Two Men and a Gutter

We hired Two Men and a Gutter to install a wider gutter over our garage. Within a couple months,…read morethe gutter began pulling away from the house, bowing outward, leaking, and overflowing. The installation ultimately left us with a worse problem than the one we originally hired them to solve. What has been far more frustrating than the failed work, however, have been the hostile interactions and complete lack of follow through from Two Men and a Gutter. Over the past year, we have spent countless hours attempting to get this issue resolved. We have made repeated phone calls, left numerous messages, exchanged text messages, and communicated directly with company representatives. Multiple times, the company acknowledged the issue, agreed that the work was covered under warranty, confirmed our account and address, and promised to send someone out to make repairs. No one has ever shown up to even look at the damage, let alone repair it. Each time we followed up, we were given another explanation, another promise, or another timeline. Most recently, we were told someone would come out once the rain had passed. The rain passed. Nobody came. Follow-up messages have gone unanswered. That was in May 2026. To make matters worse, both my husband and I have experienced extremely hostile and aggressive communication from company representatives during our attempts to resolve this issue. What should have been a straightforward warranty repair led to them screaming at me on the phone about our review of their work costing them business. At this point, we have lost confidence that Two Men and a Gutter intends to honor its warranty or stand behind its work. We honestly don't feel safe having by them back at our house either. We will now have to hire and pay another company to correct their poor quality work. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company responds when something goes wrong. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone and would urge you to look elsewhere.

This spring, I noticed there growing out of my gutters so I paid someone else to climb on a letter and take a look sure enough there were no guards installed at all. That was six months ago and I have contacted the company several occasions and the problem still has not been rectified. Thank God, I was wise enough to have them a detailed contract on the work that was to be performed before I made payment so should get some justice from the court. The fact that I even have to take it there company that advertises a lifetime warranty on their work is asinine buyer beware.

This man had no help, let alone a "crew," that he stated he'd bring. They had to stay out in a hotel and were not there to see what was or was not done although when i DID arrive back before expected, I looked at the before photos my sister and nephew had taken prior to my parents going into a local hotel as well as the pictures they'd taken each day they had went to retrieve various necessities as required by our parents. There were days he claimed he was "getting twice as much done as anybody else would," and didn't so much as show up. The "job," he did was as shoddy, half-assed and two-bit as anyone could do and have the temerity to charge people for. When the issues from his lack of proper work soon became as problematic as the original pipe rupture, he picked his phone up once,, then two more times the next week and one the week after, each time rescheduling his "follow-up repairs," as he called them "free of cost out of courtesy for the elderly," never to show up at all, subsequently causing what WAS a $10,000 payment for what likely required no more than $5,000 in parts and labor for labor that was worth no more than it's own weight in fecal matter, to balloon into a $20,000+ repair issue. If Bob ever reads this, he knows exactly about whom I'm speaking and exactly what he did. I do hope for his sake that he never attempts to reach out and "make it right," on the phone let alone in person.
