Let's start with the obvious: this is supposedly a chop house. So how do you mess up the steak? I ordered medium and it came out rare, poorly cut, and completely flavorless. The veal pasta was so aggressively lemony it tasted like someone dropped a bottle of Pledge into the pan. Then there was the whitefish special with chips that felt like a bizarre, half-hearted attempt to acknowledge the Jewish holiday. As a Jew, if that was the intention, it came across more like a punchline than a tribute. Presentation across the board looked rushed and sloppy. The real question is: who is the chef and what exactly are they doing back there? Because if your entire concept is a chop house and the steak is the worst part of the meal, something has gone very wrong.
