Of the four contractors contacted, Wesly responded quickly and was at our house the next day asking all the right questions. we also discussed two other projects, more in just passing, but interested in what she would come back with. Within a day, she came back with a series of quotes, one for the stair job we needed, which was very reasonable and for a design that worked very well. Her team showed up the next day and were efficient and very detailed. Our three step project was done in a day and looked great! Although we told Wesly the price on the other patio resurface project was a bit more than we were ready to take on, didn't stop her from finding another option that cut the cost using a ceramic tile that offered better wear, more color options and a design that better matched our house. We could afford that! We were also able to redo a ghastly concrete step from our den that a prior owner bought at Home Depot and dumped in place. Wasn't to code either. The Team was back out and did a marvelous job! They were there three days, morning to late evening getting the job done. The result updated the back of our house, the slate and brick step off the den was to code and the patio was comfortable to walk on and made my wife's patio set look really good. Short story: J & J Quality was a real find and we are already talking about another project! if you need a job done right and for a good price, give Wesly and Team a call.

Mr. Rolando finished a room and full bathroom in my basement and their work is absolutely perfect. Not only did he quote me $4,000 less than someone else (and that included permits unlike the other company) but we knew after our consult that we wanted to hire him. Not only is his work amazing, but Mr. Rolando and Ronald are both very very nice people. My two little boys looked forward to seeing them every day and just loved to chat with them. I have referred many people to him, and will continue to do so every opportunity that I get, because Sterling General Contractors is very worthy of every referral. His attention to detail and commitment to ensuring tasks were not only completed, but done correctly ensured me this was a solid investment. On a personal note, It pleased me that he took a little moment each day to play with my dog and ensure she was safe while they worked (she didn't like the loud noises). He also made sure that his work space was clean and tidy each day when he was done. Throughout our conversations I felt like I could trust him with opinions when I had questions along the way. The finished product was beyond my expectations and we are now planning for our next remodel.

While we were referred to DPS through our insurance company, I would not hesitate to contact DPS directly in the future for further work. The quality of their work was top-notch, but more importantly, the communication and reliability of the project manager and the work crews was exceptional. I have used a number of different contractors for numerous projects in and around my house over the years, so have much upon which to base this review in comparison. DPS provided the highest quality overall work with the best communication I have ever experienced. The project manager assigned to our job, Daniel Tepe, was extremely professional and is an excellent communicator. He has a remarkable ability to articulate the repairs needed and explain options to the customer, while also keeping work on track. We were pleased with the professionalism, timeliness, hard work, and skill of the various crews. In addition, work that was subcontracted to Alexandria Carpet One and BK Electric was also well-done, timely, and top quality. I came away from this multi-stage repair highly-pleased with the process and the results. I would recommend DPS for any home repair -- they appear to have the ability to manage very large-scale home renovation and restoration projects.
