The nice young man at the door said the owner isn't ready to have kids in his store. Really? We've been everywhere. Our kids are well behaved and masked. if the owner doesn't have a defensible reason to restrict children from him store, he's violating our Ontario Human Rights. This is discrimination against our family status and shouldn't be tolerated. Nonetheless, we will NEVER return to Grobes.

First off, let me state that generally speaking the products sold at Grobe's are top-notch. We…read morehave purchased a lot of green matter from them over the years. But no more. After two run-ins with Perry Grobe I won't be back. Today I was there to buy some Forsythia. There was a price discrepancy of $4.00 between the description card and the plant tag. When Perry got involved things amplified...the price on the plant tag was the price and that was that. I am not hard to get along with and I appreciate that Grobe's is a big business and sometimes things can get mixed up. If Perry had taken that approach I wouldn't be writing this review but his attitude reminds me of the business owner who thinks everyone is trying to screw him over. Too bad. My advice, by all means, buy what Grobe has to offer just hope like hell that you don't have to deal with the owner.

Grishma is very knowledgable in all the appliance's features, warranty, delivery factors and any other queries we had. An excellent Home Depot employee and an awesome experience. She said, no that's a desperate store- I see. So I asked her for a similar product she suggest WD 40, I took that because I didn't believe her really, maybe it would get me close to what I'm looking for. She directed me to Aisle 15- which was not it,. I looked further aisle 14 and saw the WD 40 at the end- great no dice. So I asked someone near the commercial check out where I might find, he said aisle 16 and right next to it the product I was looking for the 3 in 1. What I like about HomeDepot throughout the pandemic was their persistent way to price match and 10% the difference, so I price matched with princess auto. Just a tip because of online merchants and in store merchants some locations are picky to match in the condition the merchant is a store and if it's online they will analyze the ship option. So when I gave princess auto they asked me where- I said just near Conestoga College and done, price match done without any manager approval. Since I got a Lowes VIP for corporate accounts- I've been more motivated to shop at Lowes for 5% off but I forgot how nice it is to shop at Home Depot, it's so chillaxed and easy I forgot how easy it is to price match. Might have to rethink my VIP 5% discount at Lowes because convenience has merit.

We found Davis farm could have the wagon ride and also have the farmer market. So we drove an hour to the farm. The pumpkin patch was just a small place that gathered selling pumpkins. The pumpkin field was not open to public. The market was selling local bakery and stuff. The wagon ride was about 15 mins long, and it was all the way to the sunflower field. We thought the sunflower was all dead and spooky, but actually they were dried naturally and after that the farm will collect the sunflower seeds and the flower head could be used for the sunflower oil. That's so informative. The farm was big but only open to the public a little spots. But they did decorate some good spots for people to take pictures. It's nice to visit a farm in Fall season.

There is a market that happens every weekend along with some evenings that offer activities like yoga. The weekend I went didn't have the market and it would be great to have more food vendors as you would have to drive out for more options. It's a great experience in the peak period of Sunflowers and perfect for families, groups and anyone trying it out for the first time. The admission price is affordable and perfect if you are nearby. It takes about an hour to an hour and a half to visit from downtown Toronto. A beautiful experience that was added to summer 2023.
