I've been to renes multiple times for an alignment, wheel balancing, and purchasing a new set of tires. Very good work, great prices and friendly service. Adrian helped me out and even test fit different size tires on my lowered Miata free of charge to see what fit. One caveat is that there are no appointments, so if you're coming for a job that takes longer (e.g. alignment) try to come early in the day before it gets too busy. I've never been to an auto shop alone so I felt pretty intimidated, but everybody that worked there were all friendly. They told me I had a nail in my tire and it would take approximately an hour because they were pretty busy, but I decided to wait anyways. Not only did this shop have what we need but They got us in and out in under 30 minutes. My kids and I were thrilled!! The last honest tire shop. Should've left this review when I first came here about three years ago but I figured I'd leave one since I keep coming back. About three years ago, I was driving an old car and wanted to change my tires before the rainy days appeared. I pulled into one of those big chain tire shops and they recommended I change all my tires for a sale price of about 600.00. I told them I'd come back and googled tire shops near me. Rene's had the highest reviews and I found out why. The first time I ever came to Rene's, I asked the gentleman which tires needed to be replaced (dreading the same expensive answer). He recommended I change only one and showed me why. Immediately, I knew I could trust them. They weren't trying to force sales on me, they genuinely believed only one of my tires was worn and I shouldn't worry about the rest; I don't think I paid any more than 50 for a used tire in excellent condition (they do sell new tires too). As a young woman who has been lied to and taken advantage of by several service shops who overcharge and oversell, it's refreshing to have a consistently reliable and trustworthy place to go to. Went in today because I've found myself putting air in a troubled tire every week for the past month. I decided to just replace it and figured I'd come out with a new tire. The gentleman at Rene's offered to check and repair the tire since its tracks were still in good condition. Sure enough, my tire had a pinhole and Rene's repaired it for a few bucks. They could have recommended I replace it entirely and made more profit off of my situation but again, their customer service pulled through. They looked at my tire and said I need a new one but they didn't have one in stock. I went to Costco and they told me they only sell it by pair. I couldn't afford 2 tires so I passed. I drove home on my spare tire and tried again in the morning. This place actually checked my flat tire to see if i just had a hole or needed a new one. This is going to be a short review because I really have nothing negative to say. I've only come here twice, and each time was super fast. They charge $45 for an alignment and I wanna say it took maybe 20 minutes? I don't know the exact time but I didn't wait very long at all. The second time I came here it was just to fix a flat and they only charged me $15 (their sign said $10 and up so I think that's pretty reasonable). Haven't been to many tire places but of the ones I have, this place has impressed me most. The first and formost thing to me is their honesty. The second, their customer service. I had a tire that was having a questionable air leak, but it wasn't certain. I took it to one place and told the tire needed to be completely replaced, which I couldn't do at that moment. I ended up coming here. They took the tire, checked it out. It had a small nail in the tire. They took it out, patched the tire up and gave it back. Here's the kicker, he said no charge for it. Damn, such places still exist in this day and age?! From that point on they had my business. That kind of honesty and courtesy has always impressed me. I've had a few more tires repaired since then and of course I've had to pay for it, but they've given the same great level of customer service and professionalism each and every time. read more

Let me start by saying, I've gone to ALOT of tire shops with all of my cars so I know when I've found a good one. However, I've trusted no tire shop with the fiberglass fenders, wheels, TPMS sensors and wheel studs of my Saturn Sky. If you know anything about stripped wheels studs, you know what I'm referring to. The guys at Rene's Tire Shop not only take great care of jacking up my Sky and handling my wheels, they take their time in screwing back, by hand, each and every wheel lug nut, so as to prevent stripped wheel stud threads, and they do all of this for a VERY reasonable price. The fact that all of their staff are very professional, courteous, and amazingly efficient commands my loyalty for their tire services for all of my cars. I'm only giving them a 4 because I don't want them to get a big head and think they can't improve. That being said, I got two pretty darned good-looking Michelin tires for $35 each and I told them I would be back next time I needed tires. I would definitely recommend Rene's Tires if you need either inexpensive used or a good price on new tires. They were done by the time I got back from McDonald's lunch. I LOVE this place!! Their customer service is GREAT. Couldn't be better. The guys have adorable personalities and are happy to help you out. They're also incredibly honest with great tire deals. I had originally been quoted on the phone for a new tire @ $70. When I got there I relayed this info to another guy (who wasn't the one I had spoken to), and instead of taking advantage of me thinking it was the wrong price, he looked at me sideways and said, "$70? Nooo...more like $60. Total." A brand new tire actually ended up costing me $55 after taxes, balancing, etc. I will come here from now on for all my tire needs. I hope you do too! read more

Amazing customer service even though I couldn't get my alignment done, which was my own fault. I took my lowered car to Rene's to get an alignment done for a killer price off of a recommendation from a friend. A guy there wasn't sure my car would make it up the alignment rack but he decided to give it a try anyway. It took three guys to properly get my car onto the rack but couldn't get it any further to lift it up. Even after me wasting their valuable time, they still took my car slow and carefully down the ramps. Now this, my fellow yelpers, is customer service that I would always come back to. Overall, amazing customer service and they WILL take care of your car. I recommend this place to get all your tire, brakes, and alignment needs taken care of. The best tires shop I have ever been to!!! wonderful service. I brought 5 tires with sensors from somebody and ask them to put them on. After they finish put the tires on then we found out that the seller has BS me that the tires has sensors when they did not. So the shop workers has to take all the tires out and re do the whole thing AGAIN !! They did it fast, with a smile and did not charge me anything more than what they told me from the beginning... did not bitch about it too. I just think these hard working folks are the best in town. If anyone need tires services, you will not be disappointed if you go here, and I am sure there are lots of people knew this already... because they are always so busy. Good for Them !!! This place is amazing. They are polite and take the time to explain everything that's going on with your car. We took our 2004 Honda Accord in to replace all four tires. While replacing the tires they noticed a bolt that had been pulled away from the body and made sure to fix it for us before replacing the tire. They are honest, dependable people. I had a flat tire and as I drove in the workers knew exactly which tire it was. The guy that helped me was really nice, reassuring and helpful. He told me the price to change fix my tire was $10, but then he left and another guy came to talk to me about changing my tires and buying new ones. I asked a lot of questions so I could be fully aware and the second worker tried to charge me $12/13 for fixing my flat when I was originally told it was 10 to begin with. I felt like he was trying to shift the price because I seemed clueless about tires so I questioned why there was a sudden increase in the price when someone told me it was just 10 and he was like oh ok then and changed the price back. It could be a miscommunication amongst the employees, but overall the service was done quickly and the employees were nice. It's located fairly close to UCR and they are pretty knowledgable so I would recommend. read more

This place deserves five stars! Being a broke college student, it's hard to find a good deal on tires. I'm perfectly fine with used tires as long as there's good tread on them; my dad always got the tires on my car used. After realizing that my two back tires COMPLETELY had no more tread on them, I looked up tire places around Riverside, and stumbled upon Rene's.
