This was undeniably the worst experience I've ever had getting my nails done. This new owner is TERRIBLE. First I had to wait over a half an hour even though I had an appointment. Second, she did not say a single word to me while she was doing my nails. Third, she did a horrible job and messed up my nails. My first pedicure, and now I know it won't be my last. Everyone was polite, and the pedicure was very nice, relaxing, and of good quality.

If you want to feel completely rushed, have a subpar job done and hope and pray for the best then please feel free to go here. They do your gel nails at the same time as your pedicure so you are constantly maneuvering back and forth to angle yourself so they can rush through. You can't use the massage chair as it shakes to much for the nail painting and the foot massage is barely a massage again because if she actually massages you then it's hard to paint your nails. This place is a decent nail salon to get decent things done. Like regular manicure or pedicure. However, I DO NOT recommend getting acrylics from them. 1.) they didn't clean my cuticle and went straight to applying powder 2.) the acrylic powder dried up to my skin due to careless application 3.) they came off within a week i cared for them very carefully, but since the lady applied the acrylics carelessly to my skin. It left a hole/gap within my nail and acrylics. There are so many other places you can go and I don't recommend this one. read more

I went because of the reviews I read. I wasn't disappointed. Reasonably priced and pleasant staff, great service. Nicely decorated and clean. I was even offered something to drink. I had a mani/pedi and felt like I was at a mini spa due to the time and energy spent massaging, etc. Especially on my feet. This is my all-time favorite nail salon. I hardly ever get my nails done- when I do, it's a real treat. I usually just pick a place I have a coupon to and hope it's okay. Not anymore- I will make a special trip to come to Renaissance Nails. It's the cleanest nail salon I've ever been in! The ladies are SO kind and friendly and the prices are extremely reasonable. The deluxe pedicure is to die for- it's worth every penny. The ladies really spend a lot of time on you and make you feel important. I got a fill in of acrylic & gel polish. The service was excellent! i wish i had had time for a pedi! The chairs looked great & everyone was praising the final product. Got a brow wax too- nothing amazing but i was happy. The thing that lost a star is they charged me $20 for the full in & $17 for the gel polish & $10 for the wax. No combo discount. read more

What a great hidden gem. Finding a new nail salon when you move is hard, thanks to yelp I found this place! I came in with my fiancée in January, and today I went back for a mani pedi. I have been going to a few different places and it has been less than average on the pedicures and eyebrows. I was weary about going anywhere else and hadn't gone to anyone in a while. I was wanting to be pampered so I read the reviews and decided to give this place a try. I got the deluxe pedicure and regular manicure with an eyebrow and lip wax. WOW!!!!! It was amazing. They massaged my legs for what seemed like an hour. My eyebrows are perfect and the regular manicure was was just as relaxing. I only got paint on my feet and it looks perfect. My hands even look nice without any color. I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed. read more

They're VERY nice here especially the front guy which I'm guessing is the manager. He was constantly checking up on me asking if I wanted anything to drink and how I liked my nails. The actual interior is nice and clean, and they did a good job on my manicure ($10!) The only thing I would recommend is to bring cash for tips! I didn't have any cash on me, so I told them to charge me a little extra for tip, since I guess you can't add your own on the receipt. read more

I tried this facility due to Yelp reviews. I thought the prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. They did a very good job with my acrylic fill and deluxe pedicure. The only reason this didn't get 5 star was there were some areas of the facility that needed to be fixed, a garbage can was pretty dirty and unless you stumbled across it you didn't know they did gel color which I always get at another place. I am looking for a nail salon in the area. I went here to have my gel polish removed and get a regular manicure. The salon is a typical size nail salon. Decorated with "renaissance" art work. The people that work here were all very nice. My manicure was good. My nails look nice. There were two things I didn't like. 1) they used a warm bowl of acetone with small pebbles in the bottom to soak off my gel polish. She alternated soaking and scraping the polish - but I didn't love my fingertips soaking in this. Seemed to be drying for my fingers. Also - while the salon appears clean enough- I noticed that they do not use tub liners for pedicures. I prefer those. I can see why it gets so many good ratings - but I will continue to search. read more

Highly recommended! It's so hard to find a good place to get a mani pedi. You won't be disappointed here. After reading the awesome reviews on yelp I figured I'd try it out. Deluxe pedicure and manicure for $40 which is a great deal. The pedicure massage lasted for what seemed like an hour - enough to keep me coming back. They also offer a drink which is a small gesture but always appreciated. They aren't pushy at all like other salons. Great experience overall! read more

This place is awesome! Easily the best nail salon I've been to in Metro Atlanta. The decor is immaculate. It's Grecian inspired. Has beautiful panted ceilings, nice artwork on the walls and lovely Greek columns throughout the salon. Always exceptionally clean. The "maitre' d (owner)" is constantly walking through to offer water & coffee. Prices are not that expensive either. I just paid $15 for an eyebrow wax & toe nail polish. Love this place! read more

I recently got my nails done (acrylic) at another location, but one of my nails broke at work so I stopped by to see if they can re-do the french nails. I asked the man who greeted me if they can fix it even though I didn't get the set there. He was very polite, and he told me it was possible for $3. I was okay with that, so I was seated. The only thing I was a bit upset on was the lack of care. Perhaps it was because it was one nail, so she wasn't expecting much tip, but compared to the other nails, the acrylic was way too thick and the length uneven. I knew different salons have different colored powder so I was prepared for the shade to be slightly different but I didn't expect it to be so thick and the white tip so uneven that it would make the fixed nail standout compared to the others. I tried filing it down myself at home, and eventually just painted it a different color. I have been to Renaissance before, and they have always been attentive to detail and has always been polite. So, I guess this was just a one time experience I thought I should share, or a lesson learned that I will only go there for a full set instead of just fixes. read more

Best nail place in the area as far as I'm concerned. I've been here three times and this place is consistently clean and detailed with their services. Even when everything chair is full on a Friday afternoon, each person working takes time with the clients and I've never felt like they were rushing. Best leg massage with deluxe pedicure. Ask for Linda. Also, I've never heard the employees speak any language other than English which I find to be very respectful of the customers. Have been going here for nail care for the past 6 years. Have had consistently great results. Friendly, courteous staff, I often see them go out of their way to help customers. I often took my mother, in her 80's, in for a treat. She was always treated with the utmost respect and consideration, gently and kindly attended to.
