There were no surprise charges, the prices were exactly as marked and most affordable I've seen in San Antonio so far. New Owners are trying but I'm not impressed with acrylic pedicure. Had to be instructing the guy on steps for fills on existing acrylic toes. Final product was something someone's teenager could've done. Not even or we'll shaped lumpy. Time and product was spent so I paid the $75 but hope they train staff better. I don't like to write bad reviews but this really bothered me. I walked in and asked for a manicure. The only thing that came out of the employee' mouth was "sorry we're busy". There was only one person waiting and I understand I did not have an appointment. She looked annoyed and didn't ask me if I wanted to schedule appointment, if I wanted to come back, and she completely dismissed me even after I stood there for a moment. I like to shop small businesses and this nail place was in my neighborhood so I wanted to give them a try. I will never step foot in this place again and I will certainly not refer anyone. I also want to add that I walked in at 4 PM and they are open until 6 PM so it's not like I walked in right before closing either. Absolutely no customer service. read more

I have been meaning to write a review for this nail salon for like 6 months. First off I LOVE that it's a family business. Mainly run by husband and wife team and occasionally some other family members. Secondly I love that they know me by name even with a mask. Thirdly they are sweet human beings. I've been told how the Vietnamese ended up being trained to be nail stylist, been educated about some wars that have happened in Vietnam. They talk to you and ask about you and remember my career. Talk about creating customer relationships and adding value to your experience! They engage and pay attention to their customers. Fourthly if none of that means anything to you bc you're like just give me a good nail salon already they are definitely that! My nails last forever they aren't overly thick or bulky like some places make them, they practice safety measures, they have a jillion colors to pick from, it's clean and quiet and normally by appointment only. It's great not to feel like you're in a herd when going to pamper yourself. Go here! read more

My friend and I went a little before closing and instead of them telling us to come back tomorrow they took us In gave us something to drink and they did our nails and feet .They stayed two hours after closing taking their time to make sure our pedi and nails were done perfectly . This was my first time here and I promise to never go back again. Once I first walked in they didn't even seem to want to help me. There are limited selections for powder dip nails. The guy didn't even bother to ask me what shape I wanted and took it upon himself to choose a shape that looks horrible. My nails are uneven and when I tried to get him to fix it he said there's nothing he can do and pretended to shape them down. The lightning inside is poor so you can barely see and it looks dirty. read more

I was not happy with my service at all. We went in on a Saturday and there was one man doing nails and 2 ladies doing pedicures. My mom and I went in for a pedicure and a full set. We waited about 15 min, which isn't bad but I just feel they should have more people working on the weekend. I wanted a coffin tip and shellac matte color but it was way to over priced. The place I usually go to I can pay about $42 for this, they were going to charge me about $55 for this. So I decided to get a basic acrylic set which was $30 no matte because it was an addition cost. We were there about an hr and a half for the pedi and full set. My mom said the lady who did her pedi rushed through it and hurt her so bad she was bleeding. Today (one day after getting the set) I was opening a drawer and my nail broke. So I started looking at the rest of my nails more closely and see that there are a few other ones that are flimsy and going to break easily. I'm not happy with the service at all. They are to over priced for what you get, I feel like if I go in to try and get them to fix it they will try and charge me for it. read more

I called ahead and had an appointment at 3p.m. I waited till 4:15 p.m. to be helped. I just got my nails painted and I was out of there. I will never return to this location. It does not look like they clean very well as well. I will be calling the Health inspector. The Vietnamese lady is very rude. read more

Kim is definitely the go to person at this salon! She takes her time and listens to a clients needs and wants. I have gotten both an acrylic set, manicure, and pedicure and they have all been amazing. I have noticed that the other employees do not have the same work ethic. They rush on pedicures when there is a long wait time. No massage, clean up, etc. I would highly recommend you call and make an appointment with Kim because she is always booked. They do offer drinks and they're prices are average. $28 for a basic pedicure and I believe $30 and up for nails. read more

I came in with my friend Jessica about an hour before they closed & not only did they stay after to finish our nails and feet but they didn't complain once! They were soo friendly, they offered us water and they put on a movie on Netflix for us to watch. They did my natural nails which looked terrible when I got there and they did an awesome job!!! I went last week and I will never go again. I have a usual place but it's far from where I live and this nail salon was close so I decided to go , my Normal nail salon charges me 35 dollars for a full set , I always get coffin and normal nail polish NO GEL. This Aura nail salon charged me 55 $ for what I always get in the other nail salon. Also they are very dirty I was washing my hands and there was 2 dead cockroaches on the floor. And this creepy man kept looking at me the WHOLE TIME. I felt uncomfortable but never again. read more

They're nice only as long as you like their work. Any criticism of the subpar work and they will tell you that you're unwelcome there. They wanted me to pay for something that looked nothing like what I asked for and then got mad because she spent 2 hours on it like my 2 hours weren't just wasted as well. After all the money I spent there and referrals and friends/family I've brought with me. The low quality work is exactly why I stopped going a few months ago and just thought I'd give them a try again since Kim has always done decently. Then tell me I always get discounts as if I have EVER asked for a discount. I pay heavily for quality work and don't believe in trying to make people lower their prices. I will never return here and I'll make sure to let everyone know the disgusting customer service skills when their terrible work is criticized. Learn how to take criticism and be up front with your customers if you do not have the correct stuff to complete a nail idea so that they won't get stuck with being forced to pay or told "you're not welcome here."
