employee, I was made out to feel like I wa robbing the store or doing something wrong when all that I was looking for as the customer was some knowledgeable advice, which I did recieve in a rude non-business like manner.

I've also boarded him with EW&PT twice while away on holidays and he has always been well taken care of. The staff is always helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable. We showed them the email and asked them to honour their original quote. They said they can change prices whenever they want and they would not honour it. We were shocked as that is the golden rule of business to honour a quote. Their attitude was very unprofessional. There are so many other places to buy birds in Ontario. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this store.

In Toronto, he would go to Ramsden Park and LOVED it, as did I. This leash free park is abysmal!!! Firstly, it was basically the size of a yard. That wouldn't have bothered me so much if there hadn't been 10 dogs and 5 people already there. It was minuscule. If your dog or another person's dog weren't getting along, you had no choice but to leave rather than walk away to another part of the park. The people there were smoking! What kind of dog owner smokes around their dog, they have lungs too you know. Also DONT THROW YOUR BUTTS ON THE GROUND. FRIG. Suffice it to say, I left within 5 minutes.

My youngest son is severely allergic to cats, however, he still loves them to pieces. We have an 11 year old chocolate lab at home who was adopted from a shelter in Alberta. So while we were here we asked the front desk if we could see some cats for the kids. After seeing a kitten we headed out. As we were walking out the lady who showed us the kitten stopped us and told us how lucky we were that she allowed us to see the kitten because usually it's not allowed and we should consider how fortunate we are that she did that, but not to expect it next time (all with attitude) excuse me?! You run off of donations! God forbid you had to take 5 mins out of your time to "allow" 2 young impressionable boys the chance to see an animal they might otherwise not be able to. I'm sorry we drove half way across town to donate money and necessities to your astablishment only to inconvenience you to open a cage. God forbid!!!

PetPlanet is a pet store I stumbled upon with my dog named Dude and have been a regular of for the…read morelast year, the staff in PetPlanet are extremely friendly, love animals and are very knowledgeable about various pet products. There are 3 staff that work at the Brant Street location and all of them are terrific, if you haven't experienced this store before check it out on a Friday which is the day when you get free dog treats if you bring your dog into the location with NO PURCHASE necessary. Be warned the prices on much of the products in the store are rather expensive but that is because the quality of the product is above what you will find at most locations however there are several decent products to buy which are rather cheap such as their individual cookies, pig ears and raw or baked marrow bones which are three of my dogs favorite treats. They also price match, once confirmed they will match the price of a competitor for identical items. This location also offers a full self-washing facility complete with a locking door and locking gate for their tub which is large enough to accommodate several hundred pounds of dog (it makes me 102 pound lab look small). Do yourself a favor and experience what Mike and others have to offer at this location and I'm sure you'll keep coming back specifically to say hello to them and just be in a friendly environment.
