C&R gave me an estimate that was on the higher end, but Luis was able to work with me and walk me through the process of how he was going to go about this project. This included both labor and materials. The job took about a day longer than expected, because they had run into a problem that they were able to fix. Luis was professional and responded almost immediately whenever i contacted him about questions. After the job was completed, we walked through the space to make sure that there was nothing else that needed to be done. Smoothing out the ceilings is no easy task, it is tedious. They used a chemical to get the ceilings lose then scraped, sanded and painted. It has been a couple of weeks since the job was completed and they did an amazing job. There are spots in my ceiling that I notice here or there that are not completely smooth, but overall they did great. Each day they had about 3-4 people in the house and they worked until my house was done. I did not have to worry about them leaving the job for a couple days and taking even longer to complete it. The three rooms I had painted look good, in addition they're super nice and professional. But it was higher than the rest of the estimates than I had received. I felt like I could trust Luis and I did not need to worry about the job getting completed in a timely manner.

We found Nesbitt Brothers (Guy Nesbitt is the owner) through a referral through the landlord of the fiancé's company. They use Nesbitt Brothers for all their commercial work. So, when we moved into our new house, the fiance and I weren't happy with the options given to us by the builder. 6 paint colors for an obscene price. We were referred to Guy and couldn't have been happier. Don't let the address fool you...yes, they are right by the PA border, but the crew rents a hotel if they have a job on the NoVa area. Its great because they put in long hours once they start a job since they only have a hotel room waiting for them. None of this showing up at 10 am and leaving at 2 pm...yeah, sound familiar anyone who's hired a contractor?? He does the work himself with his sons. And they HAND ROLL the paint. No cheapo sprayers that leave a thin film of paint. They do it all by hand which gives a thick coat that looks amazing. Now, if you are looking for a dirt cheap painter, Guy isn't your "guy". He does quality work but for a decent price, its not going to be the cheapest price. But it won't be the most expensive either, he is very fair. We've used Nesbitt Bros to paint our new house, paint the fiance's company office, and the bachelor pad condo. The crew is honest, does good work and you NEVER have to worry that they won't show up. You'll get an estimated day he can start work and he'll stick to it. Great crew, and as the fiance says "Guy is the type of guy you can have over for Thanksgiving". Hamilton's Unlimited was here before the plumbers and had my house back to normal in less than four…read moredays - including new drywall and paint. On a Sunday evening, a huge clog backed up the drain for both of my 2nd Floor bathrooms and the water ran down into my 1st Floor ceiling. I got the water turned off and called the plumber and Kevin at Hamilton's Unlimited. Since I also have a Powder Room on the 1st Floor, I told them both it can wait until Monday morning. Early the next morning the plumber called to say they were running ahead of schedule and asked if they move me up. Of course, I told them yes. By the time the plumbers got here (early), Hamilton's Unlimited had already removed all of the wet ceiling, disinfected the framing, set up fans and a dehumidifier, and hauled away the debris. As a bonus, having the ceiling open like that helped the plumbers determine where the clog was which saved me even more time and money. That afternoon, after everyone had left, I was sure I'd be dealing with this for a week or more. However, over the next 48-hours, Hamilton's Unlimited kept in contact with me, even stopping by, to ensure that the drying process was progressing to their liking. By Thursday afternoon - less than four days after the leak - they had installed all new drywall, sanded, and fresh paint on the entire ceiling and one wall. Done.
