DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY…read more We hired Daniel Day of Floored at Home LLC to install new carpet in our home on September 28, 2023, at a cost of $6,590. Within just a few months, the carpet began developing significant bubbling and rippling throughout the house. We first reported the problem on March 25, 2024. Daniel returned and re-stretched the carpet, but the problem was not resolved. As the condition continued to worsen, we contacted him again in August 2024 and followed up again in 2025. Unfortunately, he became increasingly unresponsive and never provided a lasting solution. After getting nowhere, we hired independent flooring professionals in early 2026 to inspect the carpet. We were told the carpet was defective and should never have been installed. The carpet is now experiencing severe bubbling, rolling, backing separation, and delamination throughout our home--far beyond what should occur in a carpet that is only about two and a half years old. On May 14, 2026, we again contacted Daniel and provided videos and documentation from another contractor detailing the defects. He said he would contact his distributor, but no resolution ever followed. We also requested a refund in an effort to resolve the matter amicably, but our request went unanswered. We made multiple good-faith attempts over more than two years to work directly with this company before leaving this review. Instead of standing behind the product and installation, we were left with carpet that now has to be completely replaced at significant expense. Hired for flooring prior to move in: Refinish floors and LVP…read more 1. Did not stain floors under appliances because they were "stuck." Costco removed fridge: effortless removal on wheels. Rolled right out. It was clear, Goodman's guys didn't even try. I asked how he would fix it and he said when the fridge dies and they take it out they will fix it. I asked for that in writing and Aaron the owner said "trust me." 2. Wood filler popped out of cracks immediately after refinish. 3. LVP supposed to last 10+ yrs. LVP is buckling. 4. Did not level the subfloor prior to installing the LVP. Over time, the LVP hás molded to the imperfections in the plywood sub-flooring. 5. LVP transition broke because threshold was not supported from underneath. The house is old and that was the excuse used at every obstacle. Maybe he's better with perfect scenarios not older homes.
