Hands down best shrimp and grits I've ever had. The addition of southern chow chow and a drizzle of basil oil made it perfect. Great place. Glad we stopped and we'll be back!

We visited with a group of four, which was perfect because we had the chance to try several dishes. On weekends, they offer brunch with both buffet-style and à la carte options. We started with the Short Rib Grilled Cheese seasoned perfectly, cheesy, and served on bread that was wonderfully toasted and crunchy. The BLT had that same satisfying crispy, toasted bread and was fresh and flavorful. We also tried the Caesar Salad with blackened shrimp, which was a nice lighter option, along with a side of their fries. The fries were delicious thin, crispy, fresh, and nicely salty. Definitely the kind of fries you keep reaching for even when you're already full! The Breakfast Burrito was another favorite, packed with egg, chorizo, and cheese. It was flavorful and came with tortillas and salsa on the side, which added a nice touch. The service was friendly and informative, and everything came out fresh. I also really enjoyed the cute decorations and overall ambiance of the space.

These are a must try if you like wings. Chicken and pancake tacos were delicious. Pancakes had a touch of sweetness. Fried chicken inside with a spicy mayo. Topped with a strawberry salsa that worked well. 3 of these were very filling. Fun and very good. Son had the double wide footlong. Topped with sloppy Joe. After that the 2 sides were different. One had fried banana peppers. The other side more classic with toppings. Son said it was really good. Others had the ahi tuna salad. Tuna was perfectly rare. Salad was good and the wasabi dressing had great flavor without being too spicy. Service was quick even though jam packed. Also very friendly.

The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.

You can't visit without trying their Crab Chowder - it has a little bite to it too which made it unique and terrific. We also had some really good calamari, a kids grilled, a burger (with a really good bun and produce) and a buffalo chicken wrap. Every bit of the food was good but the ambiance of this place steals the show. It's located along River St and has tons of character, charm and history.

Had the texture of very fresh shrimp and was actually large shrimp....like 16 to 20 count. My one complaint was the cup of "butter". When I dipped my first shrimp, the taste wasn't what my brain expected. So I had another...same thing. It had a buttery flavor but it just didnt taste like butter. I used a spoon to dribble some on my plate. I think it was butter flavored cooking oil like you would use to make popcorn. The color was just like butter flavored popcorn oil. Next time I would specifically request butter.....I'm sure they have some in the kitchen. Waitress: awesome. Good service, checked on us regularly...very nice.
