    They speak to the positives such as highlighting that a material called fibrex instead of vinyl or plastic. I looked up the composition of Fibrex = 40% wood fibers they have left over from other projects and 60% refurbished thermoplastic polymer. In order to prevent financing or paying up front there is a same as cash program. The program is actually backed by a finance company. The company will run the credit before approval, which is followed by agreement of Renewal. I elected that option. There is suppose to be 50% of total charge at time order is placed, which follows a visit by person to measure each item 3x (measure 3x cut 1x type mentality) I decided it might be best to ask HOA before start and look at little deeper since recycled material was a surprise. I completed the cancel form on 22January2024, which I had until midnight 24January2024. I sent the form to the company and they asked if I wanted to delay I stated clearly again cancel. Secondarily, I sent message to cancel measure appointment and they asked delay or cancel Stated cancel. I was told by the finance company that my account was already charged 50% on 22January2024 and I could not close the account until refund. Now Renewal's reputation appears sketchy at best. Sent two messages to refund. Today was messaged about if I wanted to cancel. My head may have exploded. Maybe I should type slower or use larger bold font. Told will send cancel today Hmm seems waiting attempting to until after my 3 day cancellation window (today 24January2024) No I would not recommend nor would I use them in the future. Beware fellow Veterans they have tiny discount for us. Disrespectful to treat any Citizen and/or Veteran this way. If I need to sue them I will add to this post!

    If you had negative stars you would get them! Bottom line had windows since last October! The leak occurred early April! November 1st, here is my kitchen window! Does it look fixed to you? After numerous attempts and phone calls! This is the result! Talked to 3 people yesterday and finally a supervisor that assured me someone would call me ASAP! 24 hours later no a word, maybe ASAP means something different to your company! Seems your only concern is taking money in and not customer service! It seems to me that for the money people spend for your windows you would care about customer service! If you're concerned have the MGR call me. I'm sure there is information on my calls. Waiting!!If not the BBB is next!!

    In August 2023 we had Renewal by Anderson out to our home to give us quotes on new windows for one wall in one room. They quoted us 18k for the windows. They requested 50% down which we paid and said that the installation would be that fall. In September they sent a followup person out for measurements who claimed several things were wrong with the quote and said we had to pay an additional 1K in adjustments (also apparently there were a lot of errors in the original order on color, grids, etc.), so they did NOT honor the original contract price. I'd also requested on all occasions that the window grids arrive ahead of time so I could stain them to match the room and that I be the contact person for all communication. They kept calling just my husband despite my and his request. On Oct 27 with no notice to me the windows arrived for installation (grids were not delivered ahead of time for staining as repeatedly requested) and they were terrible quality, I stopped installation contacted the sales person sent photos that this was NOT what I was expecting for almost 20k (see pics below). The windows had giant seams where connected and weren't even aligned at connection points. The quality was very bad. Also grids were missing (as well as hadn't been delivered ahead of time like requested). The installation crew and sales person also agreed the quality was well below what was normal. The sales person said they would fix the issue and recontact me. After waiting over a month Nov 27 I contacted him, he had no idea status. I waited another week and told him I wanted to cancel the order. Due to lack of communication, poor quality, and not honoring original price. He said we'd have to pay over 5k to cancel the order despite there being so many issues from Renewal by Anderson. I thought because of all the Anderson issues he just couldn't cancel but I could escalate up and explain the situation. Nope all the way up anderson didn't care that the experience has been awful from their side and if we want to cancel we have to pay a 33% cancellation fee. I'm shocked that a company that is supposed to have a good reputation is so incredibly shady. I'm extremely disappointed by their communication, business practices, and quality of product and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Anderson is supposed to mean quality, in our experience it doesn't.

    So an update to my review. Renewal by Anderson did comeback and readjust my windows. But I still felt a draft coming through this winter season. So I go outside to look underneath my bay window and notice the under trim to be coming off and also notice no foam insulation or sealant between window and home. See the pictures below. I don't know what else to do or say about this company. Im so disappointed with the workmanship. I regret paying their expense prices for these types of issues.

    Well that was awkward. We want a new front door, so I contacted Renewal to set an appointment. Simple enough, except it wasn't. I called, and the lady wanted some information. I gave her my name, address and phone number. She then read a long list of marketing activities I had to agree to including emails, automated calls and texts, at any time for any reason. I said I just wanted to schedule an appointment, and she said I had to agree to all the automated marketing in order to do so. I called again, and they same request was made. I can see why the ratings are so low. A simple process, ruined by idiocy. Antonio M replied below, and let me respond: I provided my name, email, phone number and address in order to set up an appointment to discuss options for a front door. I actually called TWICE, once with the toll free number and once with a local number. I asked for an appointment and was told, twice, that I had to agree first to your marketing campaign via text and calls. We were able to set an appointment with another company, Pella, that puts the customer first. And I just called again to speak directly to Antonio M or Tony M. They don't list an Antonio or Tony there, so they appear to use a fake employee.

I looked over at my wife when he said $67,000 and she looked deathly pale. The room started to spin....$67,000!!! He kept pressuring me to sign a contract right away. Over and over he wanted my signature and said this was just a quote not a contract. He kept on wanting my signature. I am so glad I said no because I read online reviews after he left and I found out that it was a standard practice of their sales people to trick and deceive people into signing a "quote" whereby they are on the hook for THOUSANDS of $$$$ Please folks PLEASE for your own good STAY Away from these people.

Our house is ~120 years old, and we've worked with many contractors over the years while renovating and updating. True Crew has been hands down our best experience. They were attentive to our needs, and helped guide us to wonderful new windows and front door for our house. Their communication was top notch, and when they said they were going to do something, they did it. Their pricing was extremely fair, and they didn't use the same high-pressure or gimmicky tactics that other companies used. The guys who handled the installation were friendly, prompt, and took extra care to ensure every window and the front door were properly installed. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about them. If you're shopping for windows, save yourself the sales pitches I endured and call True Crew. You won't regret it. 10 stars.

Never did get that call. Cancelled the estimate. Reasoning: If you don't do what you promise while you are trying to sell me something, how unreliable are you going to be once I sign on the dotted line?
