I had a BASIC manicure and pedicure. The tall, young male blonde Asian fella was horrible! He has ABSOLUTELY no idea on details for personal service e.g. cleanliness (left towel w/toe clippings on food base for entire pedicure), lotion only on front of my legs, lukewarm turned cold water, massage with one hand on each leg and foot simultaneously...horrible. He picked a very lovely nail color when my chosen one was not available. He nipped my cuticles (feet and hands - worse on hands). I had to pull my feet away after telling him a few times. Finger nails jagged and he scratched my nail bed w/cuticle cutter. I didn't notice until I went home, but noted to attendant. Went back 4 days later after cuticles began sloughing off w/tears AND jagged nails peeling back. I went back to show staff manager (Tee).... no help. She offered 10% of next manicure. I declined after much back & forth. She cited, "You only one that say he not good.". I left and decided to warn ANYone contemplating going there... DON'T. Two stars for not being straight forward about pricing. I paid $193 for short almond deep French acrylic nails and shellac pedicure. I honestly can't tell you in detail what was charged for the acrylic nails. For the shellac pedicure, he sat me down and held a book in front of me asking which I wanted. The only options he showed were $70 pedicures and flips it over to $100 pedicures. I asked if the $70 pedicures were the basic options and he simply said "yes". As he proceeded with the extra oils, scrubs, hot wax, hot stones, I absolutely new this wasn't basic. It was definitely my fault for not asking again. I'm not sure if it was the language barrier between us both, but he was very vague with me. I won't discredit the work though. He did a fine job on the nails. But for $193, I think that's a bit overkill. Very odd there's no pricing displayed (that I can find)... FYI the black book of prices under the photos is not what they use. Danny the nail tech put a fake nail on top of another fake nail and tried to let it slide until I said something about it, then the glue got on my finger and stuck to my other finger, he didn't attempt to say sorry but continued to do my nails with them being sticky from the acetone, my nail bed was stuck to my skin , part of my nail was showing through the nail and was clearly visible. I had to speak to the manager and explain the problem but he stood there staring at my finger instead of giving me eye contact. The prices were outrageous upon checking out , and they are not professional like they claim to be. It was apparently Danny's first time doing nails ! Came in with my mom for the first time to this location. It's brand new. They just opened a month ago in the new 211 H‑E‑B shopping center. They don't have too many employees working, maybe because they're so new. It wasn't busy when we came on a Monday evening. Customer service was good. Not the worst, but I won't be back. My daughter and I went here yesterday just for a basic nail polish on our fingers and toes. We were helped quickly and the job wasn't the worst, but isn't the quality I would expect from a professional. The lady filing my nails hurt me and I almost had to ask her to stop. She also got nail polish on my skin and I had to point it out to her to fix it. After that she smudged my pinky nail and I again had to ask for it to be fixed. There is also an area on my toe nail that isn't painted. The lady that did my daughter's nails was rough with her when grabbing her hand to paint her nails and she also had a significant smudge that she had to ask to be fixed. Also, not a deal breaker, but they weren't friendly and didn't speak to us at all. The lady doing my nails stopped twice to answer her cell phone. I kept getting cut and even when I kept pulling away because it hurt she would not be more careful. Second time going here for nails, first visit was pedicures for myself, the hubby, and our teen daughter. Water was really hot, burned my feet. My daughter and I got their basic pedicure but for some reason my daughter was done way before my husband and I and we all started the same time. They must of mistaken her for a child who is under 12 but they did ask her age. Her nail tech (male) skipped the leg massage part‍ but was still charged the full price for adults. They were good at offering drinks so that's a plus. One weird thing, when my massage chair stopped I turned it back on but my nail tech turned it off...am I not allowed to take full advantage of a massage during my pedicure?? She did not say anything when she turned it off. Found it weird. Never had that happens before at other salons. Today I went for the second time. I booked an appointment for gel manicure the day before and was able to get a spot right at opening. I walk in and I'm the first customer. I see no worker. After a few minutes a lady comes out asking what I wanted and I told her I had an appointment. I get seated and she gave me the book of nail colors. A man comes asking me what I want done then another lady came shortly after and asked the same exact thing. I'm a bit annoyed for having to repeatedly tell them what I was there for. I chose my colors than another lady came asking the same thing so I asked who is doing my nails? I got asked 4 times by 4 different people. Get it together please! Finally the last lady started on my nails after soaking with acetone with foil. As she was buffering off my old gel nails a male technician comes over to her station and they start speaking in their language. You can guess what happened next... they traded seats so now he is doing my nails. Geezus can they be more organized and not hop from one customer to another? He just had a customer get seated at his station. Wonder what the problem was. Anyway, my nails came out nice BUT he did not file my nails. He cut my tips and started painting. I thought he had a different method and going to do it at the end but he didn't. He massaged my forearm and hands then sent my way to the register. I left with sharp unfiled nails. Had to file them myself when I got home. This is a basic step and he failed to do it. I expect them to know the basics so no I'm not going to tell them what to do. They should already know but I guess I should have said something but like I said thought he was going to do it at the end‍ I would not go back here. Maybe if all the other nail salons are booked then maybe. Oh and they don't serve coffee. Just water, OJ, and sodas. I went today at 11 am which is a Sunday. First time we went they had alcoholic drinks. I'm not sure how long they have been in business but they need to work on some kinks and perhaps retrain their nail technicians. read more

Before signing in I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they said no problem. It was a very simple design. The technician put white dots on my toes and called them flowers. She painted my toes first before doing the pedicure. I was so disappointed I told her I was going to remove polish and asked what she would charge me to just be done..she charged me $30 and all she did was paint my toes no foot soak or cuticle clean up. I went across the street to Milan and they did an amazing job and they had already closed and they fixed my toes!! I will never go back to renaissance read more

We sat in our chairs both got classic pedis with shellac they weren't anything special. My heels weren't scraped and the shaping of my toes looks weird. The polish looks messy but it's a risk you take with trying new places. I paid $57 for a classic pedi with shellac. I do not think we will be returning. The one star is for the ok Pedicure BUT went for both pedicure and manicure and ended up walking out as soon as nail tech finished destroying my nails by not soaking off my gel and going right for the drill. Just don't! I have intentionally waited weeks to post my review due to my extreme displeasure with the service. I requested a dip manicure and a pedicure. While getting my pedicure, a lady approached and just started on the removal of my nail powder: she did not speak and never made eye contact. I spoke to her but she continued to appear that she was annoyed that she was asked to the service. She was quite rough and upon completion of my nails, I was beyond dissatisfied with my nails. There was dip powder all around my nails and on my fingers, my cuticles had not been touched, etc. I pointed out the areas that were not okay and she sighed and did a half job trying to correct her mistake. I then noticed that she missed some of my nail surfaces. She took me to her table and just began to add more powder. If you know anything about dip powder, you know that this was a set up for a disaster. After I told her that I was not happy and stated that my cuticles look cleaner when I do them, she said that she could do them. I politely said that was not necessary and that I would just leave. Upon going to the counter to pay, I did express to the manager that I was not pleased at all. In his fairness, he did offer for me to come back and that he would fix my nails but I just couldn't walk back in that salon. I am not super particular but I like to at least be treated with respect and provided with good customer service. read more

Not really feeling this place. While they and the customers were nice, the quality of work is just not there. After getting into the car and inspecting both my pedicure and manicure, I will not be returning. The nail polish job and nail filing on my fingers was poorly done and started chipping the next day. You can see lines from the nail polish color and top coat. It wasn't evenly distributed throughout my nails bc not enough polish was used! My pedicure was relaxing and the scrub was nice but after examining the work he did on my toes I could have done a better job at home. The paint is already chipping off my toes too! The place is big and can hold a lot of people to get them in and out. The station he used to give me my manicure was dirty. It had powder on the wrist rest and he used the same tools he used on my feet on my manicure. While they offer rewards, it's just not worth it. I went with 3 of my family members and two of us were sat and started. When they did my brothers pedicure they cut his nails like they were blindfolded and cut all of his cuticles to the point that they were bleeding and then claimed he wasn't bleeding and they were like that when we came in. My nail technician used the tools to make it look like he was doing something and cut them terribly and took off all of my pinky nail. I came here to get a pedicure. Although they had a huge selection of colors, they were all "off brands", which I feel like always chip easier than the name brands. I didn't like the massage chairs- compared to other places they just didn't seem to do anything expect push me around in the chair... literally no massaging going on. The guy who painted my toes seemed to have trouble getting the polish to come out of the jar, or to go on smoothly, so he ended up mixing some other polish with the one picked... so the color did NOT look like what I picked out. I would have rather he just said- hey, this isn't working, can I find another color for you? But when he was mixing the colors he did it kinda sneaky like he thought I didn't see cuz I was looking at my phone. The leg massage during the pedi was very surface level, basic. For what I got, I paid $51, which is more than the usual place I go to, where I get a way better experience. I obviously won't be back.
