I rotate throughout the same items and they are always delicious. The list of foods/drinks I'll order: -Pad thai -Thai fried rice -Thai tea -Coconut pineapple drink (never had anything like it before!) -I have also had the wonton soup before and loved everything about it. The broth is unique and tasty. The service is consistently amazing as well. The staff are such hard workers and I am always pleased. The ambiance was surprising the first time I went because the outside was not as well decorated. You forget all about it once you're inside and eating though. read more

First time trying Renoo's Thai Time. We saw mostly positive reviews online and wanted to try it for a birthday celebration. What was good: the Panang Curry was very flavorful with complex curry paste and peanut flavor that was palate enriching and satisfying. It was a little more spicy than what I would typically expect for a mild curry but very good. The interior of the restaurant was also very nice and surprising considering the restaurant is about 20 minutes from Las Cruces in an underdeveloped area near the mountains. What was disappointing: My Pad Thai was rather bland with only one real flavor note. I typically expect more tamarind flavor which usually gives that sweet, sour, and salty flavor that just wasn't present in the dish. If anything, it almost tasted like tomatoes were part of the sauce. I asked for some lime which made it better but this dish was a big no for me. Also, the mango sticky rice was kind of bland unlike the thicker, tongue velveting texture you expect. The server actually said that the person who typically makes the mango sticky rice was not working when we were there. Service: This was also a bit frustrating. They seemed understaffed but the dining room wasn't that big. Maybe four or five tables being served. We waited about ten minutes for our drink order after getting the menu and then longer to take our order. The food came out about ten minutes later but our server didn't check on us for refills or to see if we needed anything. We asked for the mango sticky rice to come out with our meal but it didn't arrive until almost 15 minutes after we finished our food. The server was kind enough to give a small discount on the sticky rice because it took so long (which we appreciated). In the end, I wanted to give this restaurant a three out of five but the quality of the food and delays in service were just too much in the end. I'll try some of the other Thai restaurants around town next time. read more

Oh man. Sad to say this was just ok. Given we are from out of town and have access to great Thai food. My main criticism is that the drunken noodles are dried basil. I would avoid this. Green curry was watery for me, full of veggies though. I did not hardly get any rice with the order. Service tries hard, but the kitchen can hardly keep up with orders, hence you'll be waiting awhile for food Ambiance is very nice, though they can only keep 1/2 of the restaurant operating due to lack of personnel. Don't let this dissuade you if you're craving Thai food, just try not to set the bar too high. read more

Delicious. I was visiting the area and the food was so good we went back the next day. I will say, the portion of jasmine rice that was provided with my order of panang curry was not enough. Small container only half full of rice. read more

The place has an odd smell walking in... old & musty. The Pepsi was awful, only took a few sips. The chicken in my Pad Thai was kind of dry/tough. For that price, I expect better. Not a very good value (value=quality/price). Unfortunately, can't recommend at this time. read more

Our son used to live here in Las Cruces but now he lives up north in Rio Rancho. He is a foodie and often eats out in the Albuquerque area and in Santa Fe where they have an array of great restaurants. When he comes down to visit my wife and I, Renoo's is on his top choices. We like to go there, but due to health reasons, I couldn't go out so he ordered food from Renoo's and he went to pick it up. My wife ordered her favorite Tom Kha soup with chicken. I had the Pad Ke Mao (noodles) and my son Stir Fried Rice. It was the first time that we ordered a take out, but as always the food was outstanding! read more

I've been here many times. But twice, the food was not hot. I was there last Tuesday. The chicken was cold to the touch and the rest of the plate was spotty warm/cool but not hot. I spoke to my waitress about it and asked her what was going on in the kitchen. She said she had no idea what happens in the kitchen. She asked me if I wanted them to recook my food. I said yes. What I got was the same food with a new scoop of rice. It still wasn't warm throughout. I asked her again if they has just warmed it up or what and asked for the manager. Then she tells me she is the manager, but hasn't worked there long. She said that they just warmed it up in the wok again. Which is not the same as "do you want us to remake it?" It is my suspicion that this was reheated food from Saturday, since they are not open on Sunday or Monday. The ;chicken was literally cold to the touch (refrigerator cold). I have had good hot food there before. I will never be back. OH! Forgot to mention that I was not offered anything else after I cold food #2 again. Which I did mention to the "manager". They she did ask if I'd like anything else. I ordered the Shrimp Pangang curry. Sadly to say they brought it to go and I gave it to my son and he said the shrimp was old, overcooked and rubbery. The rice to put in it was literally undercooked and hard. So disappointing. If that wasn't enough, he said he had a bad upset stomach/ diarrhea after eating a small amount. WHEN I GO OUT TO EAT, I EXPECT FRESHLY COOKED AND HOT FOOD. IF I WANT LEFTOVER, THAT'S WHAT I WILL EAT AT HOME. read more

Food was good, service was good. Place was clean and well kept. Pretty far outside of Las Cruces, but we found it to be worth the drive.

Great food, but we always get it to go. They really should figure out what is wrong with their septic system, bc it so often stinks like sewage. But the food and service are great! read more

Nice atmosphere, decent service, "meh" food. Ive had their pad thai and green curry. Both times, its just been disappointingly basic. Thai food is supposed to be explosive and flavorful. This is not. I paid +$5 to add beef to my curry, which I swear was literally just curry paste, coconut milk, and bell peppers. Even the *rice* was sad. Trust me, you can do it better yourself. Instead of driving up into Organ, go to Taste of India indowntown las cruces for a better curry, or go south to El Paso and eat at The Grove for some great korean-fusion noodles. I haven't been to Thai Delight in mesilla, but they don't have a high bar to clear. read more

Stopped by for lunch and it was okay. Got the pad kee mao. Portion size was really large but it was a little lacking in flavor. But I'm pretty okay with lighter food. I think it's possible that it was because I ordered mild so I would recommended getting not mild for the pad kee mao. Lots of veggies along with meat though read more

Renoo's is a small hidden Jem in the outskirts of Las Cruces on the east end of town as your entering/exiting town on I-70. It's Thai food is 2nd to none and I'm certain is a MUST STOP for anyone traveling between Las Cruces and places East!!! Fantastic food, great prices!!! read more

I wanted pad Thai and also wanted to try the chicken teriyaki. I ordered for carryout and the food was coming out of the kitchen as I arrived. The pad Thai was very good. I got it with tofu and it was really good! I probably won't do the chicken teriyaki again, it wasn't what I was expecting. Not bad, just not a traditional teriyaki, and that's what I was expecting. read more

If you are stuck in the beautiful but oppressive campground in the nearby Organ Mountains National Monument...this might be your only reasonable place for dinner. Why? The campground locks up at 6pm. If you're not back in time, your tent is going to be sleeping with itself! It's probably not enough time for the 40 min R/T voyage to Las cruces, but you can probably make it to Renoo's! (it's about half that) Lucky for you, this place still serves up really fresh, really good Thai food! Ambiance is chill, and the staff are friendly. The only nits I have to pick are: 1) The food isn't very hot. I got "Thai hot" and and it was still pretty mild. 2) No beer on the menu. Bummer to not have a brew after a sweaty day of rock climbing! read more

Update: Apparently they use Square as their point of sale system because I received a receipt in my email. There was an FYI section that said the salmon curry no longer included any squid. I guess they don't offer squid in any of their dishes anymore. I've known about Renoo's for several years but this was my first visit. They're in this little nondescript building on the side of the highway and I actually passed it a few times trying to figure out where I needed to get off the highway. You need to get off the highway at First St and then turn right on Old Organ Main St. The food was ok but I was a little disappointed. The menu on their website is out of date - the prices have gone up and some items are no longer available like their fried squid from the "Hot Off The Grill" section. I was expecting the fried tofu and veggies appetizer to have a little variety with the veggies but it was only broccoli. The pieces were really small too. Not worth $10.75. I had the pad thai with eggplant and it was ok, but the eggplant pieces were very skinny. According to the website, the noodle dishes are supposed to come with the soup of the day "when available". I didn't get any soup so I guess it wasn't available. Or this was another part of the website that wasn't updated. The noodles weren't worth $15. The last item in my order was the salmon curry. It came with rice but only enough for one person but the dish itself could feed 2-3 people. The stock was flavorful and the salmon was diced in big chunks but the addition of pineapple was a bit unusual for my tastes. The only other ingredient was diced bell peppers. Overall it was ok but really expensive at $17.50. The bill was about $53 with a tip. I don't think I'll be coming back for another visit. The prices are very high for what you get and this place is out of my way so the drive out there and back home is a bit too far. read more

It was ok. Nothing to write home about. The vegetables in the stir fry were cooked enough, not over cooked, not really under cooked, though I would say the bell peppers could have been considered raw. But overall, I liked the color and freshness of the vegetables. Problem was that most of the veggies were bell peppers and onions. Would have liked to have had more zucchini and added mushrooms would not have been a bad idea. The dish itself was worth no more than half of what is charged. The chicken was boiled. Or at least seemed boiled. Would have added more flavor to be grilled. Not a fan of boiled chicken. Even if it is healthier. As for spice heat. We ordered medium heat. Overall, there was no heat at all. But... there was a pile of chile flakes/powder on top of our dishes. That chile was scorching! After mixing it up in the dish, the heat dispersed,... I would say that was medium heat. So, be sure to mix the chile that is on your food! The sodas are 3.50 for a tiny glass, about the size of a small drink at most other places. They were out of dumplings when we were there. A few points brought up by other (out of towners) reviewers. If you are camping at Aguirre Springs in the Organ Mountain Monument area, this restaurant is the closest you will find, and is about 15 mins from Aguirre Springs. Las Cruces is only 5 more minutes down the road, NOT 40 minutes as one person stated. Plenty of restuarants, fast food, etc., in the area. If you want to go clear to the center of downtown, THAT would take another 10-15 mins. But there are plenty of food choices 5 mins away, as I stated. I had no problem with the music, which sounded like it was a piped in commercial pay per play station, or a local station, really couldn't hear a whole lot, which was perfect. Music should be barely noticeable in the background, and it was. So, no prob there. The inside, well, I wouldn't call it "cute" (that's just weird), but it was nicely done on the inside. This used to be a bar some 27 ish years ago. It was pretty run down and kinda nasty at that time. Then it turned into a restaurant, that later moved elsewhere deeper into LC, and it has been Renoo's for some time. They've cleaned it up pretty well. It is much better on the inside than the outside. The service: The one girl that was waiting and clearing tables was rushing around trying to take care of everyone. They were a bit busy and she could have used help. Yes, we sat for a time waiting... probably 10-15 mins. Husband's food came out about 5-10 minutes before mine. And, being a gentleman, he wouldn't eat until my food came. So that was a bit of an "off" there. But other than that, the food came within a decent amount of time. We sat to be waited on longer than we waited for the food. Will we be back? Probably not. The food was good, not great. The prices were high. It's close by. But, overall, not worth it. But again, never say never... who knows..... read more

Renoo's Thai Time - To-go order Apologies for the weak image ... food was terrific - Thai Near Me - Las Cruces, New Mexico

Service was good but seemed a little understaffed, the restaurant is very cute and worth the drive. The ambiance is great, though the music was a little weird- like early 2000s pop. The food was excellent, good spice and flavor. The fried dumplings had a lot of oil on them and could have been allowed to drain for a little longer. But they still tasted good. read more

What a disappointment! Looked this restaurant up on Yelp and wanted to give it a try so we drove up from Las Cruces making an effort to try it out. Yelp says open til 2:00pm it was 12:30pm when we got there. Waited patiently for the only waitress on the floor to help us. We were told that they closed at 1:00pm. I told her about the time on Yelp but then pointed to a sign that said it closed at 1:00pm by then it was 12:45 pm. She said they stopped taking people at 12:45pm! They what kind of place does this I told her that nowhere does it say last customer at 12:45! She was rude and had an attitude because we were arguing with her that they should be talking there last morning customers at 1:00 if that's what the sign says! Only 2 other table had customers! No owner or manager there to talk to. Don't go unless you expect to have the times change according to what they feel like for the day! Won't make that effort again! read more

The Chicken Satay was a bit disappointing. Chicken was pretty tough and dipping sauce was very thick peanut butter. I know I'm prejudice as I've had Thai food in the Pacific Northwest. That said, it wasn't up to par. Also in the PNW they include a light cucumber salad with the Chicken Satay. They need a much better sauce with these. Some spice yet insufficient. I hope they improve as Thai is my favorite cuisine. Ambiance is pleasant. read more

Great service and delicious food. It will be even better when they get their liquor license.

Even if this place was awful, I would give at least 3 stars just because of its proximity to White Sands .. when you live in the middle of nowhere with Subway as your only dining out option, it's nice to throw a little variety in the mix that doesnt ta an hour to drive to! Luckily, it's not just convenient but also super tasty! I've tried the food twice now (pretty much the same order since it was so good the first time: pineapple red curry and pad thai) and haven't been disappointed. The pineapple red curry is my FAVE! I get it spicy with the chicken instead of sea food and it's the type of delicious that makes you kind of obsess over it! The spice with the coconut with the peppers and pineapple.. just YUM! Oh, and the portions are so big that I was able to eat it for 3 separate meals and be stuffed each time! My second favorite is the pad thai.. again I get it spicy with chicken and again it can last for 3 separate meals for me. I tried the crab wontons as an app the first time I stopped in, and they just didn't do it for me.. but the curry made up for it! I'd like to try the sticky rice dessert some time, but I cant seem to control how much I eat in the main meal to save enough room for it.. maybe next time! read more

There's definitely a lack of good thai food in El Paso, so when I heard about this place, I definitely had to try it. Ambiance - Called in and ordered to go. They were very efficient and quick at giving me my food. The place is self is a bit out there and looks run-down, but it's definitely worth a shot. Food - Ordered the pad thai, pad kee mao, and mango sticky rice. All were delicious, especially the pad thai. The mango sticky rice came deconstructed because it was a to-go order, but all the components maintained their integrity and were delicious together. Renoo's Thai Time - Chicken Pad Thai - Hot - Thai Near Me - Las Cruces, New Mexico

Sooooo good! Best Pad Thai I've had in 25 years. AND the first time I've found a restaurant in New Mexico where I can get Pad Thai that is not painfully spicy (granted, I'm a wimp with sad, bland Midwestern taste buds...) If you like it painfully hot, they'll still make you happy but I appreciate the option for the less spicy inclined. I've only done takeout orders, but my interactions with employees have always been friendly and professional. The orders are ready promptly and packaged carefully. The restaurant looks clean and beautiful. I hope to dine-in soon. Oh! The Crab Rangoon appetizers are amazing too. So far, they've never lasted the drive home! Love this restaurant. Definitely worth a little drive. Do yourself a favor and support this local restaurant! read more
